@Bnichols89 aw thats reassuring and I hope so honestly. Its a good job I checked my plan because I was so sure its one tablet a day and then I read the box and my plan sheet 1 tablet 3 times for 17 days 😒

I dont know how to feel maybe someone can advise. Ive a provisional job offer and they going through pre employment checks but rough start date would be March. From my current job I took time off for myself throughout the year because I have things booked/planned and I also have it where I'm currently working more days at home than in office but I am worried this new job is just going to complicate things for me. I don't know what to do

Hi I didn't actually choose the add ons Dr omar in care fertility done up my protocol and that's what was on it I originally wanted me to do pgt testing but I taught about it and refused because with my miscarriages there was no chromosome issues so I didn't think I needed it so I changed that cycle to a fresh cycle and there the add ons I got lol

Drink 3 spoons of Andrews salts and it will bring it on

These seem to be sold out everywhere, possibly discontinued? Have you ever tried Eno's Salts as an alternative?

Cat191 · 24/01/2024 11:17

You should be able to get it in a chemist sometime ls I do see them in behind the counter in a service station... no I never tried it but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to give it a try

@Cat191 impulsive me couldn't wait so I've ordered the eno salts 😂here's hoping it moves things along! Thank you x

Cat191 · 24/01/2024 11:30

It's annoying when they won't come when you want them to and the times your hoping they don't come that's when they come lol I hope they work for you

waitingforourmiracle · 24/01/2024 11:34

@Cat191 tell me about it! I've eaten 5000 oranges, tried stretching, cycling every other day, OH is sick of DTD in the hope that helps 😂fingers crossed x

Cat191 · 24/01/2024 12:37

Applecider vinegar is soppose to be good but I think your probably stressing about it and stress delays it more ya should forget about it and then it might come

waitingforourmiracle · 24/01/2024 13:13

@Cat191 easier said than done 😅

Cat191 · 24/01/2024 14:14

@Sherr33 so we went for embryo glue as it seemed like a no brainer! Spending so much money already, what’s a couple hundred more! We have had to go private because the referal wait time on theNHS was so long and time isn’t on my side with the low AMH. We have paid through access and got the multi cycle round of 2 tries.

I thought the blastocyst culture was what you had to have! Didn’t know it was an option, I don’t even know what it does!

And I haven’t heard of Zymot? What does it help with for the sperm?

waitingforourmiracle · 25/01/2024 09:56

@Eljane34 Is embryo glue literally what it sounds like 😂can they tell you how likely it is to help implant? I've never heard of it before

Sherr33 · 25/01/2024 10:28

@waitingforourmiracle haha indeed it is. Ive had a friends sister use this as an ad on she is currently 3 months pregnant

@Eljane34 it helps them select the good quality sperm and because we have MFI i thought it would help in that area

For us all these were as extras and I just went on their site to select what we thought would help our chances without breaking the bank balance. We were contemplating the blastocyst culture but because I couldn't find much info or case studies I didnt go ahead with it.

Sherr33 · 26/01/2024 09:02

Hi im on day 3 of my tablets Northisterone (cycle day 18).

I feel r3ally gassy and bloated for some reason, tired, head aches and this morning I've been getting cramps like im about to start my period but I know that's not happening. I wish I had a way to get rid of this bloated feeling though it makes me feel blurgh

waitingforourmiracle · 26/01/2024 12:18

I'm stillllll waiting for AF! Cycle day 39 today!

@Sherr33 hope you feel better soon x

Cat191 · 26/01/2024 16:02

Hi I started my fematab 2mg on 3 a day I've 2 taken so far today so far I feel OK just like a heartburn.. I don't know why I felt so emotional yesterday maybe it's just the taught of what I'm about to start lol @Sherr33 you should try water it might help with the bloating @waitingforourmiracle did you try the Andrew liver salts

Eljane34 · 27/01/2024 09:02

@Sherr33 and @Cat191 how are you feeling?? Will you both be doing the stimulating injections at some point? what are the tablets doing?

I am due on AF some time next week, could be Tuesday could be Friday, really just depends when/if I ovulated! I have the scan booked in for the Friday, but can be changed as it’s need to be on day 1 or 2. Then I will start straight with the injections!

@Cat191 I am also very emotional right now, I can feel it building as it gets closer! We’re all about to go through a massive thing and also, I don’t know about anyone else, but I never thought I would have needed IVF! So many of my friends have had it and I thought, surely the statistics of another one in our friendship group needed IVF is too high… it’s mad, and emotional and just a lot to process!

@waitingforourmiracle I’ll attach my fertility friend screen shot of when I didn’t ovulate and had no period, then ovulated then had a normal period. This was after a miscarriage so I think my cycle got a bit messed up. Are you checking for ovulation? I ovulated on day 37, then AF came day 48!

Also @Sherr33 this is what I just read up about blastocyst culture - my clinic use it (https://hertsandessexfertility.com/treatments/blastocyst-culture-and-transfer/) if the blastocyst gets past day 3, it helps to prolong and help it get to day 5, which is what we want, but, not all reach day 5! Can still be transferred at day 2/3, if it gets to day 5 it’s a more mature stronger embryo 🤞

Maybe your clinic will ask you when you are at that point?

Also, can’t remember if you have all said - is anyone doing this through the NHS? We had to go private because the wait time was so long 😔. Just paid £8.5k for 2 cycle package (buying two has a huge discount and it’s lucky for it to work first time round!) then we have the cost of all the meds!!!!

Cat191 · 27/01/2024 18:10

Hi @Eljane34 I'm doing OK today is my second day on the tablets I'm starting to get side effects like a migraine and my tongue feels like leather lol I think there for down regulation or something they thicken your womb but I will still get a period next week while I'm on them and I start the injections on the 6th of February... yes its just an emotional time and where not even half way yet lol I never taught I needed ivf either tbh but it's over my husband having high dfi and he's on a statin that's causing it.. its just stupid how one tablet helps one thing and damages something else... I'm in Ireland and I have to pay for mine privately I did enquire about the one on the NHS and they told me I didn't qualify for it after 6 miscarriages because I was getting pregnant and they didn't think icsi would guarantee me a child

Sherr33 · 27/01/2024 21:49

@Eljane34 the tablets im taking at the moment are to prevent period/ovulation etc and they just want everything to happen on certain dates so I'm on these for 17 days then hopefully have my period and then 15/02 I will start my first lot of injections gonal f

I am going to look into the blastogen culture and if needed add on. At this point I'm not bothered about the extra costs because il feel like I've done all I can

So I’ve just had some very very light spotting and I’m only on day 22! I’m due on from Tuesday onwards. My cycles vary from 25-28 days, but never as short at 22/23.

Very strange, not sure what to think?!?

Cat191 · 27/01/2024 23:43

@Eljane34 it could be early due to stress or if you happen to take the morning after pill in the last 3 months it can do that
