Wanted to start a group for those who are due to start treatment in March.

@Lyrabee I'm another transfer buddy. My OTD I'd Wed, crazy how different clinics give such different dates.

@AlisonDanuta great news on your fertilisation rates....I had 8 eggs, 7 fertilised too, and a good crop of embryos from that so 🤞 for you too

@MaybeBabyTwo you're very brave to test this early! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, I darent test or I'll become obsessed

@AlisonDanuta I had 7 fertilise too, 6 made it to day 5. The other one was behind and although they said they could leave it another day they weren't optimistic so we left it :( fingers crossed for you! I found that 5 day wait awful x

Hi Ladies, hope I'm not too late to join. I had a fresh 5dt last week.

@ESWill It's fab to find someone on the exact same timings :) I'm feeling lucky to have been so busy this week as it has totally distracted me! I think I have naïve optimism as this is our first round, which is better than I thought I would feel to be honest! That said, I am SHATTERED today, maybe it's the fyremadel, but all I know is my eyes won't stay open 😂

@Sd183 Yes absolutely feel the shame - shattered! Feeling grateful currently that it's the current symptom I have . Yes agree- keeping busy is great! It stops any overthinking and worrying for me too! X

Hi @Sd183 and @ESWill I think I'm on a similar timeline as you guys as in planning for EC next week.
This is my second cycle, I had stims in January but the dose was too high and I massively over stimulated leading to the cycle being cancelled before egg collection.
This time we started on a very small dose but due to this the follicles are growing very slowly! I'm on day 16 of stims now and have got to 12mm so hoping to get to EC at the end of next week. I have 10 follicles this time, last time had over 40 so things are looking much better, just hoping to get some decent eggs!

Good luck @Jupiteer for your Egg collection! I had similar amount of follicles and got 8 eggs from that (7 fertilised so far)

@Stopthatnoisemummy what stage of IVF are you on now? I've had issues with reaching to blastocyst last times so this wait is just nightmare but hoping it will be better 🙏

@Lyrabee are you on you 2ww? Fingers crossed for you!

@JemInher40s good luck for the testing day! How many egg and then embryos did you have?

I'll find out on Monday if our embryos have divided (day 3) and then dreaded wait for day 5 ! Trying to keep positive as you need to take it day by day so small win atm :)

I had 4 eggs from 4 follicles..3 eggs fertilised, all made it to day 3, but then fertilisation started to decline, and so I had one blast.

@Jupiteer Hi! What day on Stims during your first round were you over stimulating? Sounds more promising on this round for you. The best of luck :)

@AlisonDanuta I had a FET on Monday, so in the tww, although my otd is Wednesday so it's not a full 2 weeks

I've been feeling v crampy this afternoon and tbh it feels like my period is coming, so not feeling v positive this evening. DH is drinking wine and I'm making do with some sprite in a wine glass 🤔

@JemInher40s I've had similar situation on our 1st round, after 3rd day there was a decline duo to egg quality. We've had no blastocysts at all. 2nd cycle very poor quality which were discarded as not good enough to freeze
For this cycle I was advised to take dhea and q10 so hoping this would help my eggs. Only time will tell now

I've taken q10 for both cycles. The first cycle there was only access to one ovary, and so i got 3 eggs and had a 3dt, and one made it to blast.
I used testosterone gel on first cycle, and I briefly started DHEA but got my levels rested privately and realised my levels were normal to high naturally, plus the meds gave me a headache so ceased.

My second cycle was with a different clinic, and they don't use testosterone.

@JemInher40s yes I'm in my tww. I've still got 8 days to go though until my testing date. I'm with care and they always say 14 days so it'll be the 3rd April for me.
When is your test date lovely? Was your transfer okay?

woop. Trigger shot in the bum - done. Surprisingly not painful which was rather shocking given that the needle looked like a large dart! Bad news, another blood test tomorrow which means 6 in a week. Honestly, what is this life?! Sending love to you all x

@Stopthatnoisemummy all you can do now is wait and some cramping may indicate implantation in some cases so try to stay positive. I'm sure your sprite looks like prossecco in that glass:)

@JemInher40s I've also used testosteron gel for 3 weeks before injection this time. I'm hoping all of those additional things will help to achieve blastocysts.

Well it’s official test date for me today and it’s negative.

I was fearing the worst but seeing it in front of you in black and white is pretty tough. I’d resigned myself to it, but I almost feel embarrassed for getting my hopes up somehow.

I’m just so so sick of this process. This was our second collection, second transfer and we have one frozen (lesser quality than this though). It’s just such a hard process, and it just feels so UNFAIR that we are all having to go through this.

p.s my instructions from care say that if your test date falls on a Sunday you must continue medication until Monday and speak to a nurse. Surely this is pointless? A negative test on day 14 post transfer is pretty conclusive?!

I think that it's really good of your clinic to offer extensive monitoring, albeit six blood tests in one week is a lot. Are you with ARGC?

I asked whether I needed a blood test on transfer day (progesterone), and I was declined, so I ordered a private one via medichecks.

I'm sorry to read this. This process is hard. Please be kind to yourself, and don't worry too much about embryo grading of your frozen embie

I don't know how old you are, but a lesser grade embryo with normal chromosomes has a better chance of one that's higher grade but abnormal.

Morning, my transfer day is a week today, and yes, my transfer went well.

I asked for two to be put back in, but the others were of lesser quality and didn't make the freeze.

If this round fails, I'll do one more and then call it a day if no joy.

@AlisonDanuta I had no probs with the testo gel, so hope that's the same for you too.

@MrsWatson84 so sorry to read this. The process is so tough and painful. Please be kind to yourself. Xx

@MrsWatson84 I'm so sorry. I can't see that it can make any difference to stop today rather than tomorrow, but equally it is only one day so maybe it's worth following the rules just in case.

I'm negative again this morning, 6dp5dt. I've lost all hope and have been crying in bed ever since.

got me terrified as well 🙈
