An update from me- I came home from abroad after doing freeze all cycle in December and have been waiting for my next cycle to start to prepare for embryo transfer (have a fridge full of meds I brought back and figured out how to get to London for scan and blood test really quickly) ... and was quite looking forward to a weekend break in Greece.... but my 25 day cycle became 33 days so I decided to do a test a couple of days ago...BFP...
Miracles do happen and it would not have happened without the treatment or the amazing doctor. Not sure that was his plan but 😮😮 we will take it! So shocked.

@camelinastorm oh my goodness thank you so much!!! I genuinely can't believe it. I have 20 of those dip tests in the bathroom and I keep just checking.... crazy. Absolutely crazy.

I'm good starting my frozen transfer in a few weeks unfortunately my fresh was a early loss, so doing a double frozen, scary times and risky but hoping it upps the odds
So super happy for you, no little trip to Greece for you but this is epic news xx

@camelinastorm I hope everything goes well for you. I'm sorry to hear about th failure with your fresh cycle. How many Frosties do you have?

I have to admit that it feels really strange not having lots of blood tests and scans to check things are okay and taking medications to support everything. I feel like this can't possibly work. I was expecting months of progesterone and steroids and aspirin and whatever else those other medications I've got are!! There's no way if I need all that this is just going to grow normally all by itself

Can I ask about advice you were given ref aspirin, my clinic doesn't do this but have been off the record advised to look into it but I don't know where to start ... Well I have the low dose aspirin so that's a start, just looking at do I start at AF, day 10 scan or transfer. Any help would be great thanks and another huge congratulations

@camelinastorm I had my treatment in Greece remember.... different style of medical care... I did what I was told when I was told without overt question or explanation. Which seemed to work!! I was taking 75mg aspirin from part way through (around the time I started the clexane injections) and I had some to take for the frozen prep but I wasn't getting my instructions until my cycle started and I had my first scan and blood test. So I won't know now what I would have had to do! unless we go through with them at some point after all.

I think over here you can ask more questions so it might be worth chatting about it?

Thanks, it does seem common practice here after a few trys ill be honest we cannot afford not have the time to keep trying unfortunately so wanting to do all I can for a sticky bean x

Hi guys - update/ I started bleeding yesterday and had a scan, no pregnancy detected so it's probably already passed :(
At least I have my two Frosties to try when I next can.
What a journey this is ... :(
I guess I'll be IVF Feb/march now so will look out for that thread :)
Or maybe I'll head off MN for a bit
