Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

@pillerpink yes it was super scary, Im so glad the blood stopped but now I’m super paranoid. Fingers crossed everything remains intact. When is your OTD? You are at 10 dpt right?

@MrsRandMrsR welcome to the group :) oh gosh that sounds so frustrating. I’ve not experienced such before but from what I know from previous miscarriages, when I had bleeding they would recommend to add extra progesterone to keep the levels high. Hopefully they support you with the right level needed. Wishing you and your wife all the best 🤗

Thank you. Things are pretty stressful to say the least. We test on Monday and depending upon the outcome (or not actually!) will result in an official complaint. The fact our progesterone levels are so low, means the outcome isn’t really great and our consultant specifically said a test was to be carried on the third day of Lubion (before the transfer) however it was brushed off by the Dr at the baseline scan clinic. My wife has been for a blood test today to check for progression since she’s now on pessaries and Lubion and our fertility nurse is really frustrated that it wasn’t carried out when it should have been and told us they should have rang first thing and not 24hrs later with the results. There were 3 notes on the computer stating it must be carried out, but it wasn’t so I’m failing to see why it wasn’t done. There has been some major oversight on communication and staff complacency on their end (despite all having access to the same notes) and us being brushed off on the day we should have them checked when we asked. I’m just really cross, this isn’t a toy, it’s our lives and a potential life that has been messed with. Just got to hope our little bean has been strong enough to survive the lack of what is needed to help sustain and create a pregnancy but I’ve no hope left.

Sorry for the selfish rant. Just needed to put it out there.

@Rainbowpeach super scary about the bleeding but your scan sounded positive! how many weeks are you now? could you go for another scan at 6 weeks?

@Rainbowpeach aww thank you Hun 😘 yes I'm so relaxed as this time everything was different so I was not so confident. Thankfully I saw the 2 magical lines! Only ladies who goes through IVF will understand the power of 2 lines! Best thing ever!

Now, the real struggle start! Checking of everything is ok lol 😆

@Zus my transfer is tomorrow 😬. I'm feeling okay about it but definitely going in with low expectations after my previous failed FET in February!

How have you found things having a small child? My daughter is 2 and on the last cycle I was so paranoid about lifting her and getting on as normal but didn't really have a choice. My clinic reassured me it's absolutely fine to carry on but you know you just overthink everything 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Yes, I have 15+ months old baby girl from my last FET. This was my last embryo and this time everything is different. Last time I took proper rest for a week and throughout my pregnancy. This time I'm up from day 1 of my transfer..She never used to see me in bed so she needs me all the time. Although I have my husband who is helping me so much but still I couldn't take proper rest so like you I wasn't too confident this time.

I have to be there for my little girl as well as she has no clue on what's happening around her lol 😂

From the transfer day till now day 7 I'm up! But I do take rest when she goes to sleep and evening time. Otherwise I'm up for her. I'm glad it worked but it's definitely going to be different this time with her! I know it's going to be a challenge haha 😂

@Zus wow amazing news! I’m so happy for you. Enjoy every moment! 💕💕I test on Friday which will be my day 14… I’m too scared to test in advance. Dud you have any yelling symptoms? I still don’t have anything to obvious as I think it could all be the meds..

@Zus I suppose you've just got to think that people have second pregnancies all the time and just carry on and don't think about their every move because they wont know they are pregnant til they do a test/miss a period! we are just super aware.

Sounds like you are doing everything you can and i hope your pregnancy isnt too exhausting! I can't even imagine being heavily pregnant again and not just being able to rest/nap whenever xx

@pillerpink thank you! its tomorrow afternoon and now I'm panicking its not going to survive the thaw and also been googling about embryo grades - i need to stop!! they froze it on day 6 and it didnt have a grade at the time so I'm being quite negative about the whole thing. But the dr's assured me they absolutely wouldn't freeze it if it didnt look good enough.

You're doing so well waiting. I kind of get it cause you have a set day in your mind and then its scary thinking of doing it sooner/nice thinking you could potentially be pregnant. Wishing you all the best!! xx

@laurapop yes, you are right. We have to be there for our first baby as well so it is going to be different. My pregnancy journey with my daughter wasn't the pleasent one as I had faced many issues and went in on ambulance at least 3 to 4 times! I really wish and pray this time it should be normal.

I wish you all the best for tomorrow. I understand we will think about everything before transfer as I did the same but be positive. It will work x

@laurapop I did the same and mine thawed 100%. I wasn’t aware of the grade as I didn’t want to google. My strongest embryo was one that was slow to catch up initially.

try your upmost to rest and relax today to prepare your body xx

@laurapop thank you! Yes it was scary but glad that’s over. I have another scan next week and I’m just hoping and praying all is well and it was just a random bleed. Fingers crossed! Good luck with your transfer tomorrow, whoosh a few steps to your BFP! Im going to be optimistic for you 🥰

@Zus i am just going to chill 😎 lovely and sunny and warm here in Spain so will take full advantage over the Easter weekend! I’ll probably cook roast lamb on Sunday lol 😂 or maybe just go out to eat I’ll see! Yes clinic been in touch picked up all my meds yesterday ready for AF to start any day now and first ultrasound next week, fingers crossed my lining grows better with the meds this time but I’m trying not to worry this time and keep busy with work etc! It’s holiday season here now so I’m busy all week with rentals etc lol 😂 xx

Also have PCOS and have been trying to conceive for 3years, with 2 miscarriages.

Congratulations on being successful ! I’m in the dreadful 2WW also have pcos, I just had twinges/needles cramps first few days but nothing now

We had our viability scan yesterday at 6+2, was measuring at 6+1, so pretty good, and had a heartbeat. So happy, obviously very much aware it’s still early days, but so far so good. 😁

I am going for a scan tomorrow to check my lining. Have any of you struggled to get medication? We rang asda and they have no cyclogest.......
