@EggsFrozenNow Lol I hear that a lot. I get more blasé with every attempt that doesn't work so maybe that will do it for me haha

I could probably up my CoQ10 since my Proceive Max only has 40-60mg. I've become a bit of an acupuncture believer myself. It's gotten me to such a serene place and it's making the second IVF cycle way easier to cope with than the first. But I think that it's doing something more than that, as I'm tracking my BBT via Apple Watch and my temp curves are always so smooth in the months that I do acupuncture, with no zig zags, plus the temperatures are higher for longer in the second half of the cycle and after that my periods are slightly heavier - I think it helps me with the lining too, but hard to know. It can't hurt, that's for sure.

@ThePeachGoose Thank you! Yes i think you can safely up your dose for CoQ10/Ubiquinol, I've been asked by dr to take 200mg each time twice a day and I've seen other girls being asked to take more

Hey, how’s everyone ? we got a call yesterday and we got booked in for fresh transfer tomorrow .. our 3 day update was out of the 5 that were mature and fertilised . 3 were really strong look so far and 2 a bit poorer but might catch up might not .. so hoping that 3 will be of good quility .. Will get the next update tomorrow when we go into the clinic for our transfer 🤞🏽

Anyone 4 days past 5dt ? Do you feel any different or those further along on our journey any advice

I’m now 9dp5dt. Tested again this morning and line is getting very dark now. I just can’t believe it! I called my clinic today to tell them even though it is a day early so I’m waiting for someone to call me back to tell me the next steps.

@AnnieStar12 no not testing yet, my beta test is Tuesday I feel totally normal, was hoping for some symptoms but literally nothing so doubt it's been a sticky bean

Hey ladies did anyone have issues sleeping during the TWW? I keep waking within 4-5hrs. I'm usually a heavy sleeper

@positivepetal Yeah I wake up at 1am and 3am and 6am every night, apparently it’s a pregnancy symptom but could be progesterone I don’t know!

@positivepetal yes been having the same thing here. It’s killing me, I’m only managing to sleep in short blocks am shattered all the time!!

@AnnieStar12 thays great you line us getting darker !! Yay ! Hopefully they book you in for a scan in a few weeks !! 🥰

It’s really early to be seeing symptoms, so I wouldn’t assume it’s not worked yet.

Hello everyone 👋🏻 I had my egg retrieval this morning and we’re starting with 16 eggs. An improvement on our 12 from last year.

Lying in bed recovering & watching the Kardashians now. We had 6 great quality last time but various things happened so we’re back to square one.

@HelloJillll I totally understand, I had my EC last Friday, and I had this intense fear and anxiety the following 5 days. If only there was a guarantee! But having said that it's crucial for you to let your body rest/recover from the EC and replenish your energy. Fingers crossed they will have strong embryos for you at the end. Will your clinic be doing day 3 and day 5 updates? And are you having a fresh or frozen transfer?

@camelinastorm I'm with you here! Not had any symptoms other than the disturbed sleep so im also not sure if its stuck- still being hopeful though!

Hello Everyone,

I am yet to receive my blood result for today. However, I stopped my Cyclogest pressaries Wednesday and my period started today. So it is a very definitive BFN. I requested my progesterone result which the blood was drawn day if transfer and it was double that for optimal implantation which I’m extremely upset about. My embryo had 0% chance of implanting even if it wanted to as my lining wouldn’t have been receptive. The progesterone levels were similar to the third trimester of pregnancy. Given the odd which were already stacked against us, this is disheartening to know that my cycle could have potentially have failed due to human oversight. I’ve let the clinic know my period has started and not one person has contacted me to discuss anything or even say sorry your cycle didn’t work. I’m not sure how to feel about all of this right now but I’m extremely hurt. Any advice would be most appreciated. 🫤

My Cycle should have been abandoned and my 5 day blast should have been frozen. I’m not sure why this decision wasn’t made. Ugh 😩

What progesterone where you on? My clinic doesn’t test progesterone levels at any point of the process.

@PurpleRayne89 Really sorry it’s not worked this time for you. Where did you hear about raised progesterone? I’ve not heard that before and my clinic didn’t test me at any point. I honestly don’t think it would have been because of that that it failed, it’s never guaranteed even if everything is perfect unfortunately - I think they should make that more clear to people. All my friends think if you do IVF it’s a given you’ll have a baby from it and think I’m crazy for worrying so much. I’d try not to put all the emphasis on that and wait until you speak with the consultant at your next appointment to discuss next steps, rather than make yourself crazy wondering what if.
It’s rubbish your clinic didn’t console you in any way - you’d expect them to. Sending hugs x

@amkw Thank you, it’s very kind of you. @HopefulllHolly thanks for your message. It’s common for clinics to cancel a cycle if the progesterone level is too high. The progesterone level needs to match the time of the cycle. If it’s too low the embryo cannot implant and too high the lining isn’t receptive. They’re are loads of studies around it and lots of information online. It’s true that IVF isn’t a guarantee but with mistake like this, it’s bolsters the chances of a failed cycle. I will discuss the entire experience with my doctor so we can maybe approach it from a different approach and also at a different pace as I feel it was rushed. My progesterone level should have been checked a few days prior to transfer and not on the day which didn’t leave room for any eventualities. I will also ask for more transparency. ☺️
