Yes, you are absolutely right. I did it again this morning and it's back to 3+. I did the blood works anyway so now looking forward to getting some good news there as well 🙏

While I’m here - I thought constipation was the most common issue in first trimester but I’m experiencing the opposite… some mornings the first bite of food sends me bowel in to an immediate painful cramp and I have to rush to the loo. Anyone else?! 😳

Oh really? I am really suffering with bad constipation. It's the worst. Another thing is smells really make me nauseated, and I don't have much of an appetite.

Hi all, I haven’t posted for a while but it’s good to hear from all of you.

Only 1 week until my viability scan, I honestly can’t wait. I did a private beta test last week, the values were good so it reassured me a little.

Is anyone planning to buy baby stuff for Black Friday? For me it will be before my 12-week scan and typically I would prefer to wait but if there are some very good deals I might be tempted because I have zero baby stuff and no mum friend that could give me some second hand stuff!

Ok just had scan and still a strong heart beat, 136 💓 and it has grown. still measuring behind, 6+4 today but inline with the scan on Friday where I was 6 weeks. So I can relax for another while 🙈 have the second gestational sac but empty so possibly my embryo tried to split aswell @GreyJoker 😂

@YellowTack hiya! Glad all is going well with you. It's a hard one isn't it! I'm not sure the bargains in Black Friday are all they look to be but I think if you found something you really want you could get it. There are no givens in this game so we could all wait and still not be sure until we actually have our babies in our arms. I think we have to think positive but maybe check the return policy just in case (shit that we have to think like this!)

@YellowTack My MW last time said the general rule is to start buying baby stuff around 25 weeks onwards as babies born prem after then can be saved. However, if something catches your eye or something is on deal then get it. I saw a space saver cot recently and I’m tempted 😪

I’ve just had mine, all looks good and could see so much more than my private one 9 days ago. That’s me discharged from the ivf clinic now, woohoo.

Only drama was the clinic only has one loo 🙄 and I went with full bladder as was unsure what sort of scan I’d need. Of course they asked me to empty it, and I waited 15 mins to get in the loo while a man hogged it 😂 so ended up being escorted to the staff loo as was holding up the appts.

Not sure when we’ll start buying stuff. We had a browse in John Lewis at the weekend but as I’d been spotting I felt a bit nervous and weird being surrounded by all the very pregnant ladies and couples with babies, like I was a fake or an imposter who didn’t belong there! So didn’t really get in to it. We’ll probably start looking at things seriously after 12 week scan and tests.

@Sierra26 Good News from you too today ☺️ has your spotting stopped now? Did you mention it to the clinic? Clearly they have no concerns if they’ve discharged you.

@Sierra26 oh great news! Not about the man hogging the toilet tho 😂 but delighted it went well for you it's such a relief! I had such a lovely experience today compared to Friday so I'm slightly more relaxed now, my husbands thinks my son was measuring behind too as he was a small baby so hopefully it's just the same story again!

My sickness has really ramped up. It’s just awful! I have my 3 year old home with me today who keeps asking me to pretend to be Paw Patrol 😪 I’m also in the office tomorrow from 7:30 and I have real anxiety about it!

@PurpleRayne89 cold fizzy drink? Iv been drinking cold coke when I feel it hits and it does help! And I never drink fizzy drinks 😂 we had a lot of tele time over the wknd 🙈 now my son keeps saying that he is also sick 😂

@Daniki oh that made me laugh. My son wouldn’t come near me saying he doesn’t want to get sick. 🤒 I’ll get some sparking water to see if that helps!

General question to the group. How did you work out bow many weeks you are? I keep getting something different every time. I used my transfer date, collection date, blah blah and it’s different each time with online calculators.
