Hi all,

I volunteered to look after this local site but I have been poorly so haven't done much!

I will be adding local details on in the next few days

Do you live in LE too JAM?

Ponka · 12/07/2007 20:00

Hello everyone. I live in Gedling in the north east of Nottingham. I have a 3 year old DS and a 15 month old DS. I'd definately be interested in a meet up in John Lewis or at one of the play places mentioned.

I work Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday so that works out quite well! If we are all to meet up though, it would have to be this Monday or Tuesday!

It'll be a quick one for me but I think I can do that. My two boys are very active and they would probably go nuts if I made them sit down for coffee for more than about half an hour!

dressedupnowheretogo · 14/07/2007 09:12

lol is there any where in the city centre more child friendly then ponka ???

am open to suggestions

No, don't worry. John Lewis is fine. I'm presuming we're still on for 10am are we?

Ponka · 15/07/2007 22:19

Mmmm. I'm just thinking it's quite late and I'm not sure anyone will be back here this evening. Sorry, I've not really been around over the weekend.

I'll tell you what. I'll come on here first thing tomorrow morning and unless there's a message that says no, I'll be there at 10am. The worst that can happen is that we end up having a drink on our own and we have a nice trip to see the fish and the teddy shop!

There's a pic of my boys on the profile. I'm 30 with long hair with a slightly redish tint. I'll either have my double nipper or a red single chico pushchair.

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/07/2007 06:53

right i'll be there

im 25 got black hair and i have a blue chicco pushchair

shall will meet outside the cafe or inside?

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/07/2007 07:53

Ponka · 16/07/2007 07:56

robinpud · 16/07/2007 08:00

Have a chocloate croissant and a coffee for me.. I am SO missing Jessops coffee shop.. and apparently they are putting a new one in on the fashion floor.
I am, mi duck, from nottinghma but currently in Sydney for a year!

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/07/2007 08:03

i know where id rather be robin pd

SueW · 16/07/2007 08:07

There's a John Lewis 'espresso' opened next to JL near the make-up entrance. Not actually part of the shop. Saw it yesterday - it was packed but The Place to Eat was quieter than I expected, especially since queues for Vic Centre car park were BAD yesterday.

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/07/2007 08:08

well i meant the place to eat

robinpud · 16/07/2007 08:09

Hmm, maybe all dressed up, but it is very very cold at the moment and the house has neither insulation or heating , plus my life is in Nottingham and I MISS IT! Admittedly there is a bit more sunshine here but it's not better on all fronts!

dressedupnowheretogo · 16/07/2007 08:10

well robinpud i hope yo enjoy it any way
