IVF May 2026 - Transfers

Anyone else having embryo transfers next month and preparing now?

My thoughts are with you all in the 2WW! It’s impossible to not go a bit insane. Sending all the luck - @MocktailMe eee that’s exciting to see a VFL.

Got the blood test results back this afternoon and it’s positive 🥹 our first scan is on 8 June. Trying not to just wish away the days till that now

@TheMintCrab congrats ❤️ that’s great news! Will they do any more bloods or are they happy with the levels? I’ve booked a scan for the 5th 🙈 feels like such a long time away doesn’t!

@MocktailMe 🙏🙏🙏 sounds very promising and so early to get a line!! I hope it continues to get darker for you! Keep us updated x

Thank you @Ellenn 💛💛 they've not mentioned about doing anymore, have you done multiple blood tests? I wouldn't mind doing another one myself in a couple of days just for reassurance but they haven't suggested it. Are you feeling any symptoms? I'm just quite tired and am already finding some of my clothes too tight!!

@MocktailMean exciting start and really hope this is your baby 💫. I am just debating my own testing strategy… swinging between wanting to test early or wait until the test date. My test date is Friday 12 June and I have a busy day, followed by a wedding on the Saturday & Sunday where I’m maid of honour. Just debating if testing early would give me more grace period to process if it’s bad news. But I would probably still cling on hope until the test date so would no doubt still come down with a bump.

i am so happy for you!!! can totally understand the hesitancy until the scan, IVF really takes a number on you showing any joy but please make sure you do 🤍 This is an amazing moment for you and your partner xx

wow this is a lot of pressure on you with the wedding, its such a tough call for you. everything really does come at once.
Personal experience as i said testing early consumed me- perhaps for yourself it may be worth testing the day before to give yourself a day to compose yourself! lets go positive, that day is for you to enjoy the joy and get your poker face on at the baby your growing 🤍🤍

8dp4dt today and stupidly took a test. BFN, feeling mega defeated. People keep telling me its too early but feel really miserable. Beta hcg test on Friday.

Yeah, I'm lucky to have 6 on ice. Just disappointing. Hoping the clinic will recommend some embryo testing before we go again, preferably on the NHS as its pricey privately.

Im so sorry, sending a big hug. It’s not over until it’s over though, give yourself some grace over the next couple of days, there’s a reason they tell us to test 14 days later, you could just have a late line show you never know! X

@LifeOfRiley63 I'm really sorry to hear this transfer hasn't worked please be kind to yourself. I also have 6 remaining on ice so I understand how it is to feel so lucky and blessed on one hand, but so devastated in the moment.

@LifeOfRiley63 I’m so sorry to hear this ❤️‍🩹 thinking of you. At least you’ll be able to get some resolution and be able to move forward at the blood test tomorrow. And that is great you have so many frozen embryos, you’ve got a really good shot at this happening soon but I’m sorry if it’s not now.

I can't wait to get to my OTD and be able to report a positive 🥹 still have 6 long days to go, as the OTD is the full two weeks after transfer.

I knew I would do it …but kept telling myself I wouldn’t… but I’m off work today and bored and it happened! I peed on a stick and got a faint line at 8dpt 🥺

I am 11dpt. Trying to hold out to Sunday. Since day 9 I have had really heavy period pains. Anyone else? Really feels like AF is in route, but then it comes and goes. It’s like a really heavy feeling in my pelvis and back.

@BeigeandGreige congrats!!! I also caved at 8dp5dt its too long a wait isnt it 🙈

@Greentiles67 i don’t think its necessarily bad having pains as i felt that heaviness and had pain before I got a positive! Also think the progesterone seems to make you feel like your period is imminent! You haven’t got long to wait!! 🤞🤞

I’ve had the same @Greentiles67 . It comes in waves in my lower back and lower abdomen and is very on and off. Lasts a few hours then goes then returns the next day.
