sfxmum · 29/08/2008 09:40

ok we are having breakfast now from 11 is ok

rosmerta · 29/08/2008 09:44

hi all,

given that there are a few of us who seem to be dh-less tomorrow, does anyone fancy meeting up during the day?

bunyan, glad you had a good time in B. Hope you feel better soon though.

sfx, what did you go see last night? Funnily enough, ds also didn't go off to sleep until about 9pm, very odd for him.

Btw, does anyone know how long it might take a wall to dry out after a leak? I still keep getting whiffs of damp plaster and I'm paranoid now that the leak hasn't stopped! Of course, dh can't smell anything and think its a pregnancy thing!

sfxmum · 29/08/2008 10:03

KC do you now Eddie R is playing in London 19 Oct? S. Bush I think

ros went to see Dark Night quite good very long
and yes to something to do tomorrow please

PaddlePig · 29/08/2008 10:24

huff! how come you lot become DH-less on a weekend day when I am busy?

for once I actually slept quite well last night.

quite novel to be in the office on a friday......

SushiMummy · 29/08/2008 14:48

Are we doing something tomorrow? Can I come? Are you coming, QC? If so, I'll bring shoes and wellies. I have a feeling that your DS has outgrown my DS who is wearing size 6.5/7 shoes at the mo. I have brandnew wellies of size 7 to give away, tho.

I'm on a course today and it's already finished! Might go shopping.

MrsRecycle · 29/08/2008 16:11

HELLO - sorry had to shout but not sure if you can hear me from Hastings! Just a quick post - no time to catch up - lovely week with you all - missing you lots - ds is especially missing his dancing partner KC! Weather hasn't improved and I had flu yesterday.

Off to check out the rides before I get the bus back to the van. Catch up with you all next week.

SJ99 · 29/08/2008 16:27

Hello MrsR! - glad you're enjoying being, hope flu thing has not got worse

Sfx - thanks for having us, nice to catch up and see Mellow again. DS actually fell asleep just as we got off the bus and is still snoozing!

Ros- I think I'm going to give Brighton a miss as I'm quite tired so will stay local. Was thinking of going to sandpit in Bushy park tom and prob will take a picnic along for later if anyone wants to join us

Maybe swimming on Sun...

Oh someone just woke up, best go

rosmerta · 29/08/2008 17:21

tbh sj, I was jumping on what I thought was sbs's idea!

We will probably also stay local tomorrow, Bushy Park a bit far for us. Happy to go to Kew though

sfxmum · 29/08/2008 17:59

hi all

wave to mrsR

Ros I might go to Kew at some point tomorrow dh hasn't yet confirmed that he is working to morrow but I think it likely

SJ&Mellow lovely to have you around with respective children, niece loved entertaining them and said they were all adorable bless her
good thing too as I have been really dozy all day and developed a headache later

weather has been really disappointing today hasn't it

sillybigsausage · 29/08/2008 19:55

SFX I still think it will be a scorcher tomorrow though - I am doing 5 lots of washing in anticipation

I can't be arsed driving to Brighton either TBH

I might join you all tomorrow - will have 4 kids with me as DS1 has a friend sleeping over tonight

Its my birthday tomorow and DH might be working late plus he's working Sunday which means I can't go for my swim - how shite is that eh? Feeling a bit unloved over here

We went to my old house today and had a lovely cuppa with the owners (an elderly gay couple) It was so nice and they let me nose around. I didn't get spooked by my old room, nor the hall (which I still dream about as it has fabby Edwardian tiles on the floor) but got completey spooked by the bathroom...

It remains almost unchanged and has these grogeous tiles on the wall, which I had completely forgotten. I have spent so many hour of my life, sitting in that bath gazing at those tiles - very spooky

Had a rather manic swim this arvo with DD, DS1 and DS1's mate - a bit too lively - the pool seemed to be packed full of very noisey boys !

sillybigsausage · 29/08/2008 19:56

MrR thank you so much for organising that holiday - it was lovely

sillybigsausage · 29/08/2008 19:57

MrsR I mean

Paddlechick666 · 29/08/2008 20:50

it can't be a scorcher tomorrow, i have just bought the most amazing pair of Converse that are not suitable for warm weather.

they have bizarre laces which I have just spent quite some time figuring out LOL.

i also invested in a shredder this evening with plans to shred after dd has gone to bed in front of the TV.

BLARDY HELL it makes a racket!

SBS, have a great day tomorrow if I don't manage to get online before going to pick up Princess Gorgeous.

MrsR, sorry about the flu and missing us. We miss you too. DD is full of talk of your lot.

When are you heading back up here then?

susiecutiebananas · 29/08/2008 21:48

evening ladies

Anyone still about?

I'm just sitting here, watching Most haunted live- not much else on really. Sipping rather large baileys hmmmmm

DD just gone to her bed. She fell asleep on me ealier and I was enjoying the cuddle as she does't often do that. DIdn't want to put her down.

WE went to a local swing playground in the end, then had lunch with friend and her DD and DS ( Iittlecuties first love he's 17 months old, and a handsome little man, so kind and gentle despite beig a very active chunky boy, he's alwyas very kind to izzy. they did alot of hugging, holding hands and pointing today.

Im waiting for DH to appear, though I suspect it'll be tomorrow evening.

SJ- I'd happily join you in bushy park, its my local Not sure if you have my number, but do give us a call/text and we'll wander along.- only thing that might stop us would be 'HIM' actually coming home, or my pain being crappy... oh, or torrential rain, most weather is not a prob though!

Paddle, i might bring my stuff that needs shreading over... althoguh I do have a shredder, its just I can't find the motivation!

sillybigsausage · 29/08/2008 21:51

Im here Susie [cyber wave]

Hiding from the DCs who hould be in bed but aren't....

they are camping downstairs tonight

susiecutiebananas · 29/08/2008 22:00

helllo sillybig

I've just heard the washing machine finish, was re-washing the nappies, because my dear little girl, bless her, had loaded all the dirty ones from the bucket into the machine, in amongst the clean ones waiting to come out! couldn't work out which were which... she really was trying to help though.

I am looking at the Sennen cove accomodation site, in case there are some last minute cancellations for september. I'm itching to go back already!

sillybigsausage · 29/08/2008 22:43

Susie - LOL at your DD's nappy adventures!! - I have just put our 4th wash on in anticpation of sun tomorrow - 5th wash will be loaded by DH at approx 5am when he gets up for work!!

When I unloaded some washing earlier today I found that DS2 (aged 18m) had put his drinking cup in there for a wash!! No wonder I had heard an odd rattling sound!

Respect to you for using real nappies!!!!

Is Sennen Cove on north or south coast of Cornwall?

I sooooo love Cornwall - it is magical isn't it?

Paddlechick666 · 30/08/2008 07:45

Happy Birthday To Ya!!!!!

My last chance for a lie in and I wake up at 6am

Weather looks lovely already, it'll be fun sitting in the car!

rosmerta · 30/08/2008 08:56

happy birthday sbs!

paddle, hope your journey isn't too bad

susie, lol @ your dd helping with the washing (even though I'm sure you weren't!). Ds tries to help me hang up the washing which generally means it falling into the dirt!

Dh & nephew have changed their plans from Thorpe Park to Chessington so ds & I are going to go there for the day with them.

Must admit, its quite funny seeing what its going to be like having a teenage boy

Kewcumber · 30/08/2008 09:08

looks like the weather is going to pick up this arfo and be shit tomorrow in which case I might ditch swimming today for Kew Gardens if anyone wants to join us and go swimming tomorrow instead.

SushiMummy · 30/08/2008 09:18

QC - might join you. Where and when are you going to be at KG?

SushiMummy · 30/08/2008 09:46

Happy birthday, sbs!
