@laurapop sorry to hear this also. I'm hoping for little Christmas miracle as well. my next consultation is 20th March so hoping I can start again with another FET. we are lucky to still have some more to try.

my beta test came back negative on Monday as expected 😪. I stopped medications on Sunday, but I still haven't had my period yet. Last failed transfer I got my period the next day after stopping. does anyone know if it takes longer to come after a fet? could the progynova take longer to leave the system.

so pleased to hear of your bfps, wishing you all the best for the next journey ❤

laurapop · 16/02/2023 09:43

@LR94 you are still fairly early with it being a 3 day transfer and if you are getting dark lines in the afternoon that's a really good sign!! I'm sure it's just extra worry after everything we go through on this IVF rollercoaster!! It was probably a difference in the dilution but if you are getting visible lines I wouldn't worry 🥰

My clinic don't do bloods either but when I rang them concerned they were happy to do so. Just been again this morning to make sure the HCG is back to 0 before stopping my medication. Not sure why I need to wait til then as it wasn't viable anyway with my levels so low.

laurapop · 16/02/2023 09:45

@hhollyll sorry to hear this 🥺. It's rubbish isn't it. I'm not sure when my period will come either but I think it's different for everyone. I haven't taken any medication today yet and I think the clinic will ring me shortly to confirm I can stop taking it.

I'm assuming I can do another FET on my next cycle after this bleed, hopefully around the end of march. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞

THISISIT23 · 16/02/2023 22:25

Sorry to post again!

so on Monday I had some pinkish blood continued testing everyday and still getting positive results but since Tuesday I’ve had a brown discharge - no pains. It seems to be when I’ve moved around it’s worse and after a pessary it’s worse.

Phoned my clinic today and there not interested because I shouldn’t be testing till Sunday haven’t offered any advice or reassurance etc

Phoned my GP - they don’t do pregnancy bloods so unable to help and told me to attend A&E.

don’t really want to attend A&E because I feel they’ll just laugh at me and send me on my way - is there anything else I can do?

Lauralozzle · 17/02/2023 07:03

I’ve been quiet recently, not had right head space to reply and keep up.

Congratulations to all those who have had a BFP.

All those who have had a BFN, I feel you pain.

Official test day for me. It’s a BFN. Not at all surprising, I’ve been spotting since 7dp5dt and started bleeding properly yesterday. AF is here in all its glory this morning.

I had nothing to freeze and this was my only NHS round so we need to look at costs now.

Good luck to anyone still waiting to test.

LR94 · 17/02/2023 08:18

@THISISIT23 Its bad that the clinic are so unhelpful, they are supposed to be supporting you.
If you are testing positive, I wouldn’t worry. My clinic doesn’t do blood tests so i’ve ordered my own to do at home and then you send it off to the lab, will your clinic do bloods after your test day?

@Lauralozzle i’m so sorry ❤️ its such a cruel process. Sending you lots of love and support xxx

THISISIT23 · 17/02/2023 08:43

@LR94 i have no idea what the next step is with my clinic just told to sit back and wait for the phone call on Sunday :/ I’ve had problems with my clinic being unhelpful all the way from the beginning so don’t have much hope! Going to book a private scan from expected 6 week date if still testing positive by then. Where did you order your blood test from if you don’t mind me asking? Xxx

LR94 · 17/02/2023 08:56

@THISISIT23 i got mine from this company, it should arrive today actually.
I should be getting a call from my clinic today but not sure what the next steps are either, do you know if there is a scan sooner than 6 weeks?
i’ve had an ectopic pregnancy before and I was told if i ever got pregnant again there is a high chance it would be ectopic again but I can’t find anything online, I had horrendous stomach cramps last night so i’m now just abit concerned xxx

THISISIT23 · 17/02/2023 08:59

@LR94 - ooo thank you I will have a look into this :)

Our private scan lady told us she can scan from 5 weeks but at 5 weeks they would only see a sac, from 6 weeks they would see a baby and possibly the heartbeat and from 7 weeks they would see the baby and a heartbeat if all is well.

hopefully your pains are just adjusting pains and all goes well if your concerned give your clinic a ring this morning and see what they say xxx

countrypunk · 17/02/2023 10:03

@Lauralozzle I'm so sorry Laura. It's absolutely shit. I hope you're feeling OK - you will feel better over the coming days and when you're ready you can start to make a plan for next steps. Sending love and all best wishes for a BFP very soon x

JuliaIVF83 · 17/02/2023 16:11

Wonderful news @Frosty91 - so glad your baby is doing well and you got to see a heartbeat. How lovely. All the best for the next few weeks waiting for your 12 week scan xx

LR94 · 17/02/2023 19:23

I’ve had my first blood test today and I need to have another one on Monday so hopefully they come back fine but i’ve got extreme stomach cramps which started in the night, is this normal?

Frosty91 · 17/02/2023 19:37

@JuliaIVF83 I have missed you💗. I think everyone has gone to different forums now. I don't like keep changing. So I stuck around here for abit. Yes I am really happy. The nausea and the vomitting have been really bad now🤢 I think its going to start peaking now. Hope you been well. I have my midwife appointment Monday. How are you x

@Jane1284 thankyou lovely. Yess I think I will 0probz do a private scan I found one for £50 at 8 weeks and then have my nhs one at 12. Nausea and vomitting is crazy right now this week has been so bad lol but all worth it. Hope your keeping well x

@LR94 thankyou lovely. I wish you the best of luck💗. And I think symptoms vary with everyone. Stomach cramps are normal if there is no spotting x

countrypunk · 17/02/2023 20:31

@Frosty91 That's a lovely update from you, congratulations! It must be absolutely amazing to see your baby on screen. I'm sorry to hear you've been really sick. I've still had no sickness! Hope it's not a bad sign. Scan on Tuesday.

I started a pregnant after IVF thread on the pregnancy board which is full of women from the original Jan IVF thread if you fancy it! Xx

@JuliaIVF83 Oi oi fellow OG! I think you're just one day behind me - I'm 7 weeks exactly on Tuesday. I'm so nervous, I'm gonna be a total wreck on Tuesday morning 😬

@LR94 I've had lots of cramping. It dies down for a day or two and then comes back. I know how worrying every little thing is though x

Hey lovely people! I have had a dramatic few days. So since my embryo transfer I've been tracking everything through daily tests and it was all going fine. Earlier this week on Monday and Tuesday I did a pregnancy test which came back significantly lighter that the past 3-4 days before it. Diluting it didn't seem to help and I started worrying. I went to my GP on Wednesday for HCG bloods.

Yesterday I went out with my in laws, we were in a restaurant and everything was going fine till I felt a gush in my underwear, checked in the toilet and I was bleeding, it was more than spotting. I was so terrified. My in laws don't know about the pregnancy so I had to go back and pretend all was okay. Got home and the bleeding had reduced to brown spotting. I couldn't get a hold of EPU at all and all night I had back pains and cramping. I starting worrying that all my symptoms had reduced as well and basically expected the worst.

This morning I called the EPU and we rushed over there. We had a scan and to our shock we saw a beautiful embryo with a clear heartbeat measuring on track at 5w6d ❤️ couldn't believe it. The sonographer said she could see a small area of bleeding on the ultrasound so I might have more bleeding or spotting or I might not. My HCG results also came back good. A lot of stress but thankfully a good outcome.

Frosty91 · 17/02/2023 22:06

@countrypunk no sickness is normal too. Some people are blessed with no sickness count yourself lucky 💗 and thankyou so much I am so happy I can't wait for my private 8 week scan something to look forward for now. She gave me 4 pictures and said start making your baby album lol
Midwife appointment on Monday so excited for that. I was 6 weeks +1 they measured me at 6 weeks +2 lol . Good luck for Tuesday I pray it goes really well for you x

AnnaPr1992 · 17/02/2023 22:16

@acaciabluebell love I had exactly the same thing EXACTLY!!!
I woke up on Wednesday morning and I had proper bleeding like period, I started panicking and crying and etc
I went to EPU, they scanned me and the sonographer said I had a small haematoma around 9mm which is called subchorionic haematoma
Apparently is very common in early pregnancy and very common in women who have had ivf treatment
They told me to monitor it and have a scan again in 2 weeks
I went back and mine had disappear
Definitely doesn't affect the embryo
I totally understand how scary it was for you 🥺 iam so glad everything is okay now 🌹

AnnaPr1992 · 17/02/2023 22:18

@Frosty91 a huge congratulations my lovely 🥰💐♥️🙏 so so happy for you ♥️♥️♥️
I wish you all the best and a very healthy pregnancy ♥️♥️💫💫🤰🤰

acaciabluebell · 18/02/2023 09:45

@AnnaPr1992 thank you so much ❤️ mine was a small bleed so not sure if it's quite a hematoma but very similar and they said they will check it at the next scan. It was definitely very scary!! I'm glad yours resolved 😊 xx

LR94 · 19/02/2023 17:16

I’ve been having extremely bad cramps, to the point where i’m doubled over and sweating. Literally unbearable!
is this normal? I know mild cramps are normal but there is nothing mild about these. I’m nervous to leave the house because of how painful they are.
i had bloods done on friday and i’ll get my results tomorrow, also having another blood test tomorrow and a scan on friday. I just hope everything is okay, anyone else experiencing this? Xx

THISISIT23 · 19/02/2023 17:27

@LR94 how many days post are you? Xx

LR94 · 19/02/2023 17:28

@THISISIT23 15 days post now xxx
