well nothing wrong with honesty dd does the same with people she likes a lot, sometimes when my family come over they stay until late and she will send them home saying it is time for my bath and bedtime so you should go

My meal planning seems to be working really well, just checked and now have about 10 meals in the freezer , don't need to cook so much next week now. And I know why I'm running out of my freezer tubs!

productive day on paddle planet. laid the carpet and it looks pretty good actually. just about to let dd grind spag bol into it tho

went off to ikea and worked out a pretty good plan for my new kitchen. chose units and worktops too. just need to cost it now!

i am exhausted LOL!

new carpet definately cuts noise down but dd is even more determined to thump around because "it's too quiet now mummy!"

popped in to matalan and got new winter pjs and some jeans for dd. plus a delightful plastic goblet with disney princesses and jewels inset in the stem and base. gah! dd has been singing Barbie song ever since adn i keep telling her it's NOT BARBIE and if it were you wouldn't HAVE it!

I don't really freeze many meals as it takes a lot of forethought to defrost (no microwave etc)

I do try to be organised and take it out in the morning & then can heat it through in the pan. But doesn't happen very often so microwave is handy then!

I've first hand experience of miniSFX being very honest and asking us to go home! I didn't blame her though, DD ad been winding her up ( unintentionally I hope!) for about an hour, all over a large cardboard tube I think neither of te girls actuallly wanted! there was lots of "mine" "mine" going on! funny girls, both over tired I think!

Yes SJ, your little man certainly is a cockerny at heart! He said come to my bed up the stairs pears more than once... DH thought he sounded like a very smooth talker when I told him that DD had had her first invite by a boy, upstairs.! OF course stairs really are apple and pears.... so he's clearly a natural! HE made me chuckle with so many little rhymes, can't think of any of them now though

I'm takign notes on all the school stuff, I know i"m in slightly different area but still under Richmond Council so prob similar routine here...

I'm trying to get an early night tonight....hmmm, not looking good so far! Will trasfer DD to my bed soon so I don't have far to go to get her when se inevitably wakes up coughing etc.

SFX, they had played really nicely until the tube came out! seemed to trigger the tiredness, was a warm day too. I wen t away thinking how nicely they had played all day so wasn't too bad really!

hi all, dd was really impressed with the animals at nursery today, giant snail, giant cockroach, giant millipede, snake and bunny

KC - how dare you forget my ds from that list? Actually no, you were right first off, my baby is absolutely NOT going to school, ever ever ever. It is bad enough that my eldest baby has to start High School and I've got to find a school for her in the next few weeks (why the rush eh? couldn't they let you do this in the school holidays!).

Following on from the toothbrush at nursery conversation, I was asked today to bring one for ds. Apparently now he's in the older toddler room they brush their teeth after lunch!
