I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

Quite normal especially with IVF. Could be from pessaries, or a haematoma. Was it much or spotting? I do know the panic tho so hope it goes away for you!

@Daniki there was a little bit, definitely more than spotting then it stopped, then when I walked out the hospital there was a bit more. I’ve got some mild cramps now but nothing major. Thank you for your reply ♥️

@Kirstie16 yes I know exactly how it feels it happened to me in the TWW despite having positive tests and I was beside myself with worry but it never happened again so must’ve been the pessaries irritating the sensitive cervix (especially as you say yours has closed!) also hopefully for more assurance, my friend who conceived naturally also had bleeding when pregnant in the early stages after DTD for the same reason a sensitive cervix! I of course can’t say for certain but someone told me exactly this when it happened to me and it must’ve been the case and was reassuring! Xx

I did a FRER test this morning for the first time since the super faint one and it’s finally looking darker so I’ve allowed myself to be cautiously optimistic and to try and enjoy the weekend ahead of blood test on Monday!

How's everyone doing today? I'm having a totally "it's not worked, how can it even work, the chances are so slim" kind of day. I was grumpy with my DH this morning which I know it just hormones from the awful bever bullets. But I'm just so tired!

@Mseddy I think I am having that mood all weekend. I’m convinced it’s not worked and I have no logic to say that just how I feel. You been having any symptoms?

I have been away for couple of nights was great but god I’m glad to be at home on the sofa again feel wiped out.

@Kirstie16 how are you today? I’ve had some brown discharge so obviously overthought it and cried,I’ve pulled myself together and gone for a walk in the sun and feel abit better now. Test still showing strong positive,this rollercoaster is vile 😞

@Mseddy totally with you with the awful bullets,im hoping they are what has caused the brown discharge and will be putting them up my bum in future 🤣

@Cosyseason1234 sorry to hear about the brown discharge but it could just be the pessaries - I was in Crinone gel for my first FET and they were so gross but this time I’m on cyclogest and have been using them up the back way as no mess at all and don’t have to lie down for 20 mins!

When is your OTD? So good you’re getting strong positives 🙏🏻🤞🏻

@Cosyseason1234 I alternate them to try and not cause irritation to either part. So grim.

@Purpleflowers17 zero symptoms. I've looked back on my old thread I was on when I had DD and I started with symptoms 4dp5dt on both my BFPs (one was a chemical). I'm only 3dp5dt today so not having any symptoms is fine today, but I'll stress tomorrow if I don't get any!

Also, my DH ended up needing aload of IV antibitoics, fluids and steroids and fluids when he went to a&e on Friday because of how bad this throat infection was. He's loads better now and I've been avoiding him, but my throat is suddenly sore and covered in spots :( so I've got antibiotics to try and stop it before it gets to how his was, but i feel uneasy taking them because of my embryo. They are pregnancy safe, but it feels like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

@Mseddy and @Purpleflowers17 I'm right there with you both in terms of feeling negative...this wait is really taking its toll. My husband has stopped asking if I'm OK cause I cry when he does 🙁 really don't think I'll even last holding off testing until Friday! What are you guys thinking?

@Mseddy also sorry to hear about your partner and that you now have the infection...that's a really tough decision to make and I'm sure they'd be fine but I'd be conflicted too.

@Cosyseason1234 hope you're OK and that the bleeding stopped. Brown blood shouldn't be anything to worry about so hopefully it doesn't come to anything. Keep your head busy if you can xxx

@Eagerlywaiting1990 I've told myself I'll wait until 6dp5dt because with both my DD and my chemical I was negative day 5 and positive day 6. But realistically I'll probably test day 5 so that when it's negative I can start coming to terms with it already. I'll know if I've got zero symptoms it's not worked because I've been here 3 times before and got symptoms with both my BFPs. So the next 48 hours are going to be a rollercoaster of symptoms spotting!

@Mseddy fingers crossed for some symptoms tomorrow then! what symptoms did you have? I have minimal, just tired, bloated, a dull ache in my lower abdomen and verrry emotional but think that's more the fear. Xx

Hi everyone. 👋

Joining this group as we had our first fresh transfer today. OTD is 13th Feb. Hoping for some positive news in time for valentines day.

Really hoping these next two weeks pass quickly! I'm not planning to test before OTD as too much of a goodie two shoes 😆🫣, but I know I would stress too much regardless of what the result was.

We don't actually have any tests in the house so will have to plan when we buy them.

Welcome @OneWaryCat happy transfer day. I have 6 FRERs sitting on the kitchen table shouting at me every time I walk past! 😂

@Eagerlywaiting1990 I had heartburn, pulling/cramping in my tummy and really tender boobs. I currently have none of these things. I feel a bit sickly, but that might be the tonsillitis. In my mind, If my boobs aren't sore I don't really feel like there is any point in testing!

I'm currently looking at booking a little cabin away next weekend for one night with the husband and the dog so we can just get a bit of fresh air, have a few gentle walks and generally hide away a bit.

Work should be quite busy for the next few days which will be a good distraction but I do have a really understanding boss who knows we are having treatment and she has been really good and told me 'now is not the time to excel' and to just do the bare minimum.

Transfer went well I think. The main thing I am nervous for the is the call tomorrow to find out if we have any which can go in the freezer. None of them were quite at blastocyst stage today except for the one that got transferred. If not, feels like pressure ramps up a bit. I know I just need to chill and focus on this one and believe in it. 🙏

@OneWaryCat on of my 3 frosties (well 2 now given I'm currently incubating one) was frozen on day 6 and we were told they weren't sure if it would catch up. It did and is just as good grade as the others were. There is a theory that girls take longer to reach blast stage, so hopefully you've got a little girl gang of frosties waiting to go in the freezer tomorrow. My first ever cycle I only got one blast, so I know the feeling of literally having all your eggs in one basket. It feels like the end of the world if it doesn't work, but the next round we ended up with 5 blasts, one of whom is my DD. So you have to just keep hope

@Eagerlywaiting1990 thanks so much,it’s lessening abit now so 🤞 hope you are doing ok? I am fully with you on the crying! Thinking I might take tomorrow off work,not taken any yet and think I’ve reached abit of an emotional burnout with todays issue.

@OneWaryCat welcome! We have a little cabin booked for next weekend,100% it is needed and my thoughts when I booked it was whatever the outcome I’ll be grateful for some headspace. Got my fingers crossed for your little blastocysts ❤️

@Cosyseason1234 a day off sounds like a good idea! I think emotional burnout is exactly it, glad you're still getting positives tho xx

I'm a bit nervous that my AF is due tomorrow so within my tww.. and that it'll just come before I've got to the OTD or even earlier testing (I'm 7dp5dt and I'm still resisting, only have 1 in the house so trying to hold out!) does anyone know is it normal for you to be due on and it just not come hopefully because of a BFP or because of hormones we're on??

@Cosyseason1234 so sorry to hear you’re going through this as well, are you going to ring the clinic tomorrow? I’ve just got slight brown discharge, not much at all but It’s still there 😔 think I’ve convinced myself I’m miscarrying again. The hospital did my bloods today and hopefully going to get a scan tomorrow!
