@GCS34 So glad you got to see the heartbeat today. The measurements are so small so early on, so hopefully nothing to worry about and it just means you get a bonus scan in 10 days 😊

@GCS34 I’m glad you saw a heartbeat although I am sorry that the size wasn’t exactly where the clinic wanted. I realise the wait for the next scan is going to feel very slow and anxious but I really hope that it shows good news :)

Weirdly I passed some clots after taking pill 1 (which isn't meant to happen) but no actual bleeding and nothing after taking pill 2 (which is meant to cause cramping and empty out the womb). So either I've had the world's simplest and most pain-free miscarriage, or it's still there. Need to go back on Saturday lunchtime if still no further movement.

just to update you in a few days away for my 4th transfer. For anyone new here I had all bfns before.

just a question for anyone who may be related. After our last bfn dr said that my lining is getting too thick too quick. Was wondering if anyone experienced something similar before?
so after using an injection that reduces the lining we looking for a lining 1mm thinner than last time, but it doesn’t seem very hopeful to me.
anyone with similar experience pls share your story and what was suggested:)

@CB2805 Good luck for the transfer, sorry I don't have any advice about thick lining, I didn't even know this could be a thing. I hope you're able to get some advice.

I am well thanks @kirstysmbc, how are you? My first scan is CD10 so ages away yet!

@Hopingforno2in2023 I'm ok, FET it always so much easier than fresh for me. My lining scan is on day 10 then they'll let me know about transfer. Day 10 seems quite late for first scan for stims? Or maybe my clinic just like to start early...

@kirstysmbc yeah it was CD7 last time but I think because my clinic have shoehorned me in after DH complaining they don’t have capacity for other scans. I have emailed to ask if I start Cetrotide CD8 as I did last time as CD10 may be too late as I have short cycles. I haven’t had a baseline scan either so will have no idea what we are working with until CD10.

How is everyone? I have a scan on Wednesday and took my last clomid today. Start meriofert tomorrow.

I have my pregnancy test on Wednesday. Have just found out a friend is terminally ill though and my head is even more of a mess.

@Hopingforno2in2023 How are you feeling? What day is your scan? I've taken my last dose of ovamex (think it's the same as cetrotide) today and have my lining scan on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be given my date for transfer then too.

@Salacia Good luck for your test, how have you been feeling? Any symptoms? Not that it makes a lot of difference. I'm so sorry about your friend, that's a really tough thing to be dealing with at what is already a difficult time.

@kirstysmbc - I have very bad nausea but I think that’s probably more related to the drugs (and the stress) rather than anything happening. I’m a nauseous person (my husband always jokes that I express my emotions through vomiting like a baby) so I’m trying not to read anything into it.

@Jellyfish1956 Hi! Sorry I have been awol, I’m just living in this constant state of worry which I know some of you will relate to. I’m 7 weeks tomorrow, paid for a private scan at 6 weeks just to see what was going on and seen a flickering heartbeat (I’m not sure they quite class it as a heartbeat at 6 weeks but there was definitely something flickering and they seemed happy with it). I’ve got official scan with clinic on Monday where I’ll be 7 weeks 5 days but just scared it won’t show what it needs to.
symptom wise I’ve been feeling more and more nauseous as the days go on but thankfully not been sick and the exhaustion is real!
i always thought the hardest part would be getting a positive test (which did take 3 times for us) but I can’t believe how anxious this bit is. Wishing I could fast forward to 12 weeks and feel a bit more confident about it all. How are you doing?

I had a positive test today (and quite a strong one - >200). This week has been such a difficult one that I immediately hung up and had a panic attack. I’ll call tomorrow to book the scan. I think I’m so scarred by the previous low bHCG that kicked off weeks of scans, blood tests and ended in a miscarriage that I can’t relax at all or enjoy it. Just waiting for something to go wrong.

@Salacia Wonderful news, congratulations. I've been there with the low beta and then miscarriage and it is so hard, but my betas with my daughter were good right from the start so hopefully this is your lucky cycle 😊

@Hopingforno2in2023 how did your scan go?

My lining was right where it needed to be so I'm just waiting for a transfer appointment to be booked in.

Great news @kirstysmbc, not long now.

I have had one heck of a day. Turned up to scan and as expected I was ready for Cetrotide. In fact the doctor said it couldn’t wait until I got home. However the clinic pharmacy didn’t have it in so I ended up driving across town in heavy traffic to the hospital. The hospital had zero parking spaces so after driving round for ages I had to do what everyone else had done and abandon my car on the verge. Then I got lost in the endless corridors. Got the Cetrotide into me though so that is what matters.

Scan showed 5 follicles, 3x 13mm, 1 x 11mm and 1 x 10mm and lining of 9.7 all of which the doctor said is good at this stage. Am back for another scan on Friday.

Thank you @kirstysmbc and @Hopingforno2in2023 - I’ve had to tell some of my seniors at work (the progesterone is making me vomit and it’s exacerbated by one of the key parts of my job - I was roughing it out in case I got a negative and it resolved itself but now I’ve hopefully got months to go I need to raise it) - it now feels a lot more real! Glad you’ve both had promising looking scans!

What a nightmare @Hopingforno2in2023 ! Glad you got your meds. I got caught in the train chaos with the storm the other week. Ended up crying on the guard at St Pancras station because if I couldn’t get home I’d miss next medication. Not my finest hour!

Im feeling hopeful coming into November, feels ages since my negative in Sep after first fresh cycle… but now ready to go again as soon as AF shows (with a natural FET), so mayyyybe end of this month/v early dec!
