Thanks ladies. The embryo thawed well and was hatching when they did the transfer which is a good sign.

Honestly though it is very hard for me to believe this will work. I am trying to hold onto some hope, but it is tough.

Feeling this too chick. Major pessimist in me went into this cycle thinking "Nope, not gonna work". I get tiny glimmers of hope but they pass. Almost like I'm working overtime guarding my heart.

It will be a hard wait for sure! Keep busy and keep your mind busy!

May be a silly question, but with this nice weather coming up is anyone cautious about sitting out in the sun after transfer? I have read and been told different things…

I've not heard of this, if anything I think the heat will help us incubate better!

I didn’t either until yesterday!!

I have read that we shouldn’t be increasing our core body temperature. So you can sit in it but don't get ‘too hot or sweat’ some sites say?!

I also would have thought the Vitamin D would be helpful?!

I suppose just do it carefully in moderation or sit in the shade?! Because it is going to be HOT!

We live in England, I don't have the courage to sit and sunbathe in a cozzie outside 😆

Negative this morning, clinic have advised that it is most likely a failed transfer. Wishing you all the best of luck.

Hello ladies. Can I ask if any of you have noticed mood issues from taking oestrogen / progynova? I’m taking 2mg 4 times a day (upped from 3 times a day) for a fully medicated FET and I’m really not feeling myself.

Initially I was very depressed and weepy - someone asking “how’s your week looking” nearly set me off. Now I’m feeling really reactive, I’m even arguing in my dreams! Everyone is driving me mad, including myself. I’ve also had sore swollen boobs and abdominal bloating. I had lots of EWCM and was worried I might be ovulating but everything looked ok on the scan.

Initially I thought it might be bad memories from everything to get me to this point (endometriosis and then had a miscarriage) but I feel like the oestrogen is making me a bit mad. I actually felt in a good place about everything before I started. I had a low key background headache the first week as well.

My oestrogen went extremely high during the egg retrieval and I did have a crash after. Have any of you ladies felt any crash after stopping the medication?

Feels overwhelming to imagine this will be the first FET and I may have to keep turning back into this person 🤦🏻‍♀️ . My crazy alter ego!

TheMintCrab · 25/05/2026 16:30

Hello! I actually did feel my mood change during the first week of taking progynova - so much so that I sank into a real pit of despair that the transfer wasn’t going to work/ took it out on my partner and started a huge barney with him/ was basically inconsolable for 2 days. I did then stabilise (it seemed to be a weird peak about 3 days after starting) and then since adding in cyclogest after 10 days on just the progynova have felt way more normal and actually quite calm.

Not sure what to make of it all except that my body seems to have an adverse emotional reaction to the introduction of estrogen but that progesterone seemingly helps my mood….? Hoping that things stabilise for you too

TheMintCrab · 25/05/2026 16:31

I’m also still incredibly bloated though :/

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 25/05/2026 18:11

Thank you so much @TheMintCrab💕. Yes honestly I felt awful the first few days and couldn’t summon any positivity. And yes that peaked about 4 days in for me too, now I’m apparently just really lairy 😂. Fingers crossed the progesterone levels me out too, I was dreading what may come next!

I hope all goes well at your blood test tomorrow 💫

MocktailMe · 25/05/2026 19:15

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite I'm a nightmare every single time I'm on drugs. Argumentative, weepy. I cry all the time when I'm alone and I'm combative whenever I'm with people. I GENUINLEY can't help it, and whenever I stop taking the drugs it's like a fog lifts.

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 25/05/2026 19:57

@MocktailMethank you so sorry to hear you have the same thing but it’s reassuring to hear I’m not losing the plot. I completely relate, I’m sad alone but then completely intolerant of anyone around me! I told my DH I’m not myself and even arguing in my dreams last night, he then shared I was shouting in my sleep and it woke him up last night 🤣

BeigeandGreige · 26/05/2026 08:56

How is everyone feeling today?

I am 5dpt, the dreams are crazy and like the above my moods are all over the place! 🤣🤣
I’m currently only on x 3 cyclogest a day but the mood is very up and down!

Still holding out on doing a text until the weekend at least!

Greentiles67 · 26/05/2026 11:22

So sorry to hear @Azahar8 and @WanOvaryKenobi there are no words… just time to find the strength to lift yourself back up. ❤️

Greentiles67 · 26/05/2026 11:28

I found norethisterone the worst before egg retrieval - I felt sooo flat and depressed.

I am 8dpt and I am feeling a bit low. Not sure if the progesterone is levelling out now. I get the being alone vs being with people. Alone, I am terrible 😭 with people, I’m irritable - can’t win.
I’ve cried a lot about getting older recently and every transfer that doesn’t work just means im
losing time. I am notorious for worrying about things I can’t control!

Keep on, keeping on ladies 🙏🏻🙏🏻

9 days today, i have been good completley different from last time which may be due to not being on any medication, havent tested early which for me i think has been better choice than last time as i havent spiralled (yet atleast)

I will be 9dpt on Saturday and we have a wedding… brilliant! lol xx

MocktailMe · 26/05/2026 14:48

I have been completely unrestrained with testing, I knew I wouldn't be able to help myself!!!!

I've got a VFL on FRER this morning 4dp5dt, and an absolute squinter on a one step. I am so hopeful this could finally be my baby that comes home but after so many losses I am scared too.

Have you started progesterone yet? I felt that levelled me out after all the estrogen.
