Not crazy about Chicago, mamama?

alipiggie - we're thinking of a move to Colorado when the boys get a bit older. My nephew is in Denver. What do you think of schools in the surrounding areas of Denver? Or other areas of Co for that matter, if you know.

alipiggie · 05/07/2007 03:59

Better late than never hope you all had/are having a great July 4th. Hot hot hot here in CO, mercury reached 95 at least. We had a bicycle parade and then bbq and a community pool. Fabbie day - all slightly "sunburnt" even with factor 50 constantly reapplied. Califrau, making ds2's bday cake tomorrow - Pirate Ship. So wishing your ds's many happy returns from Colorado. Ds2 here's decided that it's his birthday week, which he thinks is cool to share it with America. Enjoy the fireworks all and margaritas, champagne etc.

mamama · 05/07/2007 04:00

Oh, I love Chicago, Jabberwocky, I'm just in a crappy situation, that's all.

Night night all x

jabberwocky just xposted with you. Schools in Denver are not brilliant there are some good ones but check on the Denver school district website. Boulder Valley Schools are amazing - Blue Ribbon winners and schools of excellence. With Open Enrolment you can get your children into schools not in your "catchment" area. My little one starts at Mesa Elementary in a few weeks . Have a look at www.bvsd.orgAnd you can look at all the schools there. If you want to know more you can always contact me off line. Let me know. Colorado is a wonderful wonderful place to live. I adore it here.

colinandcaitlinsmommy · 05/07/2007 05:50

Welcome Twinmommytobe. Hi all. Busy night tonight. Missed it all, cause I've been looking at airfare and hotels in Boston for a fall trip. I hate planning trips. So much work. I also hate the 4th of July. All fireworks do is make me worry about everything catching fire, and wake the kids up. I guess I don't have to worry so much about fire here, as everything is green instead of brown and dry already. Bah Humbug!!!
