IVF/ICSI/FET - June 23

Hi!

I'm going to be starting my medications ready for a FET in June. Anybody else in the same boat or starting their cycles?

I've done one round of ICSI and had a fresh transfer in March that wasn't successful but we got 5 frozen day 5 blastocysts from it. Happy to answer any questions for anyone starting their journeys :)

@Lyrabee oh no. I’m not that lucky! My mother in law had it sitting on the kitchen table from a. Chinese earlier in the week so I nabbed it for the luck 😂

How you doing @KG1244 ? I had my lining scan today and they'd like it to be a bit thicker so I've got another scan on Monday with my transfer booked for 29th. Later than I would have liked due to social plans but never mind!

@Lyrabee hey, I’ve got my next scan tomorrow. Exciting that you have a transfer date yay! I feel you on social plans - I’ve got a wedding to go to this week and next week, injecting in the toilets 😬😬😬
I’m hoping they will give me a transfer date tomorrow

@KG1244 yes! I've got a wedding next week and the week after! I'll be starting the injections the day we travel over for the first one.
Aah amazing, yes I'm sure they'll give you a date for transfer tomorrow which is nice to be able to plan around!

Hey, scan today went well and I’ve got my transfer on 24th 😬eeekk! Suddenly feels like things are moving quickly x

@KG1244 oooh amazing!! Are you on the jabs now?

@Lyrabee just the patches for now and then start lubion and pessaries on Saturday 😬
have you used lubion before?

@KG1244 no I've never used it so you'll have to tell me how it is. Did they give you the belly one?

@Lyrabee yes. From what I’ve read online, it stings a little - I will report back 😊

@KG1244 I've heard that too but the needles are pretty small. I think I'll be starting mine on your transfer date!

@KG1244 hey! I'm good! I start the injections on Thursday and have transfer Tuesday morning 😊 I've got some days booked off work as well so looking forward to it!

@Lyrabee hey, thank you for checking in ❤️ Transfer went well, home and symptom spotting already! All feeling fine, tummy is a bit crampy but I think that’s probably from the transfer. Urgh I really hope this round works. How are you doing? Have you started your meds yet?

@KG1244 I have everything crossed for you! At least you can take it easy over the long weekend but try and find some distractions!
Yes started progesterone yesterday, they're fine but I have bruised, probably hit a vein lol. I'm tired as well but expected that x

Hiya! @KG1244 yes I'm on lubion- sorry I missed that message and yes I had transfer this morning. All went well but I definitely felt it a bit more this time, she said it was very smooth so not sure why it was more uncomfortable. I can only think it's the lubion as I've had some light cramps and feel a but tense.
