Anyone doing IVF round in September?✨

Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone else was doing ivf in September and fancied some company? We’re starting our first round next week! I’m also happy to join existing threads if anyone knows of any on here? As ever, sending baby dust and the best of vibes to one and all ☺️💫✨❤️

@Sunny406 fingers crossed for you. I’m 1dp5dt I had an early blast transferred yesterday. My other early blast caught up today (day 6) but it’s poor quality. 3CC I believe. The lab are monitoring until 2pm to see whether there is any improvements. I’m not holding my breath for this cycle or that embryo given the stats and this is my final rodeo as the sperm donor we used to conceive our son has gone into retirement and we wanted gill sibs. Ahh the joy.

I hope you get good news on OFT, I hope we all do tbf.

@PurpleRayne89 fingers crossed for you too. I think we’ll give it one more shot if this doesn’t work, but I’m certainly having a break. This was our only frozen and I can’t fathom the idea of going through the whole process again just yet. I’ve also lost faith in the UK system so will be heading abroad for our next round of it’s needed (here’s hoping it isn’t)! Xx

@Sunny406 you defo could test early but I highly recommend holding out as long as possible! Your head will be tortured. I tested positive at 4dp5dt and kept testing and I was in such a panic thinking it was a chemical as tests weren't really progressing. Someone recommended changing the tests and I did, thank god, and have had great dark lines since! BUT I wish I hadn't tested early and just lived in that hopeful bubble! Best of luck ❤️

This is going to sound really weird but all day I have been thinking that I am just going to have a gush of liquid pour out of me. It must be in my head but that’s how I feel. Losing the plot already 1 day post transfer.

@SlinkMcSlink Monday next week but I’m only available on the Wednesday due to work so it’ll be Wednesday for me. I not self testing this cycle. I cba with the cost and headache of it all.

When do you test?

Mines not until Friday 4th Wonder why I have to wait so long? I’m also 5 days past frozen transfer. I am trying my best to hold out until then. Trying to hold onto the positivity as long as possible! X

Mine is a fresh transfer, perhaps that is why. Frozen can take long to implant. My son was a frozen transfer and I got a faint BFP 3dp5dt and a strong one 4dp5dt.

Good luck @teampacey ! To answer your question, yes I tested this morning 8dp5dt and we have a faint positive! Not getting our hopes up yet as I’ve been down this road before, anything can happen between now and day 12 and beyond.

Id love to hear more about the Prague facilities- I feel the private clinics in the uk offer basic testing. If this doesn’t stick I want to explore what other tests I can do. I see some clinics in Greece offer a range, but I need to do proper research.

Just waiting on my beta test now, had a tiny speck of spotting this morn when I wiped, trying to remain positive 😂🙈 but the whole journey to clinic (2hrs) I was v nauseas!

Fantastic to see so many good news on this thread.

I am still in the TWW, 7dp5dt today, I have resisted to test so far but will test on Friday. At this stage I just need to know, this wait is so difficult. This is all I think about all day and everytime I go to the toilet I am paranoid my period will arrive!

Thanks everyone! All done and on the way to the airport. They got 8 out of 9 follicles- 7 mature and 1 to watch. My husband's sperm sample wasn't as good as it was in Jan. Concentration has dropped and abnormal morphology has increased. They are doing something called fertile chip to help improve success. We'll get daily updates now until I hopefully return for transfer on Monday. I feel fine. Just want to get home now.
