Hi All,

Looking for others starting their FET cycle in March. This will be my 5th cycle (after 4 cycles last year). I did PGT-A testing this time and my embryos went down from 13 to 4. Hoping for success this time round and just wanted to go through the journey with others.

I don't think I am going to be able to temp my wife to test early, defo not after last time, I spent £50 on tests

I’m not sure if anyone will be able to answer this but I’m 7dp5dt and was wondering if it’s safe to have sex yet? Or do you have to wait until OTD (13dp5dt)?

@MS2692 Hi, my clinic has advised not to have sex until OTD. Check with your clinic.

Hmmm, so it seems all is not over as we thought?! The bleeding was again a brown sticky discharge which couldn’t be down to implantation, we think maybe it is down to the pessaries but we don’t really know as she feels they don’t irritate her, she did have some dull ache going on but she said it wasn’t as bad as period pains (though I fear she makes it sound better than it is to ease my fears) but it was just more noticeable and probably lasted 24hrs. We’re still testing and the line is as dark as it ever could be? The brown stuff is only really visible now and again, mostly once the pessary popper comes out. She’s been feeling sicky at times over the last few days. So I’ve booked a scan at a private place for next Saturday as we’d be technically 7 weeks and didn’t want to wait till the following week for a scan at our clinic. Has anyone had this light brown discharge and some dull aches down below? I just don’t know what’s normal and isn’t anymore. I know circumstances can be completely different and can mean different things for everyone as no one really knows what’s going on till scans happen etc but just wondering what the consensus is?

Hope everyone is well so far? I’m sure it’s safe to have sex after OTD, but we are totally refraining from sex and having any uterine contractions. We partly blamed ourselves for it last time when she started bleeding a day later, so I’ll (happily…ish) wait 9 months if we have too!

@MrsRandMrsR that sounds positive, I’ve seen a lot about rust coloured discharge due to pessaries so could be very likely! Especially as tests are still really dark!

Thank you, yes you’re right I’m just going to wait until OTD as you say, even if it isn’t the reason I’d kick myself if it failed and we hadn’t just waited obsessed that that was the reason xx

Hi, I hope you both are keeping well..... when I was in early pregnancy with our son, I was bleeding large clots I went to the hospital but they confirmed I was pregnant still. Basically if there is a large drop in progesterone bleeding can occur.

Have you spoken to your clinic, have you had an internal scan.. this may give you the information you need.

One of my friend had continued bleeding till 8 weeks, she had healthy pregnancy and now that little girl is in primary school.

Pregnancy is different for each person. I have white discharge, I think it could be left out progesterone. Not sure!

It's good you have booked the private scan as I would do the same so you can put your mind at rest. All the best for Saturday 💞

@MrsRandMrsR that is gods news, I haven’t had any bleeding.
It was my OTD today and got my scan booked for after my holiday on 16/5 (which seems ages away). I’ve been feeling a little bit nauseous the past few days. Really hoping I don’t get bad morning sickness. Is anyone else bruising a lot from the heparin? I’m struggling to find unbruised tummy fat to inject 😳

@MrsRandMrsR oh my what a rollercoaster! I have had brown spotting and on and off and just saw a heartbeat in my 6 week scan, so brown blood doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all over. I have my fingers crossed tight for you guys xx

Hi all, I caved and took a test this morning at 9dp5dt 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s a BFP but after my initial excitement and happiness I’m now just nervous that it could all disappear 🤦🏼‍♀️ OTD is Monday with a beta blood test 🤞🏻 xx

I don’t blame you it’s SO hard, I was adamant I was going to hold out until OTD but I was going crazy! I decided not to do it until today at the very earliest and now I wished I’d waited until OTD because now I’m obsessing whether it’s high enough HCG to be viable 🤦🏼‍♀️ love torturing myself clearly 🙄😂 xx

The fact that you have a BFP is amazing enough, be in you pregnancy bubble... try not to let the numbers get to you, we are all different.

I think i may have convinced my wife to take one tomorrow, i know it will be early but i feel like something is happening... i know that sounds strange but i feel completely different to last month, crampy, nauseous ( i had hyperemesis with my son and i have the taste in my mouth already)

i could be completely wrong and going crazy 😜

Wow congratulations 💐💐 I was the same, I got faint line on day 7 I thought something is not correct! Then I end up testing every day and the line gradually got darker. I test with cheap pregnancy test on day 12 and the line was lighter than the previous day! I thought that's it! I'm done!

Then I tested on my OTD, i saw 2 fat pink lines ☺️ I know we can't wait but once you got BFP I would advise from my experience that please be positive! It is BFP, forgot about faint line, light line etc... Line is a line ☺️☺️☺️

All the best! Now the worst part which I'm going through currently is waiting for the first scan! I have mine on 27th April. When is yours?

I don’t know about scan yet as my OTD is Monday so I have to go to the hospital for blood test and think if that test comes back positive they will call me with a date for a scan? This’s the first time I’ve ever done this so not sure how it all works xxx

Congratulations to you!! It’s funny isn’t it I thought the worst part would be waiting for initial test result and then I’d be relieved but just like you say it seems as though once you’re over one hurdle you just start worrying about the next xx

Ohh the wait is never over! First wait till pregnancy test, then first scan, then midwife appointment then 3rd month growth scan... It's just continue until 9 months haha 🤣 it's hard journey but sweet results at the end when you hold your baby 💞

GIRLS ...... I tested!

It's very faint but it's there, our local Lloyds is shutting down and this was their last test!

I actually can't believe it, I will test again in two days to make sure! But I swear the line is there.

FYI, I can see the cross but have struggled to take a picture of it.

That’s amazing @Jazsimone congratulations!! A faint line is still a positive, my first test was very faint and just got darker.

Thank you so much, my OTD is Wednesday, because it is so faint I am going to test again Sunday (9dp5dt) and otd (12dp5dt)

On the fence. I know it's early, but I was super surprised when I could see the cross.

Just did my evening Crinone gel and when I took it out there were a few specks of blood 😔 knew it was too good to be true xx
