I’m due to start my second round of FET in August so thought I would set up this group for some treatment buddies ❤️

@GCS34 yes transfer is on for Tuesday 🫣 my lining was 7.8mm, I think they just need over 7mm?

tbh I said I’d had enough and didn’t want to have any more stimulation 🤣 but I was feeling really sick, couldn’t eat, or walk anywhere very fast as really breathless! Sounds like you are nailing it though and it definitely feels a bit better after egg collection, count down the days! Did they give you any info on timing for a transfer?

@Ellenn wow this is so exciting. 2 weeks time you could be pregnant 🤗😱 so exciting. How’s hubs feeling? Bet it’s exciting. Feel like that will never be me 😂yeah 7mm and above is the sweet spot apparently. Which is annoying as my lining is there but they’re freezing now so all the lining goes 😭have you got a time for Tuesday yet?

I feel very similar! Not sure what more they want. I assume it’s cuz the biggest is only 20mm and they want a few more at 20mm+. We’ll see. I’m in again in the am so will let you know! I dunno about timelines for me. Will ask tomorrow. I really don’t want to wait a month. I’ll be really upset if I do! Who knows. Theirs no logic right now. My stomach looks like a bloody hedgehog 😂

Forgot to say that I have been using testosterone gel this last cycle as I have an AMH of 1.7. Really hoping that my baseline scan shows it has worked.

Thanks GCS34. My pre AF spotting has started so I expect it to arrive in the next 48 hours. I then start clomid on CD2 and injections on CD7. Egg collection should be week commencing 14 August. Am excited that there is a chance I will be pregnant at the end of August but nervous about the number of eggs we will get due to my low AMH. Good luck for your collection!

@Hopingforno2in2023 do you know why they’re putting you on clomid as well as stim injections? How many days of stimming are they doing for you? And are they doing a fresh?

im fuming I’m now on a freeze-all and have to wait till sept for my FET 😢😓

Oh I don’t know GCS34, I assumed it was normal?! I start stimming on CD7 I believe and will be on 450iu of Meriofert. Yes it is a fresh transfer, the chances of me getting OHSS with my AMH is practically non existent I believe.

so sorry you have had a freeze all, was it due to getting a high number of eggs? Fingers crossed for lots of lovely embryos.

@Loulaki ah I’m thrilled you’re finding it not as bad as you thought. The epi pen / dialling it up is really easy isn’t it? Is your husband still doing it for you? I still haven’t managed to do it myself yet - even 3 months on 😂 when is your first progress scan?

in for the (final I hope) scan tomoz. I’m gonna estimate I hit 46! It’s become a game now I swear 😂🙈

I'm booked in for a FET Thursday August 3rd. We've had a lot of false starts this year so getting the go ahead for this cycle was rather unexpected but a lovely surprise

Is there anyone else here at a similar timeline? How are you all doing?

the embryologist is phoning today to confirm transfer time for tomorrow 😁 @DauntedAF we won’t be far apart in timings! That must be disappointing having the false starts, are you doing medicated or natural transfer?

@Harrjenk No no, physically during day is ok, I can work and everything rlse as normal. It us emotionally tough. We have my in-laws and other family visiting for a month, so had a few not very pleasant moments (they don't know about ivf) and with these pills I couldn't let it go, and was overthinking at night etc. Yesterday was a calm day and night was also better.
So just make sure that close next to you (who know about ivf) don't upset you or when you react out of ordinary, they just move on...
everything will be good 🙏🤞🏻

Thank you Ellenn. I will call the clinic today to get everything rolling, am hoping my baseline will be tomorrow but will see what the clinic day.

@Ellenn medicated. So started my meds almost two weeks ago. Had my baseline scan last week when lining was 8.3mm and then started progesterone on Saturday. The meds have me so tired. How about you? How are you doing? So exciting that your transfer is tomorrow!

@IVF23 I hope your scan goes well this morning and some of the smaller ones have caught up!

I had my second scan today (CD 7) and I have been booked in for a further scan Wednesday with the potential for egg collection Friday or Monday. None are currently over the 17mm line but like they explained with you once there is a few they would look to do collection. Really hopeful it falls as Monday. Did you have any at 17mm or above on your CD9 @IVF23 ? I didn't ask about how many eggs they hope to collect, I have the next 2 days off work and want to remain a bit oblivious and one less thing to Google search but will ask on Wednesday

Side effects from the injections aren't too bad and I think being a size 16 although I have bloat it's not terribly uncomfortable or making me look pregnant, just like I super enjoyed an all you can eat buffet 😂 even though my appetite is none existent! Although CM this morning is like madness, so certain I was ready to ovulate... A 4am Google search gave me some reassurance though and my nurse confirmed it's normal.

Does anyone know if they eggs continue to grow between trigger and egg collection?

@Hopingforno2in2023 yeah i don't love it right now, but I hope todays scan will be the final and the extra 2 days they stimmed me gives me an extra chance of a good embryo with hopefully one in the bank too!

Question for everyone. If you're on a freeze all, how long from EC do they wait until they do a FET?

@GCS34 yes it is super easy. I've done them all myself! I am a bit of a control freak so I only trust him to doublecheck the dose and be there for moral support or if something goes wrong. With the exception of one shot I have literally not even felt the pinch. I still get headaches around/right after I inject. But thankfully no nausea like I had with the first which was prostap and I assume the headaches are more psychosomatic and go away after I have slept. I have my first scan on Wed. I imagine they will keep me on the meds for 10 days min.

@Hopingforno2in2023 yes this is my first cycle, doing ICSI. On my 4th day of stims today and so far so good. I hardly know what to expect and probably reading a bit too much into all the little twinges in my lower abdomen. Hopefully will know soon how I am responding to the medication!

@DauntedAF good luck with your cycle too! I totally sympathise with the sentiment of your username hehe

How has everyone managed this period? Have you just kept working/doing your normal daily activities? I find that my concentration levels have plummeted and I just want to lounge, do yoga and basically anything self-care!

Had a scan today ~12 a good size, with 5 or so that may catch up. We are now also booked in for collection on Wednesday!

@ttcsolomumtobe the trigger injection can tend to boost the growth a little at the end, I have my fingers crossed for my 5 trailing behind.

I think someone else was having collection today/tomorrow - I can't keep up with the thread...but good luck🤞

@GCS34 that’s great you’ve managed to do them yourself - I’ve still woosed out of them. Even if I have had about 90 now 😂
thats strange on the headaches but at least they ease after a sleep. The first week I had a really upset tummy and went to the loo LOADS. Last week polar opposite and I’m so bloated and gained like 3kg! Anyone else had stim weight gain?
Are you having a fresh do you know?

@GCS34 yes trigger tonight. I'm feeling very uncomfortable, full and bloated. I have no idea how you and @IVF23 must be feeling, are you tired too? I think it's normal to put on weight during IVF (hormones and growth!). I find the weight does come off post collection as most is bloating, need to drink lots of water to flush everything out.
