Anyone in the same boat who'd like to chat?
It's our first round. Likely to need a freeze all which I'm quite disappointed about as means won't even transfer until Nov.
I'm on short protocol.
Feeling pretty fed up ATM tbh, partly because it's come to this but also just want to get going, currently just waiting for my period early sept and feels like my life is on hold until then!

@boberto88 that is a fantastic number and I'm glad you are feeling much better and hopeful today! We had 13 fertilised which was higher than I expected so feeling very relieved, was worried with the fragmentation there would be a huge drop (which there may still be but at least it's one hurdle ticked off).

@Happyclappy22 hopefully if you're still feeling the pain, that could mean implantation is still ongoing? You're basically equivalent of 10dpo which is super early. Try not to lose hope just yet but I'm so sorry it wasn't positive.
So hard to go to work and carry on as normal during times of disappointment isn't it?!

@pastelheart great news about the two in the freezer and the spare sperm for just in case!!

Hi ladies, had my egg collection today, 17 eggs collected from 19 follicles. Thrilled with that, I only got 8 last time from 19! Now the nervous waiting begins x

I've felt rough as hell since egg collection, really sick and exhausted! Not that tender though which I'd have thought I would if I had ohss. It might be the cabegorline they told me to take to prevent ohss, as it seems to get a lot worse just after taking the tablet. Feel quite sorry for myself!

@pastelheart Hello, I’m well thanks. I’ve not tested, I’m only 6 days post transfer and I’m not supposed to test for over a week still. Crabbiness has reduced, cramps have stopped…it’s all very confusing! How are you? Do you have any symptoms?

@YourTipsyDogare you planning on waiting for official test day? I am, as I don’t think I can bring myself to do a test before then. The thought makes me feel sick lol
glad crabbiness has reduced! Yeah I am good thank you. I am 2dpt, I have had lots of tummy pains today and I am knackered but trying not to read too much into it xx

@pastelheart i am really good thank you just tired. So tired I accidentally sent a screenshot to the work group chat with a text at the top from my sister saying have you tested again today. Ugh. Anyway I deleted it fingers crossed the people who saw it didn’t notice the text at the top! I’m such a private person only 3 people know about it in work for logistical reasons (I work with challenging behaviour).

@Klmno oh cabergoline is the WORST a nurse once told me you can take it as a suppository vaginally and it makes you less ill but I’ll be honest I just stopped taking it (this was years ago). Maybe message and ask if you can try that if it’s too bad. I used to take it of an evening as I was told and not be able to sleep or anything

@pastelheart I am planning to test a day early so that my husband can be there too. I’ve had thoughts about testing earlier but I feel like ignorance is bliss. I still remember the horrible feeling from the negative test last time.

Hopefully your symptoms are positive. They mess with your head don’t they- everything is a sign and yet nothing is. Everything crossed for you x

@Backtotheicsi oh no 😣 I am sure they didn’t see it and if they did I hope they keep quiet about it… and act shocked when you tell them! Glad you are feeling good, have you tested anymore? Do you do beta with your clinic or is it a scan?

@pastelheart Hoping 🤞🏻 I seem to be getting night sweats now which is a JOY. I had it last time too, I think it’s the progesterone :(

@pastelheart how are you feeling? I wish I had that attitude. I’m such a planner and can’t bare not knowing but no good really came of me testing early except the prep of knowing it was a no 5 days in.

@YourTipsyDog I felt that a lil last night but not sure about whether it was genuinely that or a result of my bonnet. 7 days in how are you feeling? My body is starting to feel somewhat normal now minus the prescence of my pelvic discomfort. Still holding out from testing until OTD. I feel no bloating, no fatigue, no nausea. Is this your 2nd time? Is there any difference between last time and this time ?

Hi @Happyclappy22 honestly I’m not feeling much apart from the hot sweats! This is my second time yes, last time I felt like I had more symptoms as I felt so bloated and had big sore boobs. I was mega stressed though so I don’t know if that made a difference. I think your mind can create a lot of it. On one hand I can’t wait for it to be over but also there’s still a chance I’m pregnant until I test!

@YourTipsyDog oh night sweats are the worst. We have been having some issues with our heating in our room, so my partner has been trailing stuff with his plumber friend before the whole house has to be ripped up (again) so currently test is blasting our radiators… Christ alive I hate being too hot and it’s like a bloody sauna in our room at night and as it’s raining I can’t open the velux windows. I’m like I think the radiators are working now, please stop trying to cook me from the inside out. Honestly… the progesterone is sent from the devil.

@pastelheart ive tested each day since they are looking very good but my clinic don’t do betas automatically I would have to pay plus drive almost a 4 hour round trip and we can’t really afford it for something that is out of our control anyway. I have a scan booked in for 7th October. My birthday 🙈

Egg collection done, 15 eggs just to wait for fertilisation rate, quite sore and bloated but drinking electrolytes to hopefully sort that out roll on the next 5 days to see what results I get, there is always something with IVF to stress you out isn't there

Hey @Backtotheicsi glad your tests are looking good! So pleased for you 🙂 well, what a birthday present for you! I don’t think my clinic does betas either, think it’s just a scan too like yours.

@camelinastorm congrats! That’s a great number 🤞🏼 for fertilisation. I swear by electrolytes, I had free fluid at my last monitoring scan, I downed electrolytes for the next 6 days and there was none on my scan at my transfer! I got a lovely sour cherry flavour and I actually prefer it over squash now x

@Backtotheicsiyeah I feel good, was quite uncomfortable yesterday with lots of tummy pains, not cramps as such more like stabby but today is all good. The suppositories are a bit uncomfortable now so that’s fun. Well it’s been 3 days since transfer but feels like about 3 decades, so on the go slow for me too lol. So weird as stims seemed to fly past but now I think we are going backwards
what have you been up to this weekend? My partner and son went go karting today, I just watched (obvs) and my son kept asking why I wasn’t doing it 🤔😵‍💫 I’m to scared didn’t cut it, he looked at me very suspiciously xx
