Is anyone planning a fresh cycle in March? It would be lovely to have some cycle buddies to share all the highs and lows of this whole process as we have been pretty private and not told any friends or family. I have been down regulating most of February and finally got the green light to start stims on the 28th with egg retrieval provisionally booked for Friday 13th March. Thankfully I’m not superstitious 😂😂 then planning for a fresh transfer if all goes to plan and we have an embryo 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I tested early but really at this stage … you’d know.
my OTD is Sunday however I already know. I’m definitely big big out. My 5th and final transfer!
wishing you all the best ❤️

How many dpt were you when you tested and how many dpt will you be on official test day? Could be early still.

Miraclemuma03 · 28/03/2026 01:20

So no news is good news im told. I didnt hear anything about my embryos yesterday so im assuming they are still going. I wont know anything now until I get to the clinic on monday or maybe on the drive there.

2mumlife · 28/03/2026 06:30

@Miraclemuma03 I hate the anxiety of waiting for a phone call not to happen if that makes sense. Keeping everything crossed for you

sunflower1906 · 28/03/2026 09:38

Just catching up on everything as been back to work the last 2 days and not had much time for much else, the distraction was sooooo welcome though!

@CrumbleCake98 so sorry to hear you also had nothing to freeze it really is a kick in the teeth after all we have been through to get to that point, I think if I’m in the same position in the future im going to ask for a double transfer instead of them discarding one that’s a bit behind as seems a shame not to give it a chance. I hope the TWW goes quickly for you and you get your positive outcome 🤞🏼

@wishinghard2 massive congratulations and wow that line is so impressive, I hope the spotting has subsided and you can try to enjoy your BFP ❤️

@LifeOfRiley63 I’m so sorry your beta was negative it’s just so cruel, please look after yourself at this difficult time, sending love your way xx

@Iloveyellow101 sorry to hear your tests have been negative how many DPT are you? I get what you mean though when u know u know im so sorry 😥

@Miraclemuma03 totally agree that no news is good news wishing u all the best for transfer on Monday. I used to be on utrogestan and they came with individual applicators to help get it right up there so to speak 😂😂

today I am so sick with anxiety and worry about testing tomorrow, I’ve already started trying to come up with positives if it’s negative like stopping medication as I’m on a lot 🙈 and starting my running and Pilates again as I’ve given these up for walks since stims and I do miss them, trying to find silver linings in dark places I guess ….

hope everyone is doing ok xx

@sunflower1906 @Miraclemuma03 I was 8dp5dt - official test day tomorrow!

I saw a faint line from day 5 but the line just stayed the same and there was no progression at all.

I don’t think it’s too early - I should’ve got a line that was visible / had made progress from day5. I didn’t bother test yesterday or today and am just counting myself out.

going to try and relax and hopefully it happens naturally (doubt this as we’re TTC Year 6 now and the natural pregnancies have ended in TFMR and miscarriage at 10 weeks)

so…yeah. A bit flat but also trying to just take each day as it comes

2mumlife · 28/03/2026 19:58

@sunflower1906 Good luck for test day tomorrow 🤞🤞

@Iloveyellow101 I really hope your test tomorrow surprises you xxxx

Im so sorry. Yes I agree at this point if it had worked there should be some sort of line. It sounds like a difficult journey so far.

I wish you all the luck with your testing. Have you had any sort of positive signs that might sway you into thinking it might have worked?

wishinghard2 · 29/03/2026 00:33

@LifeOfRiley63 oh I am so sorry to hear this. Please be kind and look after yourself. Do you have any plans to re set and go again?

@Iloveyellow101 I am keeping everything crossed that your test tomorrow gives you some happy news.

@sunflower1906 I completely get the anxiety and worry. To be honest, the whole journey is filled with it and it’s such a physical and emotionally draining process with a rollercoaster of emotions. I hope soooo much that your tests tomorrow brings joy and I’ll be thinking of you.

@Coffeeandbooks88 a progesterone applicator sounds like a brilliant idea. I wish mine came with one! It’s not even something that has crossed my mind!

@Miraclemuma03 no news being good news is defo the way I would look at things at this stage. What days do your clinic check the embryos? Ours do not have a day 3 check so just the day 1 for fertilisation and then leave it for day 5.

@2mumlife sounds like you are managing to keep yourself busy and well distracted over the weekend. How have you been finding the meds so far?

Sorry if I have missed anyone!

I have had a bit of a lazy day today but this evening I went to B&Q and then over to IKEA and then I came home and slept for about 4 hours curled up with the dog so of course, I am now awake at stupid o clock at night……but least the dogs still sleeping :) I have been keeping my mind busy as we are also in the middle of planning our wedding for May next year which partly feels crazy with everything going on on and partly means I have a really nice distraction! Still spotting but seems to mostly be after progesterone insertion so I am putting it down to irritation, or at least hoping it is that anyway.

sending baby dust to you all!

Im not actually sure when they do their checks all i know os we also dont get a day 3 update. We get a day 1 update with the fertilisation and then thats all for me because I will most likely already be at the clinic before they actually ring me with any update so if I end up with nothing to transfer I would essentially have driven over 2hrs to the clinic for no reason.

Greentiles67 · 29/03/2026 08:39

Hi everyone,
I’m officially losing my mind at this point. I’m 8dpt5dt and I’ve had a headache for two days, which is a classic AF symptom for me every month. No amount of water fixes it and I’m incredibly cranky—again, a classic sign.
I just want to test now. At least if it’s a BFN, AF can do her thing and I can reset. I really don’t want to test early, but I also don't want to keep taking the progesterone if it hasn't worked.
One silver lining: the bloat and gas from the progesterone have finally settled. I haven't had much cramping, just definite ‘zaps’ of discomfort on both sides, which I’m putting down to my poor ovaries healing! 🥲
It feels like life is on pause. I feel silly for not booking a summer holiday yet; that little voice in my head keeps saying "but what if you're pregnant?" I feel like if I just parked that and planned something, the disappointment wouldn’t be as bad... but I’m just so confused.
I’m also avoiding people, which probably doesn't help. I'm just so distracted—this is all I’m thinking about. Plus, I really don't want a Spanish Inquisition over why I’m ordering decaf or turning down Prosecco!
These synthetic hormones are definitely not the one. 😂 Thanks for letting me vent, it's really helping to read everyone's updates.

2mumlife · 29/03/2026 12:36

@wishinghard2 Trying to stay distracted. I forgot how hyper aware you become of every tiny twinge though 🤦‍♀️ still finding the cyclogest is causing some diarrhoea, never had that happen before it’s really annoying. Other than that all good. I hope the spotting settles down for you. The tiredness is good, I always found from about a week after testing positive I was absolutely knackered. Hope you got some sleep last night eventually

@Greentiles67 Keep holding out for OTD you’re nearly there! And book that summer holiday! You can totally go either way! I interviewed (and got) a new before my OTD with my daughter 😂 life has GOT to keep going despite TTC or you’ll go mad

sunflower1906 · 29/03/2026 14:54

So after having lots of symptoms that I thought this might have actually worked for once I got a BFN this morning I’m 11DP5DT so I’ve stopped all my meds and am looking to the future and starting a fresh cycle I guess around June/July time, hopefully with a better amount of eggs and embryos so will have to wait for my FU to see what we can change or do differently.

has anyone tried ovum fertility supplement? I think I’m going to switch to it and see if it helps at all, lol I’m always trying to change something hoping it will make a difference 😂 I guess my way of coping!

thank you all so much for your support it really means a lot 💐💐

@Greentiles67 please book that holiday!! You only live once and whatever happens happens but if you have nothing to look forward too life can become rather bleak. I booked a mini break to Portugal in may before this cycle and I’m so glad I have but either way still would have gone and enjoyed it pregnant or not … this time it’s not but for some reason I’m still remaining hopeful xx

tonight I’m ordering the biggest Chinese ever as I’ve not had one since may last year due to being gluten free for fertility reasons so sticking 2 fingers up at it and will reset tomorrow.

I really hope this is the lucky thread for others on here and will prob stick around till it dies down just to see how everyone else is getting on and the fact I’ve become rather attached to it ❤️

wishing everyone the very best of luck 😘😘

Wishing you all the best for your future cycles!

I was encouraged to take coq10 which I bought from natures best (I actually fell pregnant a few months after this naturally) - im not saying this was the reason but maybe have a look into it.

agree with you on all the support here. Really wishing everyone who got a BFP all the best. ❤️❤️❤️

SparklyGreenTiger · 29/03/2026 17:25

I’m so sorry @sunflower1906 it’s so so hard to get a negative after all the hoping and praying. A Chinese is a great idea, enjoy it all and reset when you’re ready. Please be kind to yourself. You’re doing so well.

I haven’t never tried Ovum but was recommended the ‘pre-Conceive’ supplement by Pillar Health Care if you’re looking to switch. I haven’t tried it personally as it’s very expensive but it’s meant to be good. Who knows.

wishinghard2 · 29/03/2026 19:51

@sunflower1906 i am so sorry to
hear this but i think the way you are handling it is an inspiration.

I don’t know if this will help at all. My part met had 3 collections, on her first 2 she only got 3 eggs, 2 were mature and 1 fertilised. On her 3rd collection they added bursarelin to the ovitrelle trigger shot. She got 9 eggs that round, 7 fertilised and it was the first time she got a 5 day blast.

on my collection the first one I just used ovitrelle, I got 10 eggs and only 4 were mature. My second collection I actually requested to have bursarelin with my trigger which resulted in 11 eggs but 10 were mature.

I think they don’t issue Bursarelin as standard but it may be worth asking your consultant about it. I think it helps with egg maturity. It’s also very cheap!

the other thing that was different on my second collection is that they put me on 5mg prescription folic acid.

I also took COQ10 and Vit D and drank a lot of beetroot juice!!!

wishing you all the best!

Miraclemuma03 · 29/03/2026 21:48

@sunflower1906 im so very sorry you got a negative test. Im happy you did something nice for yourself.

Miraclemuma03 · 30/03/2026 02:02

Not the news i was hoping for today. I had a morula transferred which is a little behind a blastocyst and my second embryo is firther behind that and I wont know until tomorrow If it will catch up . Im going to say possibly not. Anyone have any positive stories?

2mumlife · 30/03/2026 09:27

@sunflower1906 Sorry that you're out 🙁I took coenzyme q 10 and myoinisotol and did accupunture my second egg collection round which gave me more mature eggs and embryos (though we also changed protocol completely so I couldn't say which made the difference - I think I also had busserelin dual trigger like @wishinghard2 but to be honest this was 2021 and I don't totally remember ). I understand though wanting to feel like you're doing something to influence the result. Wishing you all the baby dust for your next egg collection, and hope the chinese was f'ing amazing 😆

@Miraclemuma03 A few hours can make a big difference in development. Hopefuly its just on its way to blastocyst and cosies on down now its transferred :)

MocktailMe · 30/03/2026 12:35

I used buserelin too, and got a great number of embryos, although obviously no luck with them just yet.

I've got my cycle review on Wednesday to discuss the protocol for my next FET in May. I've started bleeding now (at last - a full week after I started testing negative) and I'm really ready to move forwards with the process.

CrumbleCake98 · 30/03/2026 13:53

@sunflower1906 im so sorry you got a negative! We were clearly all rooting for you!! Hopefully the Chinese as excellent and you get a good plan out of your follow up.

@Miraclemuma03 congrats on your transfer!! And when I was in your position I did google and find positive stories of embryos making it on day 6 - hopefully yours will be one of them!

@Greentiles67 you’ve done so well not testing early, not long to go now. and another vote for book the holiday!!

I’m 5dp5dt and did the silly thing of testing this morning and got a negative, trying not to spiral. I know it’s too early to be definitive and I should have waited but I couldn’t stop myself! I’m now telling myself atleast I know the trigger is fully out of my system - so it wasn’t totally useless.

2mumlife · 30/03/2026 15:34

@CrumbleCake98 Its still very early days a 5dp5dt. I always think that if you can avoid the temptation to test with your FMU then its easier to resist the rest of the day. I told DW to hide the only pregnancy test we have in the house just in case I get tempted😂

@MocktailMe It sounds like you have a plan. Hope the consultation on Wednesday feels constructive

CrumbleCake98 · 30/03/2026 17:24

@2mumlife yes I foolishly tested first thing. Must be stronger tomorrow! This is my first round of ivf and strangely didn’t find the wait post egg retrieval too bad because it was totally out of my hands. Now that it’s all down to my body to behave and keep my only little embryo safe and growing it feels like a lot more pressure.

Vil · 30/03/2026 21:10

I got a stark negative at 5dpt and a positive at 8dpt @CrumbleCake98

hoping you have the same! 5 days is probably too early xxx

2mumlife · 30/03/2026 23:07

@CrumbleCake98 I’d really try not to think of it as your body having to keep it safe. Your body is drugged to high heaven to make it a receptive place for an embryo, but that embryo needs to be viable. If it doesn’t take, try to frame it as it being not the right embryo rather than your body doing anything wrong. Your body has got this 💪
