Best update ever. It really sounds positive. Fingers crossed for chemo/ immuno to go ahead asap. I don't know if you've heard of Rick Simpson Oil ( he has a book and there are Facebook groups) it's saved many a cancer patient from the brink. I hope you are not too sore this evening. Personally I don't think oromorph is enough, it's too short acting x

Usually a lurker but wanted to make it known how many 'lurkers' are following your journey and praying for a miracle or at least for you to be comfortable and have precious time with your family.

So delighted to read your update. I can't imagine how much courage it took for you to decide to get on that plane to London, but your bravery and tenacity is really paying off. Your whole family must be bursting with pride. Thinking of you all. After everything you have been through over the last few days I do hope you have a chance to take things a bit easy for a day or two! Maybe you and Kerr can have a date night soon and watch a film together on your laptop?

I know the prospect of chemo on Wednesday must be daunting but the results can be nothing short of miraculous so I'm really happy that things are moving in the right direction.

Glad you have had some positive news OP - when my husband had drains they were always in for at least 3 days (just to reassure)
And sounds like they have a plan in place, stay positive, eat little & often &keep loving all those close to you 💙
