Is anyone planning a fresh cycle in March? It would be lovely to have some cycle buddies to share all the highs and lows of this whole process as we have been pretty private and not told any friends or family. I have been down regulating most of February and finally got the green light to start stims on the 28th with egg retrieval provisionally booked for Friday 13th March. Thankfully I’m not superstitious 😂😂 then planning for a fresh transfer if all goes to plan and we have an embryo 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Update this morning , my second embryo didnt make it to freezer. It made it to a blastocyst but was such poor quality the embryologist didnt want to freeze it. Also my morula that was transferred yesterday was compacted and it was really good quality so was told it has a really good chance so im holding on to hope.

2mumlife · 31/03/2026 08:58

@Miraclemuma03 Sorry there was nothing to freeze, but great you are feeling more positive about the one that was trasnferred :)

@CrumbleCake98 Did you manage to avoid the temptation to test again this morning?

5dp5dt here. I had soem stabbing pains in the middle of the night so I'm hoping thats embryo settling in, as I remember feeling similar in at least 1 of my previous successful cycles as well. I hate this second half of the wait, it always seems to drag

Greentiles67 · 31/03/2026 11:22

@sunflower1906sorry to hear this time hasn’t been the one. It will be one day, gotta keep that hope going.
I got a good number of eggs (for my age, 38) I’m told. I’d been taking pregnacare max conception for about 8months with a top up of vitamin D, not sure if it helps but the numbers were good so it’s definitely not done any harm.

@CrumbleCake98keep holding out a bit longer 🙏🏻 you just never know.

@Miraclemuma03all the very best for this little bean. Just taking each day as comes 🙏🏻

@2mumlifeI had those stabbing pains too but I felt like it was my ovaries shrinking back. Who knows! It’s all a mystery! Now all cramps and zaps have subsided.

Just a little update from me, I’m 10dpt5dt and last night I got some brown stringy discharge. This morning there was fresh blood when I wipe. I realllllly feel like AF needs to shed her load right now. All the signs are there. But I did have implantation bleeding with DD, so much so I just thought I was having a period so not all hope is lost.
And as for the summer hol… we’re currently on a UK break and we’ve had the whole four seasons of the weather in one day so if the POAS isn’t the result we want then I’ll put my doom scrolling time to good use, searching for a holiday somewhere warm (for some natural vitamin d 😂)

2mumlife · 31/03/2026 11:54

@Greentiles67 I'm just on a FET so no overies to shrink 😂we will see. I forgot how much you drive yourself demanted monitoring any little twinge. I had implanation bleeding around day 5 with 1 pregnancy and some spotting with the other after OTD. The brown stringy sounds ok, has the fresh bleeding slowed down now? When is your OTD? Mine is meant to be 13dp5dt but I think we're just going to do 10dp5dt like on all my previous cycles to be honest.

Greentiles67 · 31/03/2026 12:45

My OTD is 13dpt5dt but decided to test tomorrow when they’ll be no doubt. Also, being away from home might help with a BFN. The red was last night and this morning but very minor. Honestly, it’s a roller coaster!

CrumbleCake98 · 31/03/2026 16:26

Yes I managed to hold off testing today! Was out of the house busy with work which helped I think to distract a little! The waiting is just horrible, I have a gut feeling it hasn’t worked so trying to prepare myself and also have fun long weekend plans lined up so I don’t just mope around for 4 days. My OTD is Sunday (11dp5dt) but I think I’ll test a day or 2 early (assuming my will power holds out) as I think it’ll be fairly definite by then.

@Greentiles67 good luck for tomorrow! Everything crossed for you

BellaTink647 · 31/03/2026 18:17

Hope everyone is doing ok.

I caved this evening and tested 11dp5dt, instead of 13 which my clinic told me to. It was a definite negative. Was a a weak, evening wee and 2 days earlier than they said but I'm sure there should have been a faint line if any chance of a positive? Second transfer and nothing in the freezer now so feeling v deflated

I would do one with FMU to be very sure (I had a beta of 35 previously with a negative urine test in the evening so if it was extremely diluted it's possible) but with how high you'd expect HCG to be by 11dp5dt I would expect this to be negative now.

I'm so sorry I know how hard it is xx

BellaTink647 · 31/03/2026 18:49

@mocktailMe thank you. Yes I will do a test first thing just to be sure, but trying to be realistic as I know it's not likely :(

2mumlife · 31/03/2026 20:25

@Greentiles67 Glad the bleeding was short lived. Fingers crossed for tomorrow for you 🤞

@CrumbleCake98 My clinic was always 10dpt before so I think that’s what we will do. Well done on not testing today! Just a few more days to go for you :)

@BellaTink647 Sorry it isn’t positive today. I’d also have expected something to show even with evening wee to be honest 🌼

Hi, I had my transfer yesterday, can I join? Same sex couple using donor sperm. Our first transfer was successful and resulted in our son, but this is our 5th transfer tryingg for a sibling. Our clinic also has 13dp5dt as official test date which seems like an age to wait.

Greentiles67 · 01/04/2026 10:12

Not only did we get a BFN this morning 😔 AF broke through the dam wall essentially. I rang my clinic who advised me to continue the progesterone until my OTD on Friday but at this point it’s as much use as chocolate fire guard so I’ve stopped.
The tough part for me feels lie it’s going to be the wait until being able to go again

I’m so sorry @Greentiles67, try to be kind to yourself. The wait to go again will be hard but it’s so upsetting when you get a BFN a little time to recover emotionally is no bad thing. If there’s any foods you love but can’t have in pregnancy, I like to treat myself to those as a tiny silver lining and go get a hot stone massage as they’re not allowed either. No matter what you do take care of yourself.

Welcome @hollyhdgood luck for this time xx

Thanks @Greentiles67 and I'm so sorry about you negative. I get so frustrated with the advice to carry on the progesterone. The breakthrough AF happened to me too, i stopped it straight away.

2mumlife · 01/04/2026 12:20

@Greentiles67 I'm sorry it was a negative and AF is here. I'd stop the medication as well - there is nothing worse then continuing medication through AF its just too brutal.

@hollyhd Welcome to join this thread, but I think there is also an April thread if you want to follow along with others a bit more on your time line? Also a same sex couple here, also doing a sibling round. We had the opposite in that our first child took 7 attempts (4 IUIs and 3 transfers) but our second happened with the first transfer. We had 1 embryo left so we've transferred that. Have all 5 sibling transfers been with frosties from your first round? OTD for us is meant to be Wed at 13dpt5dt but in all my previous cycles it was always 10dp5dt so I think we will test on Sunday instead.

I'm psyching myself out today to be honest - feel like all my 'symptoms' might just be my brain kidding me on. I don't know. I WFH and cannot concentrate today. I've completely cleaned the inside of my fridge this morning to do something productive 😂

wishinghard2 · 01/04/2026 16:03

Hi everyone.

Its been a few days since I have checked in here and wanted to see how everyone was holding up. I am so sorry to heave read of the negative tests. I have been really routing for each and every one of you!

@2mumlife I find the last few days are the worst in the TWW but it sounds like you have been handling things so well thus far. Not long to go now and I really am keeping everything crossed for you!

@hollyhd Welcome, same sex couple here too. We have had 5 ER (between the both of us) and on our 4th transfer - my first. Sounds like you have had quite the journey so far! When did you have your ER? Is it from the same batch as your first born?

My update, is that I have a scan booked end of April which will be week 8 so I am in the long wait now for viability. The spotting has stopped which is good, I think but these next 3 weeks can’t come quick enough!

hollyhd · 01/04/2026 16:08

@2mumlife thanks. Nope not all from the same round. Had 2 frozen from the 1st round, then did a second round and transferred 2 and now on our 3rd and final (no more money!) fresh transfer. Fortunately we also had 3 more to freeze this time round, so if we still get nothing after 8 transfers, I guess it's not mean to be.

I always drive myself mad over symptoms. I thought I had really definite symptoms with my successful transfer, but since having so many failed transfers I realise it really was just the progesterone - I have the same symptoms every time. Good luck for testing on Sunday x

2mumlife · 01/04/2026 17:04

@wishinghard2 I always think the wait for the first scan is almost worse than the 2 week wait. How are you feeling? Any nausea yet?

@hollyhd Offt thats been a long road for trying for a sibling for you. Hoping this one sticks for you so you're not back to saving up. My fresh transfer was awful, but all my FETs have stuck so far (though 1 CP) so I don't have much to compare with symptom wise. Though with my CP I definitely just felt totally normal after OTD and with my successful ones I've started feeling nauseus quite quickly after OTD

wishinghard2 · 01/04/2026 18:34

@2mumlife the wait is so very hard, but the whole thing is a constant wait really isn’t it so just trying to keep myself busy and occupied. My biggest thing over the last week has been exhaustion, I could have slept literally anywhere! I had nausea on and off but today is the first day I haven’t felt it. I’m exactly 5 weeks today and did my last test in the house which was a digital and read 3+, which I know they can be massively inaccurate but seeing that reading was reassuring.

We’re in uncharted territory now as the furthest we ever got was with my partner at 4+3 when she had her chemical. I’ve had a bit of back pain, on and off, today but trying not to read too much into every single feeling and instead try and enjoy where we are at right now but it’s hard, all the unknown.

Miraclemuma03 · 01/04/2026 22:25

@Greentiles67 im so sorry for your negative. Is it alot of bleeding or just spotting? How many days past transfer are you now?

Miraclemuma03 · 01/04/2026 22:37

Good morning! No new updates from me really. Im 3dp5dt and besides the progesterone side effects, there isnt much to tell. But i have some crazy bloated, my nipples hurt, cramping pretty good, out of breath, tired, constipated, and my already sore back is now just ouchy lol how is everyone else on their meds? Also I found applicators on Amazon so grabbing some of those.
