Hello

Just popping in and saw thread already full up! The craziness of November is well and truly under way. Sorry I'm behind on your news, hope everyone is well.

The scarf video, I thought she was going to hang herself for the final tie Grin

Still undecided about floor, have got loads of samples ordered. I want a fresh, modern look whereas Dh wants more clinical, utlitarian (sp?) look, need to find something that we both like Hmm

Btw, I got these fleece welly liners for the boys for winter, rather than specific snow boots. They are v warm & fit well

Fools that we are, after not much sleep we got up early to go to dd's concert, then off to Kingston for a spot of Christmas shopping, glad to report all returned safe well and reasonably sane Grin

And I went up to some guy and asked for his phone number, he his the singing teacher Blush it might happen Wink

I would very much like to, the guy teaches the kids at Kew Young musician but also gives lessons at peoples houses if they have a piano or somewhere in Edgware. At present my priority is get a job and hopefully dh find something too, then that will be my first call, it is now or never, life is too short

copper will definitely consider some arrangement he is a very nice boy, just need some spare cash.
I was chatting to one of the music teacher I know and she asked if I played an instrument, I said only as a child but that my wish and terror would be to sing, she said, she said to go for it and dragged me over to the singing teacher Grin
we had a very nice chat and he gave me his number

Sfx, that's great, you have to do it. I miss singing & playing music a lot actually Sad. I've started playing the clarinet again, but only once a month at the family Mass. Would love to join a group or orchestra but just don't have the time atm!

Kew, glad the party went well, even if it was soft play! We've avoided the party dilemma for ds1 next year, we're taking them away in the half term instead

Dd woke up at around 2am saying she felt sick, no sick came but she did not settle until 5 thankfully by that time in our bed, she seems really bright this morning I had a lie in and feel shattered Hmm

I also love singing! And i play piano...i hope to get one, when we have a place we are not moving from :) i miss playing a lot, and kids love it!
I went to the community choir in DD1s school. It is really amazing! The teacher is very good, the songs are very interesting and sounds beautiful! I started to late this term, but next term i will catch up.

Copper, I copy ds1 whenever he gets whingey, sometimes it works & he stops, othertimes it just makes him worse

Went to Chiswick House today for the first time, was very nice despite the rain!

I am very lucky. My friends are all lovely. Some (including me) periodically exhibit some limited characteristics of nutters, but mostly they are lovely. Xmas Grin

NCIS quite fun really. Gone off that forensic girl who dresses up like Manga character though. Too contrived, even for NCIS.

Also in awe of being able to play clarinet. Tried once. Couldn't even make a sound...

I think it's really my own fault DS1 went on for so long. I guess I could have been more tolerant. But so tired ...

the trouble with NCIS is I quite like Mark Harmon but can't quite tolerate the one with the Italian name, he was annoying when he was in dark angel all those years ago, the doctor I like too

I think I was the short tempered one today, not much sleep, period due and pain on my neck and shoulder makes me want to scream, dd, bless her heat, told me she quite understands as when she is tired and has a headache she gets cranky too Grin she is such a lovely daughter

found out that the incident which closed The Quadrant in Richmond and caused a lot of disruption was caused by a car hitting 3 people Shock

frozen greetings

have been in playground selling raffle tickets, I do things like this to get me out of my comfort zone, but it costs me a lot it is almost physically painful the sort of anxiety it induces, but hey sort of survived and more to come, I really am a freak

on other news, dh announced our Christmas present would be a new telly Xmas Shock how did that happen? the man never watches telly totally random and bizarre, ours is at least 15yrs old but still works fineHmm maybe he has been replaced by a pod person
