Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

That's my plan 🙈
And this is our first cycle

@Eljane34 that’s great your first scan went well, is this your first round?

my clinic is within an NHS hospital. I’m in Northern Ireland so we only have one NHS clinic and 2 private clinics so they don’t outsource it the way I think they do sometimes in England. We were going to go private as we assumed NHS wait times would be long but were shocked from contacting our GP to getting to top of the list was only about 6 months. We got the referral done privately though as our GP was a bit useless.

I only really get to catch up on these messages at the end of the day, so it's great to read all your updates on how you're getting on!

@Sherr33 I'm doing OK - only 4 more days of norethisterone and not had many side effects (lucky me) apart from skin breakouts which is inevitable with hormone stuff. I'm starting stims a week on Friday so obviously nervous about that.

I've been taking 2mg melatonin supplements as a friend recommended they can help with egg quality and the side effect of that is getting great sleep, so probably worth it even just for that! Also doing acupuncture which I absolutely love. No idea if it does anything but makes me feel good, so I'll take it!

If I cant afford to do the acupuncture every week are there specific times during the ivf cycle that they suggest. I did start them last year for 2 months and I absolutely loved how relaxed I felt I wish I'd waited and used those ££ for the actual cycle. Its funny how invested and on top of things I was last year and now when the actual cycle is here im bloody all over the place 🤦‍♀️

I think it’s potentially useful even for the 2-3 weeks before EC, so worth a try if you fancy it. You can buy them easily through online pharmacies. With the acupuncture, mine suggested doing a session in the first week of stims, and another before the embryo transfer but I think they’ll happily come up with a plan for you if you can’t do it every week (I can’t either!)

@Bnichols89 do you have a link for somewhere i can order it?, or which online pharmacy

I used Numan which is marketed at men 😂 but it’s got a good reputation.

Hope everyone is keeping well 😊I have just joined this thread today. I was started on 300 Gonal F x 2 today and tomorrow, then cut to 300 Gonal F once a day and adding in Fryemadel. I am booked in for bloods on Sunday and then bloods and a scan on Wednesday. Praying we have better luck the cycle as had a terrible round back in September. Good luck everyone x

You were right, 1st Feb is my lucky day, AF HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! Omg I've never been so happy to come on😂

Update on myself. I've now got cold sores and feel really drained im not sure if its the tablets but I actually feel rotten.

@Sherr33 Thank you! So I'm doing a mild protocol with Create using Gonal F 125iu, Cetrotide and Ovitrelle to trigger! I start my injections tomorrow night and just booked my first scan for Monday morning, sorry to hear your not feeling well 😢how long do you have left of the tablets?

Hi everyone hope everyone is doing OK @Sherr33 I have cold sores aswel acne spots on my neck and I got a headache yesterday evening and it's still not gone it's that bad I actually have a blurr in my eye and my husband actually said to me last night that my eye looked swelled it's obviously the tablets I will be glad when there finish on Monday

@Sherr33 @Cat191 how rubbish the way it's making you both feel! 😔how long after you finish the tablets do you start injections?

@waitingforourmiracle 5 days for me. 10th 11th 12th 13th and 14th il be tablet / med free whoop. Then 15th hopefully 💉

I am with Care as well! We are doing ivf with icsi and it is also our first cycle. Currently on day 3 of stims now.

If all goes well hopefully egg collection around mid Feb!

Hi, hope everyone is getting on well with their cycles.

can I ask do you take your injections at the exact same time every day? I’ve to take one in the morning and one in the evening for a while but I’m trying to work out what is the best time for it as some of my scans are very early in the morning so want to make sure I’m able to take my injection on time those days too

Hi @Eggsellenté , I will be taking 150 of gonal f as well, how are you feeling with it? How have you found doing to injections? Im due to start mine towards to end of feb with egg collection hopefully start of March

@180monkeys hi, my dr is very strict re timing: +/-15 mins, but I had only evening ones. Also they are strict regarding where to inject- only upper leg front, not tummy..

@180monkeys mine are Gonal-F and Ganiletrix and both of them have a 2 hour window, and apparently it's fine as long as it's within the window. All my scans are at 11am, and I can't start the first Ganiletrix (normally 6-8am) until after my first scan anyway, so I don't think that the timings can be that important? But @TT82 it sounds like your doctors are much stricter, so maybe it depends on which drugs it is.

@TT82 @Bnichols89 thanks for your replies. I have just got my schedule but am going for an appointment on Monday so will find out more about the timing then hopefully.

I am just worrying because they’ve put 7am on some of my injections on my calendar but my scans are at 7.30 so I will have to leave the house before 7 but hopefully will be ok to do it even half an hour early those days.

are you both at the injection stage now? Is this your first cycles?

@Bnichols89 , @180monkeys no, I think it is because I am in Switzerland and they are really strict to obey the rules 😅🙈 I also think a bigger window should be ok, but check with your clinic. Then trigger shot they gave me 5mins window! I was sooooo stressing not to miss. But the EC is really scheduled and no delays to a minute too
I am waiting for AF next week, then will start downregg pill and injections only mid February or later. I just hope AF arrives a bit earlier as i was supposed to start pills today...but cycles got a bit longer. Will be my 3d EC....
