Is anyone planning a fresh cycle in March? It would be lovely to have some cycle buddies to share all the highs and lows of this whole process as we have been pretty private and not told any friends or family. I have been down regulating most of February and finally got the green light to start stims on the 28th with egg retrieval provisionally booked for Friday 13th March. Thankfully I’m not superstitious 😂😂 then planning for a fresh transfer if all goes to plan and we have an embryo 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Congrats @Miraclemuma03! one step closer 😊

@sunflower1906 Nothing to freeze for me unfortunately. And my lining wasn’t optimum so feeling like we’ve potentially wasted our only embryo. The consultant did give us the option to freeze, but he said he recommended we continue because we would avoid the risk of the embryo not surviving the thaw.

CrumbleCake98 · 26/03/2026 13:49

@MocktailMe Good to hear you’ve got that in the calendar! And sounds like a very sensible plan - taking time to recover is so important, both physically and mentally. Hope you are doing ok!

2mumlife · 26/03/2026 16:18

@CrumbleCake98 Sorry to hear you had nothing to freeze. To be honest I think its more often than not that there isn't anything to freeze on day 6, but was remaining positive for you.

@MocktailMe Definitely get in some R&R

Our last little embaby defrosted and was transferred earlier today. Very weird thinking this little embryo was frozen back in 2021 and feel a bit like whatever happens its been predestined for years essentially.

Its strange going back to the same clinic over several years. They have introduced new 'goodybags' after transfer. Feels really quite odd being given a bag with jammie dodgers, hand cream and a pineapple pin. I sort of get its a little encouragement for self care, but I do wonder whether those going back for multiple transfers would begin to resent those little gift bags over time? I'm not sure.

They've also changed how long they want you to wait! They always used to test on 10dp5dt and now they've changed it to 13dp5dt which would make my OTD wedensday 8th. Lots of debate with the wife whether we test on day 10 or 13. But my superstition is to wait until OTD, so a longer wait it is I guess. They also didn't give a pregnancy test, and the only 1 we have in the house is a CB digital that expired in 2024 😶I think I'm going to wait and see if I actually make it to OTD before buying any more tests though.

Honestly, can't beleive they've extended the OTD. I think its because they are really cutting back on going hcg tests, so less CPs are going to be picked up I guess

MocktailMe · 26/03/2026 16:53

I think that's entirely the reason. I suppose I understand - they don't want to have to make and undo care plans so early in the game, nor do they want anxious women on the phone calling to say their lines are getting fainter. As such....just tell us to wait, don't test, keep pumping drugs and sit tight!!!

At my clinic OTD is 13dp5dt, but without a bleed you have to stay on the drugs until 15dp5dt - no matter what the test says.

I think it's indicative of treating patients as a number honestly. I understand it, but I also resent it.

2mumlife · 26/03/2026 17:26

@MocktailMe "keep pumping drugs and sit tight" sounds right 😂 thats pretty hideous they say to keep taking it even longer at your clinic if no bleed, as if its noit positive at 13dp5dt its never going to be.

How is everyone holding up? I think there is a couple of us due to test over the next few days?

day 10 for me today. I’ve had a little pain in my back and started spotting (light pink) when I wipe this evening. Don’t know if this is good or bad because I would have assumed implantation would have happened by now if it was to happen at all. Also today is the day that my period would be due, so again, good or bad I don’t know but you can’t help but worry.

its very frustrating though because I know should I get a positive tomorrow my mind will still be racing questioning the spotting. But then we can only take one thing at a time!

I just wondered what everyone’s progesterone dosage was like and if their clinic tested levels? My clinic doesn’t but I’m on X3 cyclogest a day

MocktailMe · 27/03/2026 07:07

My clinic did not test levels, I was on 3 cyclogest a day, and every third day and injection of lubion.

The first transfer I was only on 2 cyclogest a day, so it was increased this time round.

That’s interesting. Thank you. My partner was on 2 cyclogest on her first round where we had the positive but then a big bleed around week 5/6. It was a weekend and I always wonder if more progesterone would have helped. Since then they upped it to 3 for both of her next transfers (both negative) and for my first - this round. I always wondered why some people have injections and some don’t and why clinics don’t check levels.

Just to advise I did my test and did get the BFP we so desperately want but remaining just cautiously optimistic at this stage, both due to how early it is and also due to my continued period like cramping and spotting. 🤞

Im on 800mg of utrogestan pessaries a day. I really dont like them. They are little tablet like things you have to insert with your fingers and its messy and they are very messy . I so far have cramping, bloating, sore nipples, tired and hungry lol.

Im so excited for you. What great news. I completely understand about being cautious with your excitement and feelings. Loss and failure make a positive hard to feel excited for but try to remember that this is a new pregnancy, and your allowed to be happy and be in that pregnancy bubble as much as you can.

BellaTink647 · 27/03/2026 10:40

@wishinghard2 I'm on x3 cyclogest a day. My clinic tested progesterone levels the day before transfer, and would have increased if it was low. Luckily for both my transfers my levels have been nice and high. Unfortunately that didn't stop a miscarriage after my first transfer :(

A week since my transfer today and test day isn't until Thursday 2nd. Have of course thought about testing early but i don't think I will... I don't want to have any doubt that the result whatever it is. Going to be a long week though!

LifeOfRiley63 · 27/03/2026 10:47

I am 9dp5dt today and went to the clinic for my beta test this morning. A phone has never been more watched than mine is right now.

Lovelesslily · 27/03/2026 10:59

Had my FET yesterday (Thursday 26th) and did the whole Mcdonalds fries routine for luck 🤞🤞

Also had my progesterone blood test results and mine is very good so I do not need to add in the injections - seems to add weight to the idea that I did ovulate despite the estrogen! If this doesn't work I'm definitely going to try looking into that as something odd going on with my ovulation for sure...

Now onto a week of analysing every twinge and ache 😅🤞🤞

I find the different ways in which different clinics do/don’t monitor progesterone so interesting. In truth, I wish my clinic monitored more.

@LifeOfRiley63 keeping everything crossed you begin to a positive result! I also wish my clinic did BETA tests.

wishing everyone else look who is in their TWW or waiting for a transfer.

My actual test date is not until Sunday which is when we will tell the clinic which is 13DPT. Spotting has seemed to settle down and not had any more so far today 🤞 so keeping those fingers and toes crossed.

Trigger……image is test results from this morning which I appreciate can be sensitive at this time so only for anyone if interested on line at 11DP5DT.

Sending Baby Dust to you all.

Did you not get the applicator with them? I have always used the applicator with utrogestan. It is much easier.

I'm out. Beta came back negative

MocktailMe · 27/03/2026 16:07

So sorry @LifeOfRiley63 it is so hard after all we go through.

I'll be going again in May, so if you will be going again there will be a new thread to keep the support going.

I know all too well no words make this feeling any better, I hope you can find whatever you need to do to get through today x

I actually much prefer utrogestsan to cyclogest to be honest! But I used the applicators @Miraclemuma03

My clinic used to always do 5 days of lubion before transfer but they’ve changed it now to more cyclogest (so 3 instead of 2) and they don’t test levels.

@wishinghard2 Congrats! You’ve mentioned lots of things I remember from my positive cycles, including the spotting! I had a SCH with my DD and some light spotting with my DS so try not to worry too much.

Saw my folks today which was a good distraction though an alarm went off on my phone and my daughter loudly said “that’s your drug alarm!” 🤦‍♀️ just quickly changed the conversation.

By some miracle my children actually let me have a good 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night which I’m hoping is conducive to implantation!

Iloveyellow101 · 27/03/2026 21:38

I tested early but really at this stage … you’d know.
my OTD is Sunday however I already know. I’m definitely big big out. My 5th and final transfer!
wishing you all the best ❤️
