I’m due to start my second round of FET in August so thought I would set up this group for some treatment buddies ❤️

I’ve been told today I’ve got mild/moderate OHSS, I’m over a week post EC but feeling much worse and much more swollen and utterly exhausted. I’ve got a bladder condition and unfortunately the stimulation caused my ovaries to push onto my bladder so I was also in urinary retention/ having to catheter which has caused an infection so glad we are not doing a fresh transfer

our 4BB that didn’t “survive” the PGTA by some miracle seemed to fix itself and recover over the weekend so we’ve had a 4BB , 4BC and 4CC PGTA should hear back in a few weeks.

we were very lucky our other embryo from our last cycle was 4AA, I think I’m going to take a break before my next cycle, I had a lot of stress going on whilst on injections and before EC (I’ve mentioned before but my little brother has leukaemia and was in hospital with sepsis at the time of injections) and I wonder if this has affected the gratings or if it’s just how it is and we were lucky last time:

@Chickencrazy3356 sorry you’re feeling rough 😞 ohss seems to rear it’s head when you least expect it to, or when you think you’re out the risk from it! Have you felt rough with aside from the uti? Have they given you a timeline?

great news Mr.BB recovered. Really sorry about your little brother. No one prepares you for things like this. It’s a lot. It’s lovely to hear he’s out of hospital!! Re the grading - the grades are amazing, not sure what you meant ok them not being good / affected from stressors?

Thank you just really tired they said about 2/3 weeks for everything to settle down hopefully !

it’s such a relief he’s home. I think maybe I’ve got myself confused about the gradings as I stupidly googled the gradings as i didn’t understand them and found a chart that said 4BC was poor and 4CC should be discarded but maybe I’ve just completely misunderstood the gradings and these are ok gradings !

@Chickencrazy3356 The grading of the embryos isn't as important as whether they are euploid. Grading is a bit of a beauty contest but can't talk much about the quality, so fingers crossed for positive results from your PGTA testing and then you have a great chance.

@Chickencrazy3356 so sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well, I hope you get better soon and manage to get some chill time. Have you managed to get some time off work to recover? I really struggled with my ohss after my collection. I think gradings are so difficult as you can still get a baby from lower grades, in both my last transfers although I had high graded embryos I miscarried both times. So a high grade definitely doesn’t mean a baby!

I’ve got my scan date confirmed the 31st august 😳 I’m hoping I reach that stage. I asked my clinic about doing another beta blood and they said they don’t do them 😭So now not sure if I should get another medichecks one or not 🤷‍♀️

After just over two weeks of down reg I finally had my baseline scan this morning and all looking good, so should be good to start my stims on Thursday. They did see a small cyst on one ovary, but don't think it should prevent anything going ahead. Has anyone had this before?

@kirstysmbc thanks it's torture if I'm honest but think I'm out ! So coming to terms with it. I did have cyst which forced me to cancel my cycle hopefully yours won't! X

When was your cyst spotted? Can you remember how big it was?

@kirstysmbc I'm doing okay, although worry set in a little this morning as have some tummy ache and a few painful cramps like AF but wouldn't be due just yet and hoping it's not. I know it could be anything. Not sleeping well but think that's the heat. Finding a none fertility reason for every feeling that pops up ha

How the cyst doesn't delay you, I think the will likely monitor them as you go along

@kirstysmbc my cyst was spotted on my day 5 scan and was 23mm big and said was giving of hormones so beat to stop next cycle it had gone!

I've done a boots early response and nothing OTD is Friday . I had thought it would be and I never build hopes now as I've learnt ivf is a rollercoaster. My own stupid fault for testing yesterday x

You're doing so well holding out until OTD, completely understand though! My last round, I held out until 2 days before and then broke! Are you feeling pretty zen about it all?

@Pinklady81 hope you're okay! It is still early days for you isn't it?

Hoping everyone is okay on the TWW!
I've been planning on testing on Friday still, but may wait until Sunday morning, the day before OTD. I'd it's not positive then, I'm definitely out!

@ttcsolomumtobe it's so difficult with all the symptoms isn't it. I had lots of cramps and very early waking after each of my transfers, all of which led to implantation. But not sure i whether that was due to meds or hcg... I did read something that said disrupted sleep can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms, but it could also just have been anxiety for me, especially as I am a serial tester so was anxious to see progression on the tests.

How much longer until OTD? Well done for not testing so far!!

@ttcsolomumtobe don't stress too much about cramping, that could go either way, cramping can be implantation, progestrone or period.

@Pinklady81 have you got FRERs? In my experience they're the best ones!

@Justkeepmoving1234 I think I was pretty zen the first week as knew nothing would show but getting harder now. I think I would have tested 2 days before if I was due to work the Monday but luckily not. Also made plans with friends for the weekend so I don't test 🤣

@kirstysmbc I’ve got a cyst on one ovary and been told by many clinicians to leave it alone.

@ttcsolomumtobe well done for holding out. Agree with others that cramps can mean either way so try not to worry.

I’m pretty certain I’m out. I tested this morning 8dp5dt and negative, so gutted 😞

@IVF23 when is your OTD? 8dp5dt is still early, don’t count youself out just yet.

My OTD is 22nd and I’m so tempted to test early but then I’m also not sure I can deal with the emotional turmoil if I get a faint line or even a negative. It’s so tough isn’t it 😬

Im due to have my FET next week. Anyone else in a similar time frame? Get mega leg cramps from those wonderful magic patches. What a life 😂

I am slow to keep up on this active thread. But I'm so sad to see all the news on the thread from those in tww 😢. I haven't yet tested yet and am also currently 8dp5dt twinning with @IVF23 , but I have no symptoms and don't feel any different except for progesterone boobs. I'm not too hopeful at the moment...OTD is Saturday.

Hi there 2WWers.. my OTD is 23rd (3d transfer was on 10th)..

And yeah .. absolutely zero symptoms 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Lowo21 @GCS34 ooh sounds like we’ll all be around the same time! They sent our consents yesterday so have got those done and out the way, and we’ve got the call with embryologist on Thurs. hoping to get a timeline shortly after, but don’t imagine it will be too long to start meds. Last time I was 4 weeks from starting norethisterone to transfer, so hopefully around the same this time!

I think we’re going to try to fit in a week away next week before the madness of the next transfer begins 😂

Don’t get me started on the ivf weight gain, I’m half a stone up post ec/transfer/mc and can’t seem to shift it no matter what I do (another delightful side effect of pcos!)😩

I have posted my protocol below ... I think the 25th is just to chat through it all... is yours the same?

I have 6 Frosties 🥰 no idea in grading though they didn't say and I didn't ask, all I know is that one was held until day 6 until it was frozen. I had 28 collected 😕 !!

Hahah yea rock on with the off grid I can't wait, it's not too far but I doubt we will leave the sit to be honest, they have a hot tub fire bath too!!

I did start yesterday went for a run and just walked the dogs! I can't believe how quickly my fitness has gone and my belly has grown 🤪

We were offered ovulation induction in the NHS but my Dr said that we were better off just going straight to private as we had to pay for everything else as hubby has a 15 year old son.... who doesn't live with us and it's a very complicated relationship, I know there are rules for a reason but it's been a hard pill to swallow!

@Chickencrazy3356 I hope your brother is doing better the stress on those surrounding someone who is ill is immeasurable and often forgotten. I hope you are doing ok?

@Lowo21 it’s not opening properly on my phone, but from what I can see your protocol is the same as mine, except I need to do norethisterone first to bring on a bleed, last time it was just 13 days between starting that and my first fyremadel injection, then it was just over 2 weeks to transfer

It’s so bad that I’m wishing away the days until I can get started! (Although at the same time not looking forward to the meds, they make me so tired and forgetful!🤦🏻‍♀️)

Did they say if your call on 25th with the embryologist or nursing team?
