ooo lots of activity :) just catching up.
@sunflower1906 Sorry to hear you had such awful OHSS last time. Hopefully they can take a less aggressive approach and avoid that this time and make the whole process more comfortable. Wow egg collection is coming up so soon for you!
@MocktailMe I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. What an amazing result though getting 9 embryos! I always found FETs so much easier than stim cycles. I never really found the FET meds that bad to be honest!
@Tinkerbell098 Hope this round allows you to add to your family 💛
@Miraclemuma03 The left over embryo thing is probably my biggest thing against doing any more egg collections. I think if we ever did have a chance of heart if this didn't work I'd try IUI again even though it didn't work previously, as we do actually still have a bit of our donors sperm left frozen.
@CrumbleCake98 To be honest I never felt much on stims, I think it does vary a lot.
@wishinghard2 Fellow same sex couple here. You've really been put through your paces with all those egg collections so far. I've heard of donor issues before, I think its really challenging to have to navigate. Hopefully this is the cycle that brings you success.
My update - meds arrived yesterday and called clinic to say no period yet, so was booked in for a blood test today to check whats going on to see whether I should start norethisterone. But aunt flow came with gusto this morning, so I get to skip the norethesterone (and paid for meds I dont need but heyho) so I'm starting Estradiol and Ovamex tomorrow! first scan next Friday which will be interesting as we're on a (local, only 2 hours away) holiday next week, leaving Friday morning, so we're going to need to come home via the fertility clinic 😂
I'm happy my period came, I feel much happier starting with my natural period than needing to induce a bleed. I need to set reminders on my phone for all the meds as im 4 times a day on estradiol.
I've not told anyone we're doing a transfer, though a couple friends know we've been considering it.
