Lovely pic Pamela. Fingers crossed they keep on top of the pain xx

JemimaTab · 09/07/2023 22:11

After your update earlier today, I never would have thought you’d be able to get out to the park today. So that’s real progress, even if you felt it was a bit too much. I hope you have a more comfortable night, and things continue to progress tomorrow.

FudgeMcFlurry · 09/07/2023 22:17

Blimey very well done on getting out, that’s incredibly impressive and hopefully will help you sleep a bit better.

Like everyone else I really hope you have a more comfortable night and that the pain is nothing like before.

I’m new to Mumsnet (and a bit cynical of social media in general) but the enormous amount of love and support for you on this thread is humbling.

watermeloncougar · 09/07/2023 22:18

You're awesome! Honestly, that's brilliant that you got out in the fresh air. I hope you have a good sleep tonight and that the new week brings more progress

What a brave post - you are amazing Pamela. The smile on your face in that photo in the park illustrates your bravery perfectly. You are doing great!

dontdillydallytoolong · 09/07/2023 22:22

Wow…what a determined lady you are. So courageous and an example to us all. You really are inspirational. I pray that you have a more comfortable night. You still lol fantastic. Xx

Mumtofourandnomore · 09/07/2023 22:23

I’m glad the second half of your day was better than the first - well done on getting out, I’ve only had one hospital stay in my life and I felt quite institutionalised after a few days !

You look fab, I really hope tonight is more restful than last xx

Sweetashunni · 09/07/2023 22:23

I hope is isn’t shallow of me to say you’re a very beautiful woman! Glad you got some fresh air, I really hope tomorrow brings good news big or small, and that you get a reasonable nights sleep x

Onthelow · 09/07/2023 22:23

Wow you are still smiling and pushing forward. It sounds like it was hard but you did it!

idontknowwhattosay23 · 09/07/2023 22:25

Aw you have the loveliest warm smile! I'm glad you got out into the fresh air for a while, but I'm sorry it was a bit too far and uncomfortable.

Thinking of you this evening and praying you get the rest and sleep you need.

I also thinking it's staggering how you have brought so many people here together all in support and kindness, a rare thing these days!

misspollyplummer · 09/07/2023 22:26

Pamela, you are a total inspiration. Don't have much to add, but like others I am keeping you in my thoughts and really hoping you have a better night with less pain x

LeopardPuff · 09/07/2023 22:27

Coming out of the woodwork to wish you the very best... Have been reading your threads from the beginning and willing a positive outcome for you and your family, and to say that you still look bloody gorgeous and full of life and fight 🥊🥊

StartupRepair · 09/07/2023 22:28

I'm in awe of your resilience and courage, and you look beautiful in the wheelchair, all I see is your lovely face and smile. I really hope you manage to get some decent sleep tonight and some relief from pain.

That's a fantastic photo, Pamela. I am glad you got out to the park.
Wishing you a peaceful night's rest. X

LAMPS1 · 09/07/2023 22:41

You have so much fight in you and it’s admirable. This positive spirit of yours is fantastic …it will see you through this.

I would gladly stay awake all night if it meant you could rest and sleep without pain tonight, ready to face a new day.

Onewildandpreciouslife · 09/07/2023 22:42

Keep watch, dear Lord,
with those who wake, or watch, or weep this night,
and give your angels charge over those who sleep.

Cornishclio · 09/07/2023 22:43

You look great and getting out will lift your spirits. Fingers crossed for a better night. My DH had open heart surgery last year and struggled to get comfortable at night and ended up sleeping almost upright until his rib cage had healed. Can you try that?

mommatoone · 09/07/2023 22:44

Pamela- you are amazing x
