Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

That's my plan 🙈
And this is our first cycle

@camelinastorm sorry for your negative. It’s such a hard process.

I think we are also out. We did get a great BfP on day 15 and again on day 16,17,18 and got booked in for a scan mid March. Unfortunately in the evening of day 19 (Saturday) I started what I can only think is my period. Heavy fresh bleed with clots that’s lasted all of today also. Although our positives are still strong I imagine it’s only matter of time that they dip as the HCG goes out of the system.

horrible weekend. We will call the clinic tomorrow when they open. It was our last chance as we paid so much for private and this one was the NhS funded but we only got one egg fertilised. It was our last chance saloon.

it was amazing to be pregnant with my partner though, even if only for a few days.

@wishinghard2 I'm so sorry for your news. I know what you mean about being happy just for the early pregnancy though.

@Cloclo93 I was scanned again today and now have a ridiculous 54 follicles, so i'm very uncomfortable. I can barely walk or stand up straight. 40 are over 10mm but most too small to be of use. I only have a few that are over 15mm.

Have any of you triggered with Prostrap due to the Buserelin shortage? What are Prostrap side effects, the night you first take it, and the days after?

@Btowngirl I got my period 7 dpt and it shook me so I took a break from the thread.
I didn't really expect it to stick first round but it was still hard.
I got all the symptoms of pregnancy I think which gave me false hope lol
There are alot of people on this thread now so it's difficult to keep up with everyone's progress. How are you doing?

@Lasagne30 oh no I’m so sorry! Totally understand taking a break from the thread and also agree it’s hard to keep up. I’ve been thinking of you as we were on a similar timeline. Hope you have had plenty of rest to process and sending posi vibes for next time ❤️

Hi everyone, feeling quite disappointed today. I've had our day 5 results and they've only managed to freeze one embryo, a quite poor quality 4BC one. There's still a few more that are still dividing and they'll check them again tomorrow to see if they can be frozen, but feeling a bit gutted that the news isn't better. After getting so many fertilised eggs I really hoped we might have a good quality one and now just feeling like this might not happen this time. I'm also now gutted we're not doing a fresh transfer, since we might've been able to use a less good quality embryo and at least get another chance, but I've definitely got OHSS symptoms so realise that would've been even worse with a fresh. Anyway still hopeful but a bit down today.

@Bnichols89 I'm in exactly the same situation, only 1 made it to blast and it was graded a 4CC, I've cried so much this week, it's so tough, especially knowing we have to wait now for the transfer with not much hope. Everything crossed for your update tomorrow there is still a chance more make it xxx

Hi all. On egg collection day did anyone partner feel like they didn't provide enough of a sample? I mean surely they would have said something if they thought it was too less?

I think so, they would have said something, so try not to worry!

@TT82 yes it was egg collection today for us. I felt unwell when I came out of theatre blood pressure was low, felt sick and just in pain. But I had a drip put in and a pessary inserted to help with the pain. I had 10 collected. I asked because I did have 18 follicles they said some empty and some just not easily accessible. And the amount of bleeding I had I thought it was a period but they said no its just the needle going in to collect the eggs. 🤦‍♀️ when I met up with my partner he wasnt happy because he said he didnt produce enough but i just reassured him and said if it wasnt they would have said something.
currently on sofa at home with a headache and cramping. Hope everyone else is well.

You still have one and that could be the one that will turn into your little baby! Try not to over stress it's still very possible x

So sorry to read you had a bas experience 😔 10 is a good number! Hopefully in 5 days there will be positive news 🙏
My first cycle we had 8 collected, 7 fertilised and 4 day 5 embryos. But second cycle lots of fertilised but only 2 on day 5. I actually think lower number is better. This time looks like even worse for me with high numbers, so I don't have any hope on quality ☹️

10 is a fantastic number! Well done! I wouldn't worry about the amount of semen a little teaspoon of semen would still have millions of sperm

@Sherr33 10 is a good number! I agree that they would have told you if sample wasn't enough!

I had scan today was hoping I could trigger tonight. I have 2-3 ready follicles that are ready and several more around 15-16mm. They want to give them 2 more days to grow so have higher chance of mature eggs, so few more stims to go! I had 22 follicles in total so definitely looking like a freeze all.

@Sherr33 well done and don't worry about the sperm sample - my husband said his was quite small and there was plenty there. They do the insemination/ICSI straight away so I'm sure they'd have said if there was any problem. Take good care - hot water bottles and lots of fluids!

Glad to hear everyone is pressing forward and I remain keeping my fingers crossed for you all. It’s such a hard journey isn’t it.

a little update on us. We got through to the clinic this morning and they bought the scan forward to 8th March but basically told us there is nothing they can do right now and advised to keep testing every 3 days. If our BFP turns negative it’s a chemical and the s a will be cancelled.

this morning, 36 hours after I started bleeding we still had a BFP and the reading of 2-3 weeks. The bleeding has finally stopped after a fair amount of clots and fresh blood.

im not so positive but my partner is refusing to think the worst and remaining positive. So now we start a horrible wait again every 3 and prey for our one embryo miracle

@wishinghard2 I had this, I went to my local hospital and saw early pregnancy unit, who scanned weekly and done bloods every 2 days to track hormones. I couldn't wait, it was driving me mad.... I wish you the absolute best x

I think something similar happen a girl on this tread or maybe another, they had bleeding fully thought they were miss carrying but turns out they weren't! Praying yours is also a success story 🙏

I have a question I am taking the lubion injection 1x and 2x pessaries. The pessary will be in evening but the lubion I wanted to do in morning.

Does it matter what time I do it? Or does it have to be a fixed time going forward like the stims?

@Lasagne30 sorry to hear it makes total sense to take a break from it all.

@mt9m is this number normal for you or were you on a high dose for stims?

You can do it at any time, but it has to be approx the same time daily x

Hi all, so test day is tomorrow and we caved and did a test today and it’s negative. I did a clear blue standard one, and a first response 6 day early, both negative. Will need to do another test tomorrow and then ring the clinic to say it’s negative.

After this whole long process, to see negative just feels awful. We have two frozen embryos so at least we have those to fall back on, but it’s just the time, the waiting, the meds, the emotions. It doesn’t help that EVERYONE I know is either pregnant or has a baby.

everything happens for a reason I suppose. Hope everyone else is getting on ok x

Please may i join? Transfer around 12th March. Have one ds4 and trying for the fourth time, for another. I’m scared and emotional. I want it to work but I’m also scared about handling two children. And I am scared of the grief if it doesn’t work as it is our last embryo. Hand hold!
