Hi Pamela,

I've been reading this from the start but first time posting. I've been cheering you on and wishing for the best outcome for you. I've never once doubted your story as you are just so genuine. I'm SO pleased you made it to London and now have great care and a chance at a longer life. Sending you positivity and really wishing you the very best that this treatment works. You seem like the nicest person and don't deserve any of this. Life can be so rubbish. Remember to take each small victory and celebrate it and cherish every little happy moment. Sending you loads of love and positivity xxx

Lndnmummy · 06/07/2023 20:45

Pamela I have two young boys and we all kept you in our evening prayers tonight at bedtime. You are seen, believed and we are all rooting for you. So hard.

My 4 year old said we should be singing happy birthday for you tomorrow. I said we will. He asked if we can have birthday cake. I said of course. We will be celebrating you in South East London tomorrow.

itme · 06/07/2023 20:46

Thinking of you, Pamela. I’ve been following your threads since the start but haven’t posted because I didn’t have anything useful to add. I still don’t but I wanted to wish you well for your op tomorrow. I hope it has a really positive outcome for you.

mcmooberry · 06/07/2023 20:49

Just back from work and very first thing was check to see you had made it to London ok so hooray for that! Was wondering if the journey might defeat you but no, you mustered the strength! Am so incredibly happy for you that you are surrounded by care, efficiency and expertise. I wonder if he is going to get decent biopsies of your cancer so see if any specific treatment can be used to help ( I looked him up and there seems to be options).

Sending much love and thoughts from Bracknell in Berkshire. xxx

(As an aside as a line has been drawn under it and it frankly shouldn't have been dignified by a response at all, am embarrassed about and for anybody who reported your thread, they clearly hadn't RTFT!)

May the morrow bring good news and may the stent give you some of your strength and health back xxx

Dappy55 · 06/07/2023 20:51

Best of luck and strength for tomorrow xxx

Thisweeksname · 06/07/2023 20:58

I’m so glad you’re in London, you’re amazing and I will be thinking of you tomorrow, I hope your operation goes well and you start to feel much more comfortable ❤ xxx

YukoandHiro · 06/07/2023 21:04

I'm here in London sending my best wishes and thoughts to you in the hospital. Will be thinking of you for the op tomorrow. Hopefully just the very first step.

You said you would like to see positive photos. This perhaps might seem quite ordinary. But these cats are rescue siamese from different places and adopted at different times. The large one (bottom of photo) has been with us since Dec 2019. He was the youngest of 11 well-loved Siamese rescued and he is a lilac point. Lovely soft boy, or at least he was until his sister arrived. May 2022. She is a tabby blue. Food starved and feisty. She doesnt do well with men and my son terrifies her. This is the 1st photo of her comfortable (with her brother) on my son's bed. Just today. This is one of the most positive photos ever and I send it with total love and thoughts. Wishing you well as always,x

BeetyAxe · 06/07/2023 21:14

I haven’t posted before but have been following your story. I’m from just down the road from you, Newtownabbey. I hope that tomorrow goes well. I’ll be driving past Antrim Hospital on Saturday, I’ll give them middle finger as I go past on your behalf!

Flatwhite23 · 06/07/2023 21:15

Hi Pamela…. You have inspired me to make my first ever Mumsnet post. I lost my father to bile duct cancer in 2015 and his symptoms were identical to your own. His treatment was also questionable 😢 Just wanted to send you all my love and support and I will be thinking of you tomorrow as you receive your stent. My own father had Bilirubin levels of over 400 before they agreed to stent him and was gravely ill. He slowly improved after and his Jaundice decreased greatly. Thinking of you xx

HaveYouHeardOfARoadAtlas · 06/07/2023 21:23

Thought I’d post a picture from my walk yesterday. Not sure what the views are like it your window in London but I suspect not much greenery. Hopefully you will be enjoying walks outside in the fresh air again soon.

Pamela, wishing you all the best for tomorrow. You are amazing to have got yourself to London, what a strong woman you are.❤️

catsandkid · 06/07/2023 21:30

I'm so very pleased you are getting the treatment and care you deserve in London Pamela. I am sending you all my positive thoughts and often find myself thinking of you and your lovely family during the day.

I hope you get some real rest tonight ahead of your big day tomorrow (and hope Kerr gets a better night too!).

How is Jacob getting on back home? I'm sure he and your mum are supporting each other well. X

EpicChaos · 06/07/2023 21:32

@Hebditch Teddy is just gorgeous. The same applies to @supersop60 's doggy, @Showerscraper 's butterflies, sitting on thistles, so a nice nod to Pamelas' heritage there imo, @Silkierabbit 's snuggly puddy tat, @Iloveringos puppy Willow, 2 more luvverly puddy tats from @thelionthewitchtheaudacityofTHISbitch and Lola belonging to @thatbloodyhedge - can't seem to find them on the list of thread participants but nonetheless... Anyhoo, I can't speak for Pamela but i certainly enjoyed looking at the pet pics, as well as all the other pics people have posted.

beachbum85 · 06/07/2023 21:35

Also not posted yet - but have been following and praying for you. It's a horrible disease of which I have some experience, (family member). Have been willing you on and am in an odd way grateful for your honesty and for sharing this with us. Sending love for tomorrow, (from London).
