Happy Birthday Pamela. I haven't posted before but you're in my thoughts and prayers. I've followed your story from your first post and I'm in total awe of your courage, determination and sheer will. You're one tough lady to have made it to London and I'll be thinking of you today as you receive the surgery you so badly need.

Hello Pamela, I've been lurking on this thread since I first stumbled upon it last week. I haven't posted before, but I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday today and also to wish you well for your op, which I fervently hope will make you feel 100 times better. I will do my best to radiate healing white light all day today and, failing that, I shall keep everything crossed for you! Your story has really resonated with me, as it has with so many others, because I have watched some really close friends suffer in the same way. It seems to me that so many people, as well as having to deal with cancer and other life threatening/limiting illnesses, are also forced to suffer from TTT (Terminal Twat Twiddling) too, and instead of being able to access the diagnostic tests and scans they need in a timely manner, they've had to suffer endless delays and faffing with terribly detrimental consequences for both their physical condition and their mental health. I can't tell you how pleased I am that you have been able to access the level of care that we should all be able to expect and that despite everything you have found the courage to go for it. You are very brave and deserve to have the best possible outcome. My thoughts, love and prayers will be with you all day today lovely lady, as will those of everyone else who has read and commented on your story. Go get 'em girl!
