Im 33yrs old by the time my eggs are collected I'll be 34 😆
AMH = 17.9 all other parameters fine.
Partners S.A - test 1. Low morphology. test 2. Borderline everything
CARE Fertility add ons to be used - zymot and embryo glue

Starting northisterone on the 24th Jan
15/2 gonal f 225
20/02 Ganirelix joins in
23/02 scan
And potential egg collection 26/02

And this is our first cycle

@Lasagne30 ah this has made me feel better this sounds similar to my plan. I will be on the pill for a week then a week break for period, 5 days of stims then a scan then another 5 days of stims and a scan so hopefully that will be fine. Just want to get started now, hate the waiting!

Hi everyone today is my second day of injections just a headache so far and mikor cramps like period pains so far so good... @Lasagne30 congrats on the good news on egg collection that was a good number @waitingforourmiracle I think I'm getting the hang of it lol I start cetroide on Saturday at the moment I'm on gonal f and luveros gonal f I don't mind cos it's a dial up pin but I hate the luveros because you have to mix it and I'm on a double dose which is annoying to do because its 2 injection for that alone...@180monkeys I'm only booked in for one scan next Wednesday but the nurse nearly everyone might need a second scan so it depends

@Lasagne30 sorry have just reread and realised your EC was yesterday so you won’t have had your transfer yet. Hope you’re not feeling to tender!

@180monkeys Yeah all very different. I was reading some threads where some ladies had a scan while on their period which terrified me a little lol
Haha all good, there's a lot to read through everyone's information. Just a little like a pin cushion. The worse part is the sore boobs. Killing me.
I am supposed to get a message from the clinic today to let me know how many eggs they managed to fertilise from yesterday so waiting waiting waiting. We're all forever waiting lol

Hi! Have been reading the thread in the past few days and decided to post..
Just started my stims on 6th Feb.
I am 31, ttc naturally for 2+ years. Tests and scans showed I do have PCO (AMH: 53) and DH has low morphology (3%) so we will be doing ICSI.
I’m on a short protocol (collection possibly 17th Feb) and freeze-all for embryos due to OHSS risk. Hoping for transfer in March, though may be April as virology showed no immunity for Rubella (apparently haven’t ever had my second MMR jab!) so advised to get the MMR 2 weeks after egg collection and then wait 4 weeks to transfer..
So far on Menopur 150iu twice a day, and next scan this Friday 9th Feb.
Will be eventually adding Fyremadel and my trigger shot will be Buserelin (more OHSS friendly trigger shot I’ve been told).
I didn’t have to start on any birth control (I guess as on short protocol?). I have a regular cycle and yet the anticipation of waiting for my period was intense!

@180monkeys do you mean once we start medication? I'm only having one. I had one in January on day 3 of my period which I think would be classed as a baseline scan

@Lasagne30 amazing news on the numbers. I know what you mean. I'm trying to be positive but I don't know its the first time doing this so I'm scared of being to hopeful I guess. 😩

@180monkeys yes I have two scans booked during stims, I felt like everyone else was going every couple of days but judging by the replies that’s not always the case so I feel much better about it now!

just because it’s our first cycle I thought they would want to keep an eye and see how I’m reacting to the stims but maybe two is about normal then

@180monkeys yes I was surprised it was just the one but didn't question it too much.

This time next week il be starting my injections 🙈🤮 i feel sick with nerves.

Excited that tomorrow is my last day on the norethisterone tablets. 🙌🙌

Its so bizarre but ive had random days of feeling extra horny on them. I know on two occasions I practically forced myself on my partner 😬 so odd

Hi all, sorry I haven’t been keeping up todate and checking in. To be honest we didn’t get a very promising second scan result on Monday and it’s really knocked me. First scan before stims I have 7 follicles (my amh is 1.2 so very low, I’m 34yo) been have the pergoveris stim and had my second scan on Monday and my results were 1 follicle on the right measuring 19mm, and 1 on the left at 17mm. Then two more on the left at 7/9mm. The doctor told me that I’m not responding as well as I should and that the two large follicles are too big and are at a size where you would usually trigger, meaning the eggs are not right. Im hoping that the other two small ones grow correctly and hopefully some of the other folicles might have been stimulated to grow. But I’m not holding my breath.

we will be extremely lucky if our round doesn’t get cancelled. I have a scan tomorrow so hopefully we will know more. I have been injecting cetrotide since Monday morning now too which has been fine.

im feeling so deflated and sad about it, I don’t want to get any hopes up and want to realistically prepare myself. I never ever thought this would be me, and that I would have basically no eggs, but I will be very lucky if we even collect 1!

I Hope everyone else is all good and fingers crossed for some success for you all. I will try and update tomorrow after the scan, but really scared about how I am going to feel if the round on cancelled.

@180monkeys I'm having my 3rd scan tomorrow and I'm completely guessing but I think it's going to be every other day now until collection, I think I'm going to be a risk of OHSS though so maybe that's why they want to keep an eye on me? Or maybe that's normal for my clinic not sure!

@waitingforourmiracle how many more days are left on stims? Have you been okay?

@Eljane34 im sorry to hear that. I can only imagine how hard that must considering the wait and time and everything else that goes into a cycle. It has such an affect on us physically and emotionally and the last thing you want to hear is it hadnt gone to plan. But im praying you get a few more follicles that grow to the size they are looking for. Did they tweak your medication at all once they say these results?

@Eljane34 I'm so sorry about what you're going through, that sounds really disappointing. I know the doctors will do their very best for you but it's so hard not to feel gutted if it isn't going how you imagined. Is there something nice you can do today to take care of yourself? Sounds like you deserve a some tlc.

I’m not in work at the moment so just going to take it easy. Medication wasn’t changed as I’m on quite a high dose already (300iu) I think they can up it to 450 but haven’t for whatever reason. Hopefully the we have some positive news tomorrow but well prepared for not, I feel like it’s better to be prepared for the worse

@Sherr33 I don't actually know! We asked the question yesterday and the consultant said they take it day by day, I'm presuming it will be towards the end of next week. It's our 10 year anniversary next Wednesday so would be nice to be able to go for some nice food but it would also be nice if it fell on that date! To be honest I've not even thought about the collection or the transfer! How many days do you have left on your pill?

@Lasagne30 congrats that's really good numbers @Eljane34 I'm sorry to hear about your news hopefully your other 2 follicles might catch up and you will have better news tomorrow @Sherr33 I was like that towards the end of the fematab and now since I started the injections I'm not able to move lol I've got aches everywhere @Prabs7 welcome to the forum I see you started stims the same day as me but I'm on a fresh cycle hopefully I will have egg collection the 19th if all is going well....

@Cat191 oh no. Have you taken time off work? What have you been doing to help? I think I'm going to go by your side effects just because we have been quite similar with the down reg tablets 😩 il make the most of medication free days then

@Sherr33 yes I'm at home for a few weeks but I don't know is it a good thing or a bad thing because you have to much time to think lol when I wake up in the morning I do have a headache it's actually like a hangover and it takes you about an hour to wake up lol I just took some paracetamol and relaxed a bit... my stomach is starting to bloat today so I had to wear joggers cos when you have jeans on they rub up again the injection site and it's sore or sometimes you forget yourself and if your at the kitchen sink and you lean again the counter top you can find a sting lol but so far not as bad as what I taught and definitely not as bad side effects as the pill tbh

Not sure if I'm just realllly over thinking this morning but can't get this out of my mind, so I've now had 6 gonalf injection and my scan yesterday the consultant mentioned they were still small, considered upping my dosage but didn't and now I'm thinking what if they don't grow very much more in the next few days and there isn't anything there to work with?? He didn't seem concerned but now I can't get it out of my head! He said sometimes they just need a kickstart but how long does that take 🙈 omg I've been fine up until about an hour ago now my brain is going crazy!

Hi all looks like we are all progressing well.
I had my scan lining was 10.2 no idea if that's good, they said it was good booked in next week for the blastocyst transfer, starting progesterone 😬😬 all goes so fast once started anyone else due transfer next week ?
