@Sherr33 were you working throughout your treatment?

Sherr33 · 15/03/2024 04:33

@180monkeys same i found stims okay apart from being bloated and tired. Usually before my period my moods are so low I was worried due to all these hormonal changes I might feel the same but thankfully I didn't. I took the day of transfer and the following day off. I think next time I'm going to take off 2 weeks and I will not be going back to normal house hold chores and constantly being on my feet so early after the transfer. Definitely feel like that is what has impacted my transfer. Not resting and not continuing with my supplements but who knows for sure. I hope you get your positive result 🙏

@Sherr33 its so hard to know what’s best after transfer isn’t it. I am taking it easy but still trying to exercise to make sure I get the blood flowing but it hard to know what is enough and what is too much. Thank you! I hope your FET will be a success too ❤️

Okeydokedeva · 15/03/2024 23:33

Transfer done. Currently pupo. I have a good feeling about it. How is everyone else?

Eljane34 · 16/03/2024 06:30

@Sherr33 so sorry to hear about your negative, it is SO shit. Waiting all that time to then find out it’s negative, I really struggled with that part, the waiting. The TWW was the worst. So glad you have 5 frozen, that’s amazing!

I can’t remember everyone but the majority of us it’s been either a negative result, with a frozen transfer as next option or a freeze all round. It would be good to set up another group for the April FETers. Has anyone made one already?

Good luck to those in TWW and those that have had positives! I’ll still be checking in on this group as I want to see the updates of positivity. Scary though how little the number is!

Mymiraclebb · 16/03/2024 14:53

@Okeydokedeva i am goat that you got a good feeling about it as it might help you in the TWW. I am actually 3dp5dt and it looked like it have been forever.
@180monkeys @TT82 how are you doing and everyone else.

TT82 · 16/03/2024 17:26

@Mymiraclebb hi, I am okish now, thank you for asking. We sent 4 embryos for testing, that will take 4 weeks min 😒. I don't have hope, though this cycle was the best so far in terms of grading. 12 fertilised out of 14 mature and 3 day5 and 1 day6. I promised myself this one last, but now thinking o maybe another one 🤦🏻‍♀️
I have some problems with liver/tummy or just still reacting to big hormonal swing: bitter raste in my mouth, my tongue from time to time numbs and gets tingling, same inside mouth, lasts a few hours then normal.. Has anyone had this reaction to medicine or hormones?

Hope you are all well, unfortunately won't join you in April FET xx

180monkeys · 16/03/2024 18:03

@Mymiraclebb I’m ok thanks, just a bit of a headache today but could be totally unrelated to anything. Feels like the wait is starting to drag now though! How are you getting on?

@TT82 good luck for your test results. 4 weeks seems so long sorry you have to wait that long. I haven’t had any of those symptoms, when did you stop taking the medicines? Hope you’re feeling better soon!

TT82 · 16/03/2024 18:07

@180monkeys hope you have good news soon! 🙏
They started last days of norethisteron, then was better a day-two, then again- comes and go randomly but frequent, not every day now though. I think probably my body/liver doesn't like more medicine or hormones swing.

180monkeys · 16/03/2024 18:12

@TT82 that sounds really annoying. Hopefully it was pass soon for you

Hi everyone, I only posted on here once at the start of my cycle but I've been following everyone's journeys. Just wanted to share some positive news as I know it feels like there hasn't been much this month!

I'm 35, trying for 3 years, never been pg, MF infertility.

1st cycle (in September): 11 eggs, 9 mature, 1 fertilised with ICSI, 1 low grade day 5 blastocyst, BFN

2nd cycle (this one): 17 eggs, 14 mature, 8 fertilised with PICSI and calcium ionophore, 4 day 5 blastocysts, 5AA transferred fresh and a BFP today! I didn't test early (today is my OTD) but I've had late onset OHSS all week and did some googling yesterday which convinced me (/got my hopes up) that it'd probably be a BFP.

Sending you all the good luck and baby dust for your next steps whether that's a fresh cycle or FET. This journey is so hard xxx

@TT82 hope you get some good one out of those 4 and sorry you are not feeling and hope it get better soon. No I didn’t have any of those symptoms. Medications can be horrible sometimes and our bodies are unpredictable too.

@180monkeys I can imagine. Even that I kept busy with my little one I cannot take my head off it. I have Zero symptoms apart from light stomach pain when I am at rest. Huummm days are going so slow.

@taytay2020 big congratulations. I am happy for you. Hope for more positive soon. Please share any symptoms if you can.

Btowngirl · 17/03/2024 13:29

@taytay2020 amazing news, congratulations 🥳

Okeydokedeva · 17/03/2024 20:25

@taytay2020 that’s fabulous! Many congrats! I know what those three years were like- we too had several rounds. X

i am a week post transfer now. Has some fanny dagger stabs last few days but nothing else really. Trying to keep calm and carry on. No point testing early so keeping tests out the house!!!

Fingers crossed for all x

180monkeys · 18/03/2024 08:32

Does anyone know would a test on the evening of 9dp5dt would likely be accurate or would it need to be first thing in the morning at that stage?

I would go for FMU personally as the hcg is only meant to start on 5-6 days post transfer, just for piece of mind really.

180monkeys · 18/03/2024 08:56

@Btowngirl thanks for your reply. Looks like I’m going to have to wait until Saturday then as don’t want to have to do it before my husband goes to work in case it’s not the news we’d hoped for wouldn’t be nice having to work the whole day after finding out and I’d be home alone all day too. Saturday just feels very far away right now!!

Btowngirl · 18/03/2024 09:09

@180monkeys ah that’s a shame! Maybe worth giving the eve a to go then with a sensitive test? Esp if you hold your pee as long as possible? I was just nervy of ambiguous results!

180monkeys · 18/03/2024 09:25

@Btowngirl yes I’m really stuck in two minds about what to do! I want to know that the result is correct but am also dying to know! lol. I’m only on day 7 atm. I got some easy at home tests which I thought were 10mIU/ml sensitivity but looking on the box now it doesn’t actually say

Btowngirl · 18/03/2024 09:39

Oh that’s a shame! We used the cheap Amazon ones with the 10mIU/ml sensitivity and they worked for us with a vvvvv faint line on 7dpt so maybe they would have shown in an eve, I just know the advice is FMU!

taytay2020 · 18/03/2024 10:06

Thanks everyone!

@okeydokediva Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I also wasn't tempted to test early - would always rather get a definitive result on OTD than a confusing one earlier.

I don't really have any symptoms that are obviously pregnancy (so I'm still finding it quite hard to believe to be honest!). The progesterone I was given by my clinic made my boobs really sore before transfer even happened, and the OHSS kicked in on 5dp5dt and resulted in some very very uncomfortable bloating - I guess that was a symptom, technically (it would have been caused by the new rush of hcg), but thankfully it's starting to ease now.
