February FET 2026

Thought I’d set up a chat for anyone due to have a FET in February 2026 😊

We’re doing ICSI due to severe MFI. We are doing our third transfer next month after a failed fresh and chemical from a FET. This is also our last embryo before having to start allllll over again 🫠 my period arrived later this afternoon so tomorrow is my CD1 then full steam ahead. This time I’m doing a modified natural (adding in a trigger), adding in clexane and the same as last time having Lubion and Cyclogest.

Is anyone else on a similar timeline? We could trauma bond over the turmoil we’re about to put ourselves through 😂

@21RsMama I’m still waiting on my scan 😂 I’m CD11 today and having my scan on CD12. I don’t really know what to expect as I’m doing a modified natural with a trigger, which I haven’t done before. I’m also weirdly chill! Last time at this point I was very panicky and thinking oh my god I need to drink all the pomegranate juice and eat loads of nuts 😂😂 maybe I’ve zoned out now haha and accepted my fate xx

Please can I join? Technically my FET is the 31st Jan, but I feel quite behind everyone in the January chat (some of them already getting positive tests) and need people to pass the time during the waiting game which will mostly be in Feb.

This will be my 3rd FET so I'm terrified of it failing as it was hard enough when the first two failed. I'll really start panicking that something is wrong with me if this one doesn't work.

My embryos are untested. If this one fails I don't know whether to pay to get the remaining ones tested so we know if it's an embryo issue or a womb issue. I am very lucky to have got 8 total, 6 remaining including this transfer.

Good luck everyone having scans!
My drugs were delivered this morning. It's crazy how we are all having FET but all having such different drugs/protocols!

I was hopeful for less drugs for FET versus fresh, and it is a bit as I did down regulation last time, but it still seems like I've got half a pharmacy delivered today!!

This is like me, I feel like for years I've done all the lifestyle changes I can and it's not really helped so this time I'm just being pretty chilled about it all. I do still have the beetroot juice and do all the healthy things but stress wise I'm like whatever happens happens, I can't control it or I wouldn't have had 8 loses 🤷🏼‍♀️ so why overthink it!

I find it so weird!! Like why am I transferring like 5 days earlier than other people? It's so odd to me! CD 11 lining scan then CD 16 transfer day... But others are having lining scans on the 12th/13th etc. sometimes I think it's because the clinic knows exactly what suits who and other times I think they just all have different ideas of when is 'right' 🥲🫠😂

Oh and FYI I saved £139 buying cyclogest from the pharmacy instead of having it delivered by the clinics pharmacy! I was going to be £275 (210 plus 65 delivery) but my pharmacy got me it for £136 all in. How shocking is that!!

Bec18x · 27/01/2026 12:15

I Hope everyone’s scans go well!
I had mine today but lining is 8.9mm so too thick to start again. Going back Thursday for a rescan but not feeling hopeful. She said she could see it coming away but I doubt it will be below 5 by Thursday.
What supplements do you take in preparation?

YourLilacLibra · 27/01/2026 13:14

@Klmno going into a 3rd is such a horrible feeling isn’t it! Just feel so deflated and worn down. We didn’t test our embryos either and this is our last embryo before having to start all over again.

Im not too far behind you, I think mine will be roughly the 5th or 6th I think x

@21RsMama i haven’t done the beetroot juice or anything before this time I’ve made a juice for every day, tastes vile 😂 it’s beetroot juice, pomegranate juice, pineapple, ginger and watermelon. But yes exactly! I don’t think any of these things will actually help, I think it’s more a mental thing that we have some control of something

Oooo out of curiosity did your clinic mind you not using their provider? My clinic aren’t very funny about us using fertility2u so always used them but they have a £75 delivery fee as well. Where as I’d rather use Asda or somewhere but my clinic say we have to use fertility2u through them. I haven’t had the balls to question it yet 😂

@Bec18x Ergh so sorry! That’s so annoying. Prepping for this FET I’ve changed my supplements a bit. I’m currently taking vitamin D, vitamin c, b12, ubiquinol, omega 3, selenium as I have high thyroid antibodies, methyl folate, l-carnitine and a probiotic. It could be pure coincidence however since adding in l-carnitine I found my most recent period a lot cleaner (if that makes sense 😂). Normally at the end of my period I’ll have brown bleeding/discharge which indicates old blood but this period I didn’t have it at all, it was always like that deep red x

So I just called my local pharmacy and asked if they had it and could order in enough for a private prescription and then the clinic done the prescription. I collected the prescription at my scan and that was it. I don't think they were happy about it but also they couldnt really say no. If id been getting other injectables delivered etc I might have just gone through them but I hand collected my ovitrelle so felt really pointless to get a delivery of cyclogest only.

Klmno · 27/01/2026 14:50

Totally @YourLilacLibra , I didn't really expect the first one to work but I did hope we'd get lucky by the second. It wasn't to be though!
Fingers crossed for this time.
Really hope you get success with your last embryo. These embryos are so precious aren't they, so much hope on each one.

21RsMama · 27/01/2026 20:55

Hi all, can I ask a question... I've to start taking cyclogest tomorrow, 3 a day 8 hours apart.... my simple tired mind doesn't understand the timings 😂..do they mean like 8am - 4pm - Midnight - then 8am again.. that's right isn't it? I actually think my brain has checked out 🫠🥲

BluePurpleRedGreen · 27/01/2026 21:49

i think today is likely d12 for me. had my scan and I’ve gotta add estradiol tablets to the patches and scan again in a whole week as lining was below 6mm.

About beetroot juice… Beet It is surprisingly nice. I haven’t tried any other so it could just be to my taste but the 10% apple juice might be helping. I only bought it yesterday.

@YourLilacLibra so far the estradiol is fine, haven’t really noticed it.
happy scan day tomorrow! Hope all goes well.

This sounds right. With my cyclogest I took it twice a day at 7am and 7pm.

ItsAJourney · 28/01/2026 10:40

Morning all, had a scan today on CD8. All looking good with quiet ovaries, triple layers, and lining at 9.26mm. Only trouble we have is with when to start the progesterone as I had an ERA test to help determine the exact right time to start it, and the results aren’t back yet! I’m back for another scan next Tuesday but nurse thinks transfer could be Friday 6th or Monday 9th.

21RsMama · 28/01/2026 11:16

Ladies I'm a bit stressed... And sorry if this is TMI. I've just messaged the clinic to have a callback about some symptoms I'm a little worried about.

Basically I realised I've not had a proper firm bowel movement in 2 weeks (maybe there has been one but I'm not convinced). It's not Diarrhea l, just noticed it wasn't firm like you'd expect. And today I noticed that my tongue has yet again got teeth imprints down the side. Which I know can be a telling of deficiency. I've had to ask the clinic as it something is not balanced I'm worried it will affect implantation. But also I worry I'm just starting to get paranoid over everything 🫠 anyone had anything similar?

Ps I do feel like I'm constantly cleaning my jaw lately 🥲 maybe that messing with my tongue

MocktailMe · 28/01/2026 13:31

Yes with the cyclogest every 8 hours, I'm hoping to stick to 7 - 3 - 11 but I think realistically if we have to be an hour or so out due to being out and about it won't be a deal breaker!

Busyoverthinking · 28/01/2026 14:14

Hello everyone.

I had my FET on Sunday 25th Jan. It's my 4th transfer (two fresh, one fet). I joined the Jan forum but everyone seems to be finished up and I'm probably too early for this one. So not really fitting in anywhere 🙈. If anyone is in a similar boat, I'd love to hear from you. ❤️

I've previously read the forums but never commented or joined. I've just joined Mumsnet today. It's such an isolating and exhausting experience, it would be nice to be able to talk about it with people who genuinely understand. ❤️

YourLilacLibra · 28/01/2026 14:57

Update from my pre ovulation scan - my transfer has been cancelled 😭

She looked at my lining and it was perfect, looked at my right ovary and also perfect and the follicle was at the perfect size for a trigger tonight. Right ovary a collapsed cyst or follicle and as they can’t be sure which they don’t know for sure if it’s producing hormones and could therefore affect the transfer 💔 never had any issues with my ovaries in the whole time we’ve been doing treatment. I truly try to believe in divine timing but this hurt x

I'm so sorry this has happened! It's not what you want but I suppose the risk of them not cancelling and something affecting the embryo is not what you want either 😔

Was this at your second scan?

ItsAJourney · 28/01/2026 19:40

Oh no, sorry to hear that @YourLilacLibra. Did they say what they will have to do about it? I had my January transfer cancelled after the scan due to the scan revealing a suspected polyp. Like you, they said it would impact the success of the transfer so it was cancelled and instead I had a hysteroscopy which ended up revealing it wasn’t a polyp afterall hence why I’m now back in the game for February. Is it something they can rectify quite quickly?

No this was my first scan. At my clinic with a natural FET they tend to scan once around CD12 and then not again until your transfer. Unless there’s any reason they need to scan again. Annoying really as I’d have liked to have known sooner but that’s just how it is 🥲

I now have to wait until my next period and let them know when it starts, they’ll then get me in straight away for a scan to see if it’s resolved itself. She said if it’s still there they’ll put me on Norethisterone to try and get rid of it. I think if it is still there when I go back I’ll request a hysteroscopy as I don’t want to be on medication for the sake of it. I have actually contacted my drs about it as well as I’d like to be investigated for endometriosis and I’d rather have that done on the NHS as privately is so expensive. I do also have health insurance so if my drs say no or the wait is too long I’ll try private via my insurance.

But just a waiting game now until my next period 😔
