With a DH that is 42?

Previous two in early 30s but feel I'm pushing my luck.

The combo of me above 35 and DH above 40 seems to scare me but my heart tells me to go for it while my head tells my heart to be quiet!

I don't think 37 would be old to me. That said. DH is 3 years older and wants to be done by 40. He says it's cause of the challenges he saw his parents deal with being older parents. They had his youngest sibling at 43, and 48.

I think of you have the desire and your body is able then go for it.

Well I had my first at 37 and my second at just turned 40.

Things took longer than hoped for regarding getting pregnant but I had smooth pregnancies and never, for even one moment, felt I was too old.

For me it would be, I'm very much enjoying getting a small bit of independence back now mine are a bit older, but it’s such a personal thing. Good luck with whichever you choose

Seems to be more the "norm" these days

My mum had 4 children, though there is 15 years between 2 and 3 and 6 years between 3 and 4, she always says it was like having 2 families growing up in different eras

I had my first at 37!

I had my 3 kids aged 35, 37 and 40.

My youngest is now 17. and I am 58.

I don't regret it at all. We haven't had a lot of family help, but my parents do babysit sometimes.

I alwyas wnated 3, so did dh, and we knew after 2 that we weren't finished, so delighted to have no 3.

yes we had less energy than when we were 25, but we had experience and a bit of maturity, so it is swings and roundabouts.
