Drat. Should have mentioned that I can't do August as MIL is over from NZ and will be keeping DS all to herself (I plan to have 31 lie ins ).

Free Fridays in September anyone? I can do Mondays too!

I went to Beechdale because I was driving past it on Monday and they don't do swimming between 9 and midday on a Tuesday. Back to the drawing board.......

Well, we're finally here in Bramcote, and dd and ds1 are at school all day (as of today). Dh starts at college next Monday. I am in need of a bit of a daytime social life, outside of Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Any takers?

We're very near the church - just up from the A52 roundabout. Have found out that there's a tumbletots session just round the corner on Tuesdays, so we'll go along to that, although I now can't go next week because we need to go to dh's grandad's funeral. Apart from that could meet for coffee Monday or Wednesday. Would Beeston be okay? I haven't ventured to Long Eaton yet, LOL!

Hi, anybody been to Denz in Beeston before? What are the facilities like, how much is the entrance fee, and would it be suitable for an 8 month old, crawling? Also, can anyone recommend a baby-friendly place to have a cuppa tea and cake, either city centre /Beeston/Lenton/Wollaton areas?

denz being new is still clean lol and has fab facilities and a reasonable cafe under 1's are free they is a seperate area for crawling non moving baby but you have to keep a sharp eye out for roaming toddlers!!!

i find cafe nero in beeston baby friendly bfing friendly has baby change faciliteis and nice staff as is the wetherspoons in beeston and longeaton big family area cheap coffee and cakes and baby changing facilites and very bfing friendly again very friendly staff

also the cafe based at the health centre in stapleford is good healthy home made food and very reasonable no one blinks an eye at bfing too
