Like another poster I too have a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes reading your latest update. I am beyond ecstatic for you. Everything is going in the right direction and clearly your body is determined and strong. You're right, the collective support on this thread is doing a world of good. Encouraging you on, keeping your spirits high, I cannot express just how important it is to not let it mentally beat you and to stay positive, strong mind = a strong fight back. So this is why I am so glad we can be here to support you ❤️

Happy belated Birthday wishes Pamela. I'm so glad you took your second chance and went to London. You look so much brighter aready. 💐. I discharged myself years ago from a regional hospital in the northwest of Ireland after I had a massive haemorrhage secondary to Warfarin treatment after the Consultant Gynae told me she wasn't going to do anything for me! A lovely fantastic Consultant in Dublin, who trained in St. George's hospital London, saved my life by operating on me after I had 3 units of blood and various scans. His first words to me the next morning after I had surgery at 9.30pm the night before were: everything I touched was bleeding! So just a little bit scary.

Very positive news, Pamela. And goodness, what a turnaround to how things were a few days ago. Now, they're hoping for treatment to start on Wednesday. Immunotherapy too!!! (I've heard that treatment is really changing people's lives!!). Thank you Prof B for all the hard-work you do. It's amazing to see science improving all the time. I hope one day the big C finally gets eradicated with a cure.
