All this talk of new movers and schools has made me remember that we must reschedule the Xmas Meetup (cancelled due to snow/extreme minus temps).

So who is interested?

When?

Where?

(Kreecher HAS to come before she moves back to Blighty as I NEED to see photos of Yum Yum Franky)

Otherwise I am easy!

Has very nice yum cha in a Chinese across the road from the Bourse with Ruthchan and her family one lunch time.

Are we going to be able to do a couple of lunches so that we can both go along longtime?

Can I suggest Friday 4th March as one date, or is that too soon?

Ruthchan will you be able to come along with ds?

4th March is good for me. I checked my diary for the coming weeks and most lunchtimes are fine for me, if someone wants to such another, alternative day too.

I should be able to do that. Is it near the Brussels central station. That's the only place I've been to in Bxls Blush
I really did struggle in Bangkok with my loathing of Thai. There was only three things that I could eat, chicken and cashews, chicken friend rice thing and spring rolls. I think the fish sauce was the most disgusting. I can't bear fish, it makes me feel physically sick.
DD and DH would sit tucking into octopus, shrimp, squid, fish etc. and I'd sit looking green.

Kreecher are you coming by train? De Brouckere is v close, although there might be a station at the Bourse as well perhaps? I also don't like fish either, although I can eat cod as it doesn't really taste of anything. Looking forward to meeting you!

I'm going to reorganise my week to have lunch free on Thursdays and Fridays as it actually suits me better. If I wait until after 22 February I could do both! Can you tell I don't get out much at lunchtime? Wink

We can go to the same place on 22nd, or somewhere else? There is not a shortage of restaurants in central Brussels....Places between Rogier and the Bourse are great for me, as less travelling vs more eating time Wink
