@Skinnermarink - I think he did see some scans but given how bad things were handled in Antrim he didn’t much trust things and also Pamela deteriorated quite a lot quite quickly.

Happy birthday, you wonderful, intelligent, beautiful person 💐you have such a gift for writing that I hope you will keep writing bits and pieces for your family for them to read during your surgery & treatment, when they can't sleep at night and so on. I so hope that the drains will do their job this weekend. Will be thinking of you.
