Due to have my FET in July following my egg collection in April, I'm due to start norethisterone on Monday then patches so estimating my transfer to be mid-July!
Anyone else? 💛

@waitingforourmiracle ALL the luck for Friday eeeee. Must feel like it’s been a long time coming with your lining needing a lil while longer but hopefully worth the wait and you’ve grown a snuggly lil bed for your embryo x

@waitingforourmiracle absolutely not 🤣 because we’re in the ‘unexplained’ camp and been trying quite a while, I’m one of those who buys tests in the 50s just in case 🤣 so there’s no way I’m gonna be able to last til OTD. I’m going to try and wait til 6dpt though as that’s when I’ve seen most people start getting the lines if it’s a success 🤞🏼♥️ also I’m making a lil book of our journey so if we do get a + then might be nice to include 😊

@GamerGirl09 I like your book idea, that sounds lovely. Have you documented everything? I tried to stay strong and was going to wait for 8dp5dt but I failed and took a test at 5!

Hi ladies, sorry have been quiet. I'm in the dreaded TWW. Planning to hold out until OTD which is Sunday. Not really getting any symptoms that I wasn't getting pre-transfer from my drugs. Saying that, my first positive (ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks) I didn't have any symptoms either and the times I've really thought I did have strong symptoms I've got a BFN so I know that you really can't tell!

If it's a BFN Sunday then I have a nice day planned of going for a swim at the Lido (my happy place!), followed by brunch and a bike ride later on in the day. I'm an exercise junkie so having to stop over the last couple of weeks has been hard! May also treat myself to something extravagant!

So lovely to see all the positive tests coming through 🥰 and sorry to those whose time this hasn't been, it's such a difficult process and so unfair.

@FancyGoose So much luck for Sunday. The backup plan sounds great but really hope you get lucky!

@GamerGirl09 Oh I will absolutely be the same, my boyfriend goes on a trip to Ireland at the end of the month so I will 100% be testing before then anyway!

@FancyGoose you have such good will power to hold off testing! Everything crossed for a positive! That sounds like a lovely day you have planned

Sorry ladies, for some reason I don’t seem to get notifications apart from when OP posts. Will need to have a look at that! Hope everyone is doing well, glad to see a few positives and some transfers booked in 🙏🏻❤️

I had a bit of a flakey yesterday with my lines not getting darker. Phoned EPU and they initially said urine pregnancy tests aren’t designed to be tracked (too many variables) but I think they felt sorry for me because I honestly couldn’t speak for crying and the whole backstory of this blooming embryo. they told me to come in for a hcg blood test - result was 34, which is low, but they said it’s all about whether it doubles by Wednesday or not. So back at 11am tomorrow to repeat. Yesterday I spent most of the day crying, which is unlike me, but today I’ve more or less made my peace with it and what will be will be 😩❤️

@babycoconut I'm sorry you've had a tough couple of days, praying your bloods double tomorrow, it's such a unfair journey. Sending big hugs and hope for tomorrows results 💝

@bluecoral I haven’t documented everything! I only just thought of it a couple of days ago and I just had my transfer yesterday so I’m a bit late 🤣 I bought an IVF journey book off Amazon and will try to backfill it the best I can I think. It has pages for 2 ECs and 2 transfers. While I was waiting for it to arrive I gathered a few things to put in it, like my wristband from transfer yesterday and a couple of pebbles from the beach we had a stroll down after, but got the book last night and there’s not really pages for stuff like that so I’ll have to get creative haha. I wish I’d started at the beginning though 😩🤣

@GamerGirl09 I am doing similar only with taking lots of photos and videos of everything - no holds barred - as that is how I will be announcing the hopeful future arrival of our very elusive, yet to be conceived (!) baby. With what it actually took for us to get there, if indeed we ever do, so that others in the infertility trenches feel less alone.

Out of interest, has anyone documented on social media about their IVF journey? I didn't for my first round and not many people knew about it but this round I've told people openly and I even posted about stims & egg collection on my instagram in the hope that anyone else struggling could relate, I did have a few girls message me so it felt worth it! I haven't posted about my FET and only my mum and sister-in-law know it's on Friday but I've taken photos to post at a later date!

Joining in a bit late here, I started my medicated FET 12 days ago and have my lining check scan on Friday in the hopes of doing transfer on 24/7.
i’ve been on estradiol tablets daily with almost no symptoms (which is great as I suffered horribly with stims during my 3 EC cycles).
do the symptoms change when progesterone is started?

Had a scan today.due to bleeding yest

Thankfully all is ok and as theyd expect for a 5w4day pregnancy .

I do have a small haematoma

Progesterone gives me nausea / hot flushes / mood swings

@worldwidetravel2017 glad scan was reassuring for you. Will they need to monitor the haematoma?
@SparklyMintBeaker i also felt a bit hot and headachy the last time I had this, but saying that, I'm often hot and headachy anyway! Hope lining scan goes well on Fri.
I had a scan today and bloods as I attempt a natural cycle. In past cycles ,I've ovulated early so it's only day 7 today. There were zero dominant follicles so felt it was just too early. Yet home ovulation test showed surge last night so thoroughly confused. Waiting to hear back from clinic. My lining had triple line though and is 7.2mm on day 7 so that's all good. Urgh, just want to get to FET!

@worldwidetravel2017 are you still on it now? Sorry to hear about haematoma but thank God everything’s stable otherwise!

@Sara237 thanks! I have no idea what to expect. I don’t know how natural cycles work, what day are you expecting to transfer?

Hey @SparklyMintBeaker I started my progesterone on Sunday and I've not had any real side effects, very slight period like pains in the morning but nothing major! I've had hot flushes but I don't know if that's because the UK is so humid at the minute!! 😅

@Sara237 do you have to go back for another scan? That's a good lining for day 7, mine took till day 17 to get to that!

@SparklyMintBeaker if I get to FET this cycle, then hopefully within next fortnight. Natural cycle works by monitoring ovulation so that transfer happens 5 days after ovulation if a 5 day blast. It requires more scans and bloods to check this. I've done medicated cycles so thought I'd try this!

@waitingforourmiracle I've not shared on social media. But I think writing it all out could be therapeutic. I like your idea. I'd like to do tips for others on what not to say!

I am starting my natural transfer soon hopefully too, maybe we’ll be on similar timelines :). Had consultation today and now just waiting for period to start in the next week or so.
