Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

That's my plan 🙈
And this is our first cycle

@camelinastorm I'm stressing, should I know when my collection is haha!! When I asked yesterday I was just told we're taking each day as it comes and they couldn't tell me!! It will be next week just not sure when!

@camelinastorm oooo that is exciting news. I can't recall are you doing a frozen embryo transfer or was this a fresh cycle

@waitingforourmiracle to ease your mind you can ask why the dosage wasn't increased you might find theyl actually have an answer that will put your mind at ease. Maybe during measurements it was on par with what they were expecting and allowing it a few more days knew that they'd be where they wanted them in terms of measurements?

@Sherr33 yes frozen this time had a chemical over Xmas.

@waitingforourmiracle on my fresh they penciled me in for EC but didn't find out the actual day until 5 days before

@camelinastorm how have you found it this time compared to fresh cycle? Did you take time off or do anything different? I hope this month is a success for you 🙏🙏🙏

I was already given a potential collection date which is 26/02 so I'm kind of hoping it actually falls on that day otherwise il have to change my days off from work again 😅

Not taken time off I'm having acupuncture tomorrow but don't actually know wat to ask for , it's local so need to stay low kept on what I'm going for
The last one I had 10 days of positive tests so it implanted just maybe was a faulty day 3 , this time they are day 5 grade 5bc and 3 BB so fingers crossed
It all seems very easy tbh literally tablets and pesserys, it's just the waiting game really that's a pain, no down regs with my clinic so it's straight in on normal cycle

@Sherr33 I'll ask the question tomorrow! I think I've just got in my own head abit!

@waitingforourmiracle im constantly up and down with what I'm thinking. My partner probably thinks I've gone bonkers.

@camelinastorm ah I see. I don't think my clinic do day 3 transfers which kind of worries me because thats a potential i know its not the best quality but just feel maybe it should be considered. I'm not sure though or have enough knowledge to truly comment on that.

So just been told I can't get the afternoon off for my transfer, I'm gutted I acydo not know what to do.... Can this date be changed or is it set 😬😬

@camelinastorm is this time off from your work place? What reason did you give them? I mean I think dates are quite strict with the whole process but your clinic will be able to shed some light on that. I mean the only thing I'd do if that was me is self certify for several days and take time off sick.

@camelinastorm do your work know the reason why you need the time off?

Yes they know however they have 90% on annual leave that's been booked for months my last min booking as only found out yesterday we could go ahead they have said it's impossible 😭

@camelinastorm maybe try talking to your clinic to see if there is any movement but I agree with @Sherr33 I bet the date they pick is the date it needs to be 😔

@camelinastorm thats understandable that people have booked it off in advance but with this process we don't have the luxury of a fixed date to give in advance? Surely they can understand that? I mean im getting annoyed at that and its not even me in the situation. Sorry but they need to be a lot more sensitive and understanding and for them to be aware of why you're wanting the time off and saying no is just infuriating.

Are any of your colleagues aware? Maybe someone doesn't mind taking their leave at a later date? If not then I'm sorry but youl just have to get a sick note

@Sherr33 yes quite frustrating, and colleagues no, tbh not that close with them to discuss private issues, it's so frustrating as I couldn't even have booked the week off just incase, but I didn't know we could even go this month until my scan, so frustrating I'm thinking lunch break for an appointment then don't return, wrong yes but I needed the less stress as possible and this isn't helping eak

On a positive note I feel great and have acupuncture booked 🤣

After my next EC which is not util about the 17th I ll start looking into the FET process. Doing it step by step as there are so many steps/hurdles to get past.

@Eljane34 That sucks! Try and stay positive, a lot can change in a day or 2.
@waitingforourmiracle See I always thought that when they do the scans mid cycle that it was premature and gives you cause for concern. I understand that it can be for monitoring but if I had had a scan mid cycle would I have been at the same stage? Stay positive!
@camelinastorm I am due on Monday if all goes well! Are you doing the vaginal progesterone pills too?

Guys I am in a fair bit of pain now. Day of procedure was fine, second day I felt a bit off but today, by golly, I feel terrible.
I'm trying to eat lots of fibre to make myself more regular but it's not really working.
I woke up with sweats and double vision this morning, as well as feeling so nauseas I almost threw up. Not having trouble urinating but I feel like more should be coming out.
I'm going to call my nurse when it opens to make sure it's normal because I want to be feeling much better before transfer on Monday.

@camelinastorm Also with work-if you tell them it's a medical procedure they can't not give you the time off. Don't ask-tell.
You don't need to go in to details but with my workplace I just said to them look I've got some upcoming medical appointments and they will be late notice. My health comes first. They weren't happy but what are they gunna do? Fire me? Haha

@Lasagne30 hope you start to feel better, I remember bloating and a strange pulling feeling, I'm sure the clinic will reassure you.

Yes I'm thinking that, it's not my problem admim have allowed 90A% of the staff to book the same day off, I know as it's half term but unfortunately this is a natural cycle so can't be adjusted

@Lasagne30 that sounds awful. I hope its not something serious like a UTI although I'm not sure that can even happen after EC. Or is it due to being constipated? Either way sounds horrible and hopefully they can suggest something to help. X

Hi all.

I was due to start taking injections for egg retrieval this weekend but my period is a few days late when it is normally very, very regular. I don’t even have symptoms that it’s on its way (I am definitely not pregnant).

Has anyone had a similar experience?

@Crushed23 Hi im sure someone here can probably relate. Mine are usually regular but there will be times they are delayed a day or 2

Is there anyone on here going to the gym or working out during their cycle. I havent been since the side effects kicked in and I don't want to do anything that will put my cycle at risk was wondering what anyone was doing to stay active?

@Sherr33 I stupidly decided to go to work today. Such an idiotic thing to do.
I am in so much pain now the pain meds do nothing. I hope I haven't inflamed my ovaries ( or worse!) by moving around too much.
Was walking around like a little old lady-hunched over.
I took tomorrow and Sunday off in hopes of some recovery before transfer.
Omg-seriously. Just rest ladies! Don't overdo it-for the love of God 😭

@Lasagne30 oh wow. So have you felt pooped and like this after EC? I'm definitely going to take it easy then. I didnt realise how intense it would be. I always thought that was the ET where had to take it easy. I hope you recuperate and the weekend gives you the time off that you need to rest up

Turned 31 on the 7th! Started fematab yesterday due to start my injections in roughly 6 days when my peroid starts! All going well egg collection on the 28th, this is my 1st ivf cycle and hopefully last 🤞🙏 feeling nervous and excited

I was taking 2 days off - day and after EC, and that's when I didn't have any transfer planned
