October FET

Hi! I’m starting the process of a FET in September, transferring a 4AB early October. Trying for baby number two. Anyone else? Would be great to have people to talk to amongst the symptom spotting, line eyes and general freak outs ☺️

@SarahAndQuack I've read a few studies about fetal microchimerism, really interesting. Not that much research specific to the implications in donor pregnancy but I've read a couple about it. I do read a lot! On the one hand, I think I should distance myself and on the other hand I like learning more about all this. But then quite often, I'll wish I hadn't learned something.
@ClaireBear101 Congratulations on your blastocyst, that's great you go to do day 5. Plus some to freeze.🤞 Everything crossed for you.

So all done and feeling good.
We were told while there that theres another blast so they are freezing that.
Hopefully 2-3 more tomorrow. Absolutely shocked as never had frozen eggs or day 5 blasts.

@ClaireBear101 Excellent! Now for the 2WW. Brilliant that you've got the frozen ones too. So pleased for you. Do you have much on for the next few days or can you relax a bit?

@sara237 I took the week off. I didnt any other try so said id give myself a better chance and have less stress. So week 1 will be very relaxed.
I hate the 2WW though. I'm as impatient haha

That is amazing news!! I hope your transfer went well and good luck on the 2ww. Have you got much planned during the 2 ww to keep your mind occupied?

I seem to finally have past the headaches thankfully. Just feeling tired but that could be lack of sleep. How is everyone else going?

@miraclemuma03 No real. Walks with the Corgi haha. Also read books and watch movies. Anything to keep my mind busy basically.
Have you any news on a transfer?

@ClaireBear101 maybe you can take yourself out for a couple lunch dates and treat yourself nice.
So I am booked in on Wednesday for a transfer, my concerns now are if my embryo survives thaw. I no it doesnt happy often but its happened to us before so I cant let it go.

@miraclemuma03 I totally understand the fear. We all have it at every stage and I wish I could say something to help but all I can is try to stay positive. My thoughts are with your lil embryo!

Got our transfer at 12.40 tomorrow. Feeling really tired from the progesterone but managed to get out for a 5k run this morning. I’m glad I was off work today and will also be off tomorrow and Wednesday!

Morning all 👋

day 10 of FET, been on oestrogen. First baseline scan today - womb is trilaminar and measuring 6.7mm. Increasing oestrogen tablets and adding in a patch. Repeat scan Saturday. If progresses Ok, transfer 7th November

@PlanBFertility All sounds very positive. Hopefully not long now then. Are you feeling ok?

@Miraclemuma03 yup had my transfer today! All went well, the team were very positive and the embryologist explained everything about our embryo beforehand which was super nice. Had a bit of a walk back to the tube and also walked the dog. Now chilling on the couch!

@PlanBFertility that sounds very positive and good that they’re monitoring you to changes dosage if needed.

My clinic are amazing. Just a shame I found them after wasting time, money and heartache at another clinic!

@Limmers14 your clinic sounds great, and its so reassuring when they tell you everything about the embryo and the procedure, and it always makes you feel good when things go well. Congrats for being pupo , hopefully a fast but smooth 2ww. Im currently on my way to my clinic for my transfer.

I swear I posted yesterday . Transfer went really well. Officially pupo. Now we wait

@Miraclemuma03 heres hoping. My last cycle with them (and first out of 3 cycles that got me fertilisation) resulted in a BFP but sadly lost little one at 7wks xx

@PlanBFertility im so sorry for your loss. Hopefully this cycle gives you a better outcome. Everything is xd and sending all the baby vibes.
