February FET 2026

Thought I’d set up a chat for anyone due to have a FET in February 2026 😊

We’re doing ICSI due to severe MFI. We are doing our third transfer next month after a failed fresh and chemical from a FET. This is also our last embryo before having to start allllll over again 🫠 my period arrived later this afternoon so tomorrow is my CD1 then full steam ahead. This time I’m doing a modified natural (adding in a trigger), adding in clexane and the same as last time having Lubion and Cyclogest.

Is anyone else on a similar timeline? We could trauma bond over the turmoil we’re about to put ourselves through 😂

Can anyone share your progesterone level day of FET (if specific to you) please. Mine was 45.7nmol/L. My clinic thinks this is low and have placed me on a rescue protocol. I’m now really anxious.

I think that is low, BUT you’ve picked it up and can go on more before little one nestles in.

I’ve had mine tested today (3 days prior to transfer) and it’s 109nmol/l

ali2021 · 21/02/2026 16:33

Hi @PeacockMonster mine was tested 3 days before transfer and was 54. It was a natural cycle, so they were happy with that as it would have risen from there. My transfer was successful.

However, I do very vividly recall on a previous cycle my clinic telling me that 20 is the minimum level on the morning of a transfer for it to be able to proceed. 45 sounds like a very good number to me! 'Rescue protocol' sounds very scary and no doubt you're up the walls. I'd imagine you're on intramuscular progesterone now? If so, this is very fast acting. It raises it significantly within 24 hours. 2-3 days post transfer is the key time for progesterone to work its magic. Your baseline level sounds good to me, but you still have plenty of time for it to raise! ❤️

PeacockMonster · 21/02/2026 16:41

@PlanBFertility26 Thanks for responding. My clinic like it to be below 100. My last successful cycle, my level was 80. This was a fresh transfer however.

@ali2021 Thanks. My clinic have asked me to take my Lubion daily instead of alternating days. I’ll also maintain my x3 cyclogest daily. Hopefully that’ll be enough to boost my levels.

I’m not feeling my hopeful and I won’t be getting my hopes up.

PlanBFertility26 · 21/02/2026 17:54

@PeacockMonster it blows my mind how much variation there is between clinics! Surely there should be agreed reference ranges 😂

TerrazzoChips · 21/02/2026 18:06

I had bloods taken but am not sure if my clinic measured my progesterone

PeacockMonster · 21/02/2026 18:13

@PlanBFertility26 I know right. It’s frustrating. I guess what works for one person may not work for the other. I’m going to stop focusing on it. What will be will be. I wish you the best with your cycle however.

@TerrazzoChips Yeah, not every clinic checks these levels it seems which to be is odd as it’s like taking a stab in the dark. However, it could also highlight the confidence of the clinics performance. Best wishes!!!

TerrazzoChips · 23/02/2026 07:54

I’m out. Tested yesterday at 8dp5dt and it was a very stark negative FRER. 😔

thanking my little embryo for the hope s/he gave. They’ll always have a special place in my heart ❤️

PeacockMonster · 23/02/2026 09:33

@TerrazzoChips Sorry to hear this news. It’s such a difficult position to be in. I wish you all of the best with your next cycle.

Vil · 23/02/2026 11:08

@TerrazzoChips I’m so sorry take care of yourself today

Hello - I’m in the Feb IVF thread but have a question about FET as I’m pretty sure my fresh transfer has not stuck this month.

when doing a frozen, do you use pessaries alongside injections, or just the injections? I need to go to my clinic today as they have not given me enough pessaries to last me to OTD but as a self funded patient they have agreed to issue me 4 more boxes in the event it’s a positive later this week to take me to the scan date when I would see them again - to save me going back as it’s a bit of a journey. They won’t send them to a pharmacy - is this normal???

based on usual PMS I am counting myself mostly out (I am clinging on but not to much), but basically I am wondering whether there is a downside to getting all 4 boxes as it’s going to cost close to £100 and if it’s injections only for a FET, could be a waste of money.
its just not convenient to go again this week as would mean unpaid time off/making up time I don’t have from work - argh.

another avoidable stressful part of the process!!!

Hey, it completely depends on you and your clinic. For example, for both my FETs I was on pessaries only, no injections. Good luck

PeacockMonster · 23/02/2026 15:44

@TTCbaby2xox I have had both injections and pesserys for FET and Fresh IVF transfer. The type of medication isn’t exclusion to anyone type of transfer. The reason they over prescribe, as you can already see you have ran out of medication nearly and have to go and collect more. They’re trying to save you doing this in the event your cycle is successful so you have enough until your body pregnancy scan. If they give you more than you end up needing, perhaps they will discount the next round of medication, deducing what you already have. All clinics are different so maybe ask them also 😬

PeacockMonster · 23/02/2026 15:44

@TTCbaby2xox Also, why do you think your cycle hasn’t been successful?

girljulian · 23/02/2026 16:31

Hi all, I'm 7dp5dt and slightly losing it...am I on the right thread??

Hi - we get all ours from ASDA, as they don't charge any fees/mark-ups, so are about a third the cost of our clinic. And after cajoling I got my clinic to issue prescription that I took there. Hope that helps.

PeacockMonster · 23/02/2026 18:30

@girljulian You are indeed on the right thread. How are you coping? Have you tested?

TTCbaby2xox · 23/02/2026 19:34

PeacockMonster · 23/02/2026 15:44

@TTCbaby2xox Also, why do you think your cycle hasn’t been successful?

today is 28 days of what would be my normal cycle and I’ve been having all my usual premenstrual symptoms for the last couple days. I’m 9dp5dt today and shouldn’t have but took a test this morning which is BFN. my OTD is Wednesday. All this grouped with cramping, a lot of crying and light brown discharge tonight and I am 99.9% sure this isn’t the cycle, unfortunately.

i think there was some mix up at the clinic and the nurse wrote down to take 3x cyclogest daily but only gave me enough as if I was taking 2x daily. Whenever I’ve spoken to anyone they’ve said if you’re taking 2 daily, you should have enough - so not sure why I have been advised to take 3 as didn’t even have progesterone tested but hey ho - even with that I think I’m out anyways.

Interesting about Asda @bhgg111 - I assumed we just had to go with what the clinic issued but will do more research before ding any FET as it’s soooo £££££

Hello

for my FET I just had pessaries and not injections, but it was a natural modified FET so not injections throughout apart from ovulation trigger.

when is your OTD, could you hold out? I’m also self funded, the pessaries have a long expiry date so maybe worth getting do your covered as there would be an option to use them for another time.

best of luck

Yay!! My boobs are so sore today and I had insane period cramps last night…I’ve had a pregnancy before but of course I can’t remember what it was like at this stage at all.

Vil · 23/02/2026 20:18

@girljulian that sounds encouraging! I got my bfp at 8 days post and had really sore boobs and awful cramps at 7-8 days post. Fingers crossed, do you have a planned test date ?

OTD is 2 March which is so far away, but I have a stupid idea that it is bad luck to test before OTD…
