Just popping in and saw thread already full up! The craziness of November is well and truly under way. Sorry I'm behind on your news, hope everyone is well.

Still undecided about floor, have got loads of samples ordered. I want a fresh, modern look whereas Dh wants more clinical, utlitarian (sp?) look, need to find something that we both like

My local library doesn't have it. LoveFilm have a free trial, I've signed up & will order it. Hopefully it will be here for Saturday!

KewC dont feel lonely about moving , we too are moving on Saturday! Very exited, finally we are going to have a little garden. My dad is coming tomorrow afternoon to help with everything as i didnt yet moved a finger on packing...
Sfx, might need some help from you...next weekend 24/25 any of these days if you can? ( if you already have plans then nevermind :) )

And the upcoming Saturday night looks like a lot of fun :)
We are staying here for a vacation, so would love to meet up in the gardens!

Hello! Work, and then swimming with kids. Exhausted. In fact, everyone is exhausted and having tantrums. Poor DS2 has a paper cut just under the nail. Ouch.

Finished "Salmon fishing in the Yemen". Odd book, but easy read and enjoyable.

Spent last night reading innovations catalogue. Shall stock up on special blinds-cleaning gloves, telescopic picker-upper, spider catchers and fridge-rotating tables. I love innovations catalogues.

copper Wednesday night I was reviewing my essay before emailing it, needed about 1-2hrs work. Dh was in the kitchen fiddling with a computer, suddenly a flash of light a loud bang laptop and some lights out, turns out all our sockets were out, including the fridge freezer one. at first we thought juts flip a switch but oh no, my laptop's battery is dead so I need to have it connected to the mains.
I called my neighbour and parked myself at her house until I finished and sent it, by that time it was past midnight. back home still no joy, but at least heating and lights were on. yesterday finally an electrician showed up, and sorted everything within 10 mins or so and obviously charged us a fortune

so glad I actually meant to send the essay that night instead of counting on an allnighter

Dh has downloaded film, but dvd is also on its way! Sfx, hope you can make it.

Saw Woman in Black last night, very good, very creepy, my friend & I were moving closer to each other through the film . DR was good, he's definitely got a career past HP

sfx - so what caused the loud bang then? It all sounds slightly scary.

tilly - they have a long bowl type thing that hangs off the door of your cupboard under the worktop so that you could just sweep all the bits and pieces into it and chuck them in the bin. That looks useful. Here. And the portable body scale looks useful.

I think I need to get a life. Shame they don't sell them.
