Pamela - I’ve been quietly watching your threads - we share the exact same birthday, so it’s funny, I’ve always known and wondered about the significance of the lucky no7 too! But that aside, I’m so glad the op brought you some positive news. Onwards. Stay strong and rest well x

LAMPS1 · 08/07/2023 19:56

Your wonderful Prof B has a positive plan !
Thats very good news indeed and it’s wonderful to hear and share it with you, thank you for that.
Sleep well tonight Pamela. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts.

Such positive news and you look beautiful. xx

So pleased you have how and a bloody good chance at surviving.
The person holding the kitten is my miracle baby, my husband had an aggressive cancer that was diagnosed but his notes went back into storage so no one knew, we thought no news was good news, anyway due to the amount of chemotherapy we were told no more children then this little darling came along.
Life is precious 💞

Pamela, I stumbled across your story about a week ago and have been following your updates ever since. I hardly ever comment on any posts (more of a reader than a commenter) but felt compelled to say something.
You are a very brave and strong lady and I send you and your family all my positive thoughts and love.

JemimaTab · 08/07/2023 21:27

I so pleased to hear you had some positive news, and I hope you start to feel more comfortable over the weekend now you’ve had your op.
I had an op a few years back at a sister hospital to the HSC, and the staff were incredible - so kind and attentive, constantly popping in to check I had everything I needed, were there immediately when I pushed the button, and nothing was too much trouble. It helps to make you feel more human and really does make all the difference.

Belated happy birthday. My cousin was diagnosed at stage 4 and is up and out and about 2 months later. Doing everything she used to do. The start of chemo sounded hard, but two weeks in things took a better turn.

You seem incredibly brave and strong, and I hope the same outcome for you.

Yogity · 08/07/2023 21:28

Delighted to hear your latest update and see your lovely pictures. Belated happy birthday from back in NI. Those cakes look fab 💖

Cakes look amazing! Hope you have the appetite for a little nibble on something. The update sounds very positive indeed. Are you a tennis fan? If so maybe you can watch a little this afternoon.

@loulouljh I'm sure they'd find Pamela & Kerr a couple of seats!!
