Hope you're all feeling ok post EC. 💕
Has anyone had any idea of timescale when the withdrawal bleed will be and how many periods before the FET cycle?

@EvaA17 @Faith2024 I hope your transfers go / went well today. I'm on the long journey back home with a grade a on board, fingers crossed this one sticks 🤞🤞

Faith2024 · 22/07/2024 16:02

@kirstysmbc congratualtions on the transfer. I had mine this afternoon and it went smoothly. Feeling positive and calm and hoping for the best for all of us.

Indigopantha · 22/07/2024 17:11

@kirstysmbc congratulations on your transfer! ✨

@EvaA17 @Faith2024 I hope your transfers went well, very excited for all of you! I fly weds and then my transfer is on Thursday! @Seasidegirll we should be the same day right?

@Seasidegirll and @SideEyeMoon congratulations on your transfers! Just the tww now. ✨

EvaA17 · 22/07/2024 18:27

@kirstysmbc and @Faith2024 happy to know both your transfers went well.
I've had mine this afternoon and it all went smoothly. A waft of emotions hit me as soon as it was done and I cried a little. I'm home now, going to take it easy and relax.

@Indigopantha ahhh good luck for Thursday! I hope it all goes well for you. 🤍

@Gnatalie16 yay your period has come! Hopefully the next weeks of taking oestrogen fly by and you can have your transfer soon xx

Sunnydaysahead1 · 22/07/2024 19:41

@SideEyeMoon @EvaA17 @Faith2024 @kirstysmbc @Seasidegirll congratulations on your transfers! (And sorry if I’ve missed anyone!) I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed for you all! I hope you’re all feeling ok ❤️

@EvaA17 I’m also getting super bloated from the cyclogest too, and have been feeling period pains in my lower back and stomach today too. I keep worrying about it but I guess it’s just side effects from the progesterone?? And I totally get you with the wave of emotions, I had a little cry after my transfer last time too, it’s overwhelming isn’t it. Hope you’ve got your feet up and relaxing now ❤️

@Indigopantha yay yes we’ll be transfer buddies! 😃🤞🏼 how are you feeling? Only 3 days away ahh

Thank you got my first scan booked for 31st July. We are moving next month too so have lots going on which will help it all go very quickly!

Mfiwife · 22/07/2024 20:40

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining the thread I also had my transfer today. It was really difficult and painful and the dr had to stop & get the more senior dr. Luckily he did manage to complete the transfer but not feeling very positive as our last fet failed due to what our consultant put down to a difficult trf 😕 has anyone else experienced a difficult transfer?

SamVan · 22/07/2024 20:42

So many transfers! Congrats everyone! I had my first scan today. 12.5mm lining and 12mm follicle. I was told they trigger at 18mm follicle size but my concern is that I’ll likely be at 18mm over the weekend and I can’t trigger then as I need to avoid weekends for the transfer date (due to needing sedation). Crossing all my fingers that it gets to 18mm by Friday!

Goldpanther · 23/07/2024 03:36

@SamVan I took my trigger at 8.30pm on Saturday and had my eggs collected at 8.30am on the Monday. My follicles were measuring around 20mm at this point.
Do you know what trigger you are using? I used Ovitrelle, My clinic were very specific about what time to take it etc.

Faith2024 · 23/07/2024 09:21

Congrats on everyone who had a transfer, hope it all went well and those that are about to.

I have taken a few days off and reading/binging on netflix now. I had a progesterone blood test yesterday right after transfer and I have been told to add one more cyclogest a day, so 3 now and 2x lubion injections as before. I was worried I wasnt doing it properly but maybe I just need more. I have a repeat blood test in 3 days, This was one of my main worries with medicated cycle but they are keeping on top of it.

SamVan · 23/07/2024 10:12

Hi @Goldpanther this is for the transfer not the collection so it’s 7 days after trigger then we do the transfer (natural modified). Follicle size is less important as we are just trying to get my body to produce the right hormones. I’m using ovitrelle.

LeoStar24 · 23/07/2024 12:31

Hey all!

I am seeing loads having their transfers! I hope the TWW is going well and you're keeping yourself busy!

I had my scan this morning, lining measuring at 10.5mm and my transfer booked in for 30th July! Quite anxious with all the additional injections to start in next few days!

Mfiwife · 23/07/2024 16:20

Sorry wrong thread!

Hollielouise · 23/07/2024 20:28

Having started this thread, I then ended up having my FET at the end of June so am quite off from the group now but just wanted to update that after testing positive at 4dp5dt, we had our first scan today at 6w+6 and saw our little heartbeat for the first time 💓

Wishing everyone the best of luck with transfers and scans... and TWWs. @EvaA17 Will be checking in to see how you're doing as my IVF cycle buddy from June! 🥰💖

@Hollielouise aw amazing!! I’m so so pleased for you!

EvaA17 · 23/07/2024 20:56

Thank you all for the well wishes. 🤍
I've definitely just taken it easy today, been napping and also reading to take my mind off things. Trying to stay calm and zen.
I hope everyone else in their TWW is doing okay!
@Gnatalie16 lovely! Ahh we are moving too mid-Aug, and I've completed all my packing. My husband is taking lead on the packing and moving and I'm just not taking that stress and heavy lifting at all! Good luck with everything x

Ginie2024 · 23/07/2024 20:59

Amazing news @Hollielouise, so happy for you ❤️ best of luck for the next few months 🥰

Anyone doing their FET in August..? 👀

EvaA17 · 23/07/2024 21:00

@Hollielouise ahhh that's lovely news and makes me so happy for you ❤️ massive congrats! Really really happy for you.

Aww you're so sweet! Really really hope I've got some positive news to share in two weeks. I don't know if I'm going to test early or not or if I should just wait it out. 🫣 xx

Kaybee1989 · 23/07/2024 21:05

@Hoppy1985 Sorry, I needed to take a break from everything. The tww was too much for me and in the end it was a BFN 😔 I’m not going to lie and say that it’s been easy and I’m staying positive and everything is fine, because it hasn’t been. But I know that in time it will be. The progesterone took its toll on me and made me a nervous, emotional, constipated mess. I’m glad that I’m slowly returning to my ‘normal’ self now after stopping the meds and can relax a bit and recover from the whole process. We want to try again but I definitely need to prepare myself mentally for round two. I realized that we kinda stopped living life and just focused on the treatment. So next time I’m going to try and keep a balance and enjoy the little things and not sweat the small stuff 💖
Good luck to everyone, wishing lots of BFP’s 🫶

Hoppy1985 · 23/07/2024 21:07

@Hollielouise ah awesome, I'm glad it's all going so well for you! I bet that scan was a wonderful feeling.

I got my period yesterday and have started my EV but I'm at the tail end of a bout of covid that has been pretty flu-like.

Anyone know if there's going to be any impact other than probably feeling extra shit for the first few days? I emailed the clinic at guys yesterday morning to check if it's ok or if I need to delay and start next cycle but no response yet so ATM just proceeding as normal

Hoppy1985 · 23/07/2024 21:44

@Kaybee1989 oh I'm so sorry you didn't get the result we were all hoping for. I'm glad you're feeling a little better but I know you're going to feel shit for a while. Sending hugs x

EvaA17 · 24/07/2024 00:04

@Kaybee1989 I am so sorry to hear about your negative result. I am glad you are feeling a bit better now. Please take the time to focus on yourself and do things that you love/enjoy. Surround yourself with people/things that make you happy.
Wishing you all the luck for the next round (for when you do want to start it). Look after yourself xx

kirstysmbc · 24/07/2024 07:29

@Kaybee1989 I'm so sorry for your bfn - I hope you and your partner are able to take some time to process everything before thinking about next steps. Sending lots of virtual hugs your way.

@Hollielouise Huge congratulations, so exciting to see a heartbeat and know that everything is doing well. I hope you are feeling well too.

@EvaA17 @Faith2024 @Mfiwife I hope you are all doing ok after transfer. When is OTD for you? Mine is 5 August but I am a serial early tester so will prob start testing this weekend.

@Faith2024 That's a lot of progesterone you're on! What was your level if you don't mind me asking? My UK clinic only wanted 30pmol on transfer day, but I've heard some asking for 100!

Faith2024 · 24/07/2024 10:58

@Kaybee1989 I am sorry, this sounds rough I hope you and your partner will pull through this together. Much love.

@kirstysmbc I hope you are home now and able to rest a little?

My clinic is known to go big on meds but also they like to keep IVF pregnancies progesterone above a 100, mine was 85. She didn't seem worried. She said in a natural pregnancy they wouldn't add any more. I guess each clinic does their own thing but I trust my doctor and her advice has so far only led to good outcomes. Just hoping for the best!

Official test day is 5th August, doc said I could do it 1-2nd really. I had a positive on day 10 with my first child but it wasn’t an IVF pregnancy. I was going to wait at least till 30th but you are tempting me @kirstysmbc.

Faith2024 · 24/07/2024 11:06

I forgot to add I haven’t done a pregnancy test in 18 months, any good early response tests anyone can recommend?
