I'm 38, currently in a 3 cycle Natural Modfied ICSI package and nearing transfer stage.

@Doxy21 I didn't have much symptoms last time when it worked and I had completely believed it hadn't. I have been away in the weekend so that was a bit of distraction. Back now and don't know what to do.

@jolly86 so it may have worked again for you 🤞🏽

@Doxy21 when did you have your period in those rounds,? Did you have to stop the pressures in order to

@jolly86 I had started what would have been my first round of natural modified but they missed me ovulate and so it got cancelled. Hoping to start again soon 🤞🏼😊

@Sunflower360 enjoy the Christmas period and hope you have a lovely one! (I really wish I’d got one cycle out of the way by now so I could relax a bit and enjoy the festivities but I think I’ll eat naughty on Xmas day and then get back to being healthy on Boxing Day - I say with a lot of optimism 😂)

@jolly86 well interestingly the nurse said that the clinic that scans me (different to where I have my egg collection) are only off on Xmas day and Boxing Day so if my period starts next week and it looks okay on scans then I go in theory go ahead otherwise it’ll be the next period after that which would be in January some time. It feels so far away and three cycles feels like a long time all in all but I guess it’ll go quick. Did you do natural modified? Did you do 3 cycles or just the one?

@jolly86 yed I had to stop the pessaries before I got a period. For one of the rounds I was going on hol so I just continued the pessaries for a further week to delay my period

@Hopesandsunshine that's good that the clinic isn't very disturbed by the closures. Hopefully you can start before the end of the year then :) I did only 1 round of mild ivf, and got 2 day 3 transferred. Nothing frozen so if this doesn't work will do another round.

@Doxy21 oh no I was trying to get my hopes up with the lack of a period and delaying testing to avoid a negative result :) I have been googling about this so much. ( i normally have 25-26 day cycle.)

@jolly86 @Doxy21 how are you both feeling? You've done well not testing!

@Sunflower360 I actually did test and it seems negative for me actually. I am 13 days past EC. I will still test again and on OTD which is 22.. but it seems it’s over for me.

@jolly86 sorry to hear that, you never know there is still a possibility but I can appreciate you may be prepared for it now. I'm the same would prefer to have some indication before the actual test day

@Sunflower360 yes I just wanted to get on with my life as I feel like everything is on hold :(

I’m sorry to hear that @jolly86 but it might just be too soon to show up on at home test? I think from tomorrow yours would show on a blood test and on a pee test 2 days after that. I have my fingers crossed that your test just isn’t sensitive enough. I’m fighting the urge to test.

@Doxy21 thank you but I used clear blue 6 days early. So I doubt. But will definitely test again. I’m glad I didn’t get my hopes high though as I m not having period yet

@jolly86 so sorry lovely, not the outcome you were hoping for but it’s not over yet, hopefully a review will provide some clarity on next steps. Take all the time you need and here if you need to vent xx

@Hopesandsunshine thank you. I m not sure mild ivf suits me so doubt I will continue with create.

@jolly86 i totally understand and have felt the same before with a different clinic and truly you have to go with what your gut instinct tells you, take some time to assess and see what create say. Here if you need anything and massive hugs, even though it’s one of two outcomes you were expecting, it doesn’t mean your not feeling upset and that is completely warranted especially when it concerns spending money on something that isn’t an exact science and a lot based on trial and error. Only 2 days left at work for me. Is anyone else having time off over Christmas? For the first time my dh has most of it off (he's a chef) so I'm looking forward to that.
