@kirstysmbc that’s great your FET can go ahead in December, I hope it comes round quickly for you.

@IVFAlone i had a scan at 5 weeks at an NHS EPU as I had concerning bleeding and cramping but honestly all you can see is a blob and no heartbeat at that time so I wouldn’t say it’s worth paying for one. I think for the scan it’s definitely better to wait until the 7 weeks, like @GCS34 @Summerishere83 and @kirstysmbc have said maybe see if you can get your hcg levels checked. That will tell you more at this stage. Another thing a friend recommended to me was to get the digital weeks test. And you can check each week that the dates are going up

Hi All!

I called my clinic today to let them know I’ve tested a day early so I didn’t have to stay on progesterone all weekend. They’ve asked me to test tomorrow just for official date, but agree that it’s unlikely to turn positive. So I have my appt booked with my consultant for 27th to discuss my next cycle and any changes we can make.

I keep telling myself now if we can make one great embryo, we can make another one (hopefully two 🤣) so will enjoy having a month without meds before the next go!

So the scan today was day 10, which is early as they wanted me to come in early to see if they needed to add anything else in. Usually it's day 15 which you probs all know. Anyway, for day 10 I was at 5.9mm already! And I'm now on the biggggggg dose (12mg per day), with my day 15 scan on Wednesday to check on it. So yeah - apaz at day 10 it's usually around 5-7mm, so it was bang in the middle with a healthy triple layered 5.9mm. Relieved!! Just hope it keeps going 🤗

@Doughnut89 how are you feeling today? Have you had a date for your 12 weeks, and has your clinic improved at all or not?
@ARM23 Welcome back! Thrilled you're on the drugs already. How many days / dose you on? I will be similar with you I think! (I hope!!)

I see. Cramping stopped and had just the one spot on my face as usual. Tomorrow can not come quick enough.

What type of transfer/FET are people on? I done natural transfer both times, last year I could test on day 10 this time it is day 12. Annoys me it is never consistent.

@GCS34 thats great news. So pleased to hear. I’m doing ok, feeling really anxious about the scan next week. Symptoms have been on and off on the daily and things smell and taste differently today. No idea what’s normal 😫

@KG1244 - if it’s any help, with my first pregnancy, that resulted in my beautiful DS, I had so many private scans as my symptoms were on and off like a tap… I kept convincing myself every time they disappeared that something was wrong - but he was always perfectly fine :)

@Lowo21 - how are you doing!? I’m only 2dp5dt and I’m already absolutely loopy. Took a test, as I’m a weirdo, and had a v faint positive but that’s obviously still the trigger as I had a fresh cycle, think I’m going to test it out so I know when it’s gone!!! I’m such a control freak.

@73pheonix 4dp5dt frozen embryo for me. Haha I'm going insane, I have already convinced myself it hasn't worked. Trying to push for OTD so it's a definitive. I think this is going to be the longest two weeks of my life ... until next time !!

Was headache a symptom anyone had during the 2ww?

@73pheonix thank you so much, that’s really comforting. In 3 years of trying, second FET this is our first positive result so I feel like I’m completely stepping into the unknown and have no idea what’s normal and what symptoms are normal. Wish you and @Lowo21 all the ❤️ with your 2ww. I know it’s mental torture.

@KG1244 Thanks darling - I do feel a sigh of relief but just got to keep it going! I am in the clinic on Tuesday I've just found out, for my next scan which will be day 14, so we shall see. I think they want me in at regular intervals to make sure they can do something if it stops developing.
That's positive about the smell - I've heard that!! Have you got a date yet?

@kirstysmbc I just had my 1 bleed straight after egg collection that was bought on with medication and then this is my next bleed after, so i have been able to start the month after. I wonder why some say to wait 3 months.

@73pheonix Thank you so much!! Tuesday is the next one! Eeek 😩If it's like this just for my lining, I'm going to be a messssss in the TWW 😂You guys will have to stop me being mental!

That's good news on the test, but yeah likely the trigger. ARe you going to test every day?

@CDiamond - yes I had really bad headaches for a couple of days!

I literally cannot stop testing. 17dp5dt and still not convinced. Do these lines look ok? Sorry if I’m being a silly cow but I cannot believe I have a baby!!!!!!

@IVFAlone They wont get any darker than that. And they might get lighter, due to the hook effect. It is time to step away from the tests now!! 😊

Your scan is in two weeks, that will be upon you in no time!!!

@IVFAlone your lines look great! Not everyone gets dye stealers. I totally get it though as I’m also a POAS addict 🤣

@CDiamond the progesterone gave me a headache (but no other symptoms which is why I think I probably didn’t absorb enough on this cycle!)

I can’t remember who said about testing at day 12 Vs day 10 - my clinic do 12 days too, but they accepted my negative today at day 11 and booked my follow up clinic appt (as I didn’t want another weekend of progesterone if I didn’t need it) They have asked me to do my official test from them tomorrow just for completion and then I’ll stop x

Hi @73pheonix a bit of a random question, but is your son right-handed or left -handed? 😅
I read an article that when women have more frequent pregnancy scans the kids turn out left-handed:)
And I wouldn't have thought much about it but I have a friend who was having scans every other week with her first and he turned out to be left handed, the other two kids which she didn't do private scans with are right- handed. Just curious doing my own survey now 🤓

@GCS34 - yeah I think I am going to test everyday… I’d like to test the trigger out so I can be certain when I’d inevitably test earlier than advised. I’d love to think I could wait until otd, but after 2 years of trying and saying that every cycle - I just know I won’t 🤣.

@Summerishere83 hi!!!! Ooo hate to break the theory, but no… He’s definitely Right handed, and this is despite my left handed husband actively encouraging him to be left handed 😂.

Thanks all! I think seeing negative tests for so many years, I just cant believe those two lines when they come up. I probably won’t even believe the scan when that eventually comes round! Less than 2 weeks to go for that.

when did you all contact your midwife’s for the booking appointment? My clinic has asked me to do it now but I’m nervous to do it before the scan 😓

Haha oh well it was worth asking @73pheonix it seems it's not something that runs in the family either, much to your husband's disappointment 😅

What do I make of this? Today is 9dp5dt and:

• I have been testing negative throughout (not the slightest hint of a line)
• My periods were due and I have started bleeding today (albeit no cramps which I would usually get and bleeding is a lot less that what i would get on day 1)
• I have had a persistent headache and weird tasting mouth for the last 2 days

I think I am out; last IVF cycle as well my period arrived at 10dp5dt (before OTD). Even if this period seems different, I think I am out. Anyone else think otherwise? Anyone else has negative tests till 9dp5dt, bleeding and then tested positive on OTD (which is just day after tomorrow)? Thank for sharing.

@KG1244 sorry I totally didn’t write what I thought I had about feeling anxious. And I didn’t see the scan bit! 🙈 what day / time is it? Sending so much love your way. X

Oestrogen patches then after 10days adding in cyclogest pessaries and prontogest .
