IVF march 2026

Is anyone planning a fresh cycle in March? It would be lovely to have some cycle buddies to share all the highs and lows of this whole process as we have been pretty private and not told any friends or family. I have been down regulating most of February and finally got the green light to start stims on the 28th with egg retrieval provisionally booked for Friday 13th March. Thankfully I’m not superstitious 😂😂 then planning for a fresh transfer if all goes to plan and we have an embryo 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@SparklyGreenTiger I know seeing numbers drop can be so disappointing but I am so pleased you got more than one embryo and that you have managed to have your transfer. Welcome to the TWW.

My cramps stopped in the evening of 6DPT and 7DPT I went the whole day without any, but boy did they kick in at night, it was actually painful and my only escape from them was sleep. It was like an awful period and I was convinced my period was starting when I work up to light pink spotting with the cramps last night. But today is a new day and it’s 8DPT with no more spotting or painful cramps. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing! Especially when my period would normally be due any day now!

Anyway, a step closer to my clinics exceptionally long test date at 13DPT.

@MocktailMe Sorry to hear about the CP. My first ever pregnancy was a CP and it does feel really cruel. My clinic at the time though said it was a good sign I could get pregnant though and just needed the right embryo. My next one stuck for good. Wishing you all the luck next time 🤞

Good god I know I said earlier I don’t normally get many side effects but I’m now understanding what you al mean about the farts 💨 🫣 Clinic phoned today with our time for transfer on Thursday. Hoping we’ll all be well enough as the lurgy is circling the house at the moment 😩

So a bit of disappointment for me today. I only had 2 eggs retrieved. Feeling really deflated. We stopped for lunch at our favourite restaurant, and i did some shopping at coscto. Heading home to have a cuppa and go to bed and wallow a little in my own disappointment. Find out in the morning if I have any fertilise which im preparing myself for the worst outcome. How is everyone else going?

I am climbing the walls with impatience for beta test on Friday. Given DH all my HCG tests to hide.

I think even ChatGPT is bored of me asking questions to distract from the wait! How many days after FET do your clinic test?

It'll be 9 days post fresh transfer, but that's as its a Friday, so I might have to go back on Monday again. And I hear you on ChatGPT, although its so sympathetic!

I hope this cycle gets you your baby to complete your family ❤️ I'm ok thanks, hanging in there. We are still at the beginning (first egg collection cycle last summer and first transfer in February) but I am already feeling the pressure and it's hard to believe everything will work out! It's such a hard journey and I hope all of us get our baby in our arms soon!!!!

Also climbing the walls and googling every little twinge/symptom feel like I’m going insane and I just want to be put out of my misery if I’m honest. One minute I let myself think this might have actually worked and then I feel stupid for thinking I could actually be that lucky and be the person it works for. I have a gut feeling it’s not worked this time for us 😥😥 still haven’t even brought a test as I feel like such an imposter for even buying one.

I picked up a test this morning with plans to test on Friday. My test date is Sunday but by Friday I’ll be 11DPT and figured it should tell me one way or another by then and if it’s negative it will give me the weekend to process and re set before work Monday.

@Miraclemuma03 I'm sorry your egg collection wasn't what you were hoping. I only had 2 mature eggs my first egg collection, and both made beautiful day 5 embryos, so its too early to be ruling out a transfer yet 💚

Sending patient and positive vibes to everyone waiting. My wife and I were discussing if we were excited for transfer tomorrow, and she was saying not really as its then another wait to test, and if its positive then another wait again for the 7 weeks scan and 12 week scan. The whole process is just one long wait really. I'm already feeling really distracted at work and we've not even transferred yet!

I had some long chats with chatGPT about statistical likelihood of this 1 sticking when we were thinking about getting started

I just had my embryo transfer. Currently nothing else to freeze unfortunately, but they are giving the remaining 3 another 24 hours to hopefully get maybe 1. Test day for me is Easter Sunday, maybe this is a lucky sign? 🐣

I also hope this works for you. I have everything xd.. as much as I want another baby the fight to get there is getting harder.

It really is just a heart stopping, anxiety ridden waiting game to pass each step and hope for the best. I hope the transfer goes well and you both have loads of distractions to make the time go by faster.

My timing is wrong on MN. Im in australia so I sent that update at around 9am this morning. Its currently 2.35pm as I send this comment on the 26th. Clinic rang me at 8.30am

I'm rooting for absolutely everybody and so pleased to hear of all these eggs fertilising!!!

I've got my cycle review booked for 9th April, when I will discuss the protocol for our next transfer in May. Until then, time to relax, recoup and recover physically.
